Did excellent work replacing two pipes under the sink. James, the plumber was courteous and very professional and prompt. He even made suggestions about problems I might have with a clogged drain. They were absolutely great. I've already recommend them to the condo association.

Work went extremely well. They came when they said they would and did the job quickly and neatly.

Power came really early in the 4 hour window and that was great. Work was done quickly and Mike (I think that was his name) was great.

Our water heater burst at 1am on a Thursday. We called Power Plumbing and they were a dream from start to finish. They took our call immediately in the wee hours of the morning and put me in touch with one of the best plumbers I've ever worked with, Levon. Levon was on another job with his partner, but he left the job for a half hour so he could do damage control on our water heater, which had burst, and shut off the supply of hot water. If he hadn't come so quickly, I'm sure we would've had water damage. Levon came back on the next morning with his partner and installed a new hot water heater for $900. He also fixed our outdoor faucet, which had been leaking. Power Plumbing is fantastic and so responsive. I'm so thankful we found them!

James was a wonderful guy, he was an excellent plumber. He was able to find out what was wrong and after an hour and half was able to make all the proper adjustments. Our shower and tub now work! Thank you James and thank you Power Plumbing!

I called on Wednesday morning, and Power Plumbing was able to come out the next morning. Rae called in the morning to let me know James was on his way. James was very nice and professional, and didn't mind me watching him work. James did the work quickly and checked to make sure all the parts were working properly and nothing was leaking.

Did a good job clearing all debris and fitting a new drain cover. Also explained the type of well below the drain that could lead to future overflows. They offered a 10% discount for using Angie's List. The overall price was lower than I expected.

Pretty well--they took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. The only annoying thing was they had a back-up of jobs and couldn't therefore come out in less than 6 days without incurring overtime charges...kinda lame, but what can you do?

Finished w/in the hour. Stated that floor has rotted, that fixing toilet would not solve leak over long term. I had called in a.m., plumber arrived middle of afternoon. Also, we have dealt with Power Plumbing on two previous occasions in past year and have always had a good experience, responsiveness and quality of work.

They came very quickly, the same day I called which was amazing. They were efficient, helped with related things to the sewer. They gave me great advice.

Well... unbeknownst to me, it was street cleaning day... and, no parking was allowed on my street. James was not happy about this. He reminded me the clock started as soon as he arrived at my address, not after he found parking. Luckily, he found a space quickly. After that somewhat stressful beginning, James got on with the job at hand. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and competent. Everything under my sink looks fabulous. I've not had so much as a drip since then!

The folks at Power Plumbing were absolutely, positively fantastic. After waiting THREE DAYS for the City of Chicago to determine whether a massive water leak stemming from my front yard by the parkway was "my problem" or "their problem," at 10pm on a Friday night, I found out it was "my problem." 20 minutes later, poof, I had no water coming into the house, and had a 3 month infant and house guests in for the weekend. I needed to find an emergency plumber for a major job that required digging a 6 foot deep hole in front yard to repair the pipe. After trying Fettes, Love & Sieben (who was 'closed' for that type of work on a Saturday -- gerr!), I tried Power Plumbing. Boy, I'm glad I did. They sent a two man crew within 2 hours, and had the hole dug (with a little help from me while waiting) and pipe repaired by the end of the day. Water restored, and a near catastrophe over the weekend avoided. They are now the only plumber I'll reach out to for any issues at my home.

My wife and I bought both a kitchen faucet and showerhead ourselves, so it only needed to be installed. The employee was 10 minutes late and, surprisingly, it took about 2 hours which included a 10-15 minute break just to pick up some tools from the van which was parked just outside our courtyard. When the employee returned, his clothes carried a scent of smoked cigarettes. Obviously, we paid for this unnecessary long break which should not be a break in the first place. In addition, we did not fully appreciate the employee's somewhat arrogant and lecturing demeanor which was uncalled for.

Overall this was a great experience. They were friendly/helpful on the phone, clear in advance on prices, and had someone out the day after I called to fit my tight schedule. The plumber came out, rodded the sink, replaced two obviously old fittings under the sink for a very reasonable materials charge, and fixed a small problem in the dishwasher drain line. Also recommended ways to prevent the problem in the future. He was in and out in less than an hour, very neat, tested all work thoroughly and answered all questions that I had. I'd definitely use them again in the future.

Rae called me at the time she had indicated to confirm the appointment, and Gus arrived shortly afterwards. We talked about what was to be done in my unit, in the unit above me, and another unit in the building; we also visited with that upstairs neighbor, who was still at home that morning. After deciding what to do first, Gus got started. He did a great job explaining to myself and my neighbor the possibilities and risks (!!) of the work he could do. This helped us decide just how far to go! The work in my upstairs neighbors unit and in my unit went as expected. In the other neighbor's unit: when Gus saw what was to be done, he very clearly indicated that this might take longer than we expected, and asked if he should continue. This was good of him: indeed, my neighbor did not expect that the work would take this long, and by giving me the opportunity to say "nope, don't do this after all", I was saved an embarassing incident with my neighbor. Power Plumbing has my recommendation.

Power plumbing came in and installed new sink and faucet. The plumber was on time, clean, professional and courteous. He explained all aspects of the job and what to expect. The work was very high in quality.

I called on a Friday and they where able to have someone come on Monday morning (actually they offered a Saturday appointment but it didn't work for my schedule this was not an emergency). Rae called at 7:30 am to let me know James was a 1/2 hour away. James was at my house by 8. He was very polite and he made sure that I understood everything he would do. It was a very fast fix and he made sure that I understood to drain the pipe and shut the water off in fall so this doesn't happen again next winter.

I called Power Plumbing on Monday morning and spoke to Rae. She explained to me what was likely causing the problem and noted that depending on what lines were blocked, they would need to send a second plumber out. I believe that she also noted that if we needed the catch basin pumped out, they could refer us to a company that could do that. She said they would try their best to get someone out that day, but they had had lots of calls on Monday morning and they were servicing people in the order of calls received but she would call me back. She called me back at 11:45 and said that they could have a plumber there in 15 minutes. James was waiting for me when I got home. He was very pleasant to deal with, explained to us what the problem was, got the second plumber out with the equipment needed to route the lines and recommended having our catch basin pumped out. Power solved our problems. They were able to recommend someone to pump out the catch basin which we have since done.

James was very helpful and explained my house problem and how to avoid in the future. Prompt and professional.

Excellent. Third time, I've used Power. They are professional every time. This job was made more difficult by the tile contractor, who didn't measure quite right. Power had to come back to complete the job, once they discovered the mistake, by the other sub. Power returned, at no additional cost and completed the job perfectly.

The work was great and cost about $400 less than I was previously told by another plumber. He was there on time, professional and explained everything he needed to do.

I spoke with Rae over the phone to schedule a plumber to replace a pipe in my bathroom. I let her know the situation was very urgent as I had no toilet due to this plumbing situation. It took the plumber about 7 days to come out but he did the work in under 4 hours. Rae initially told me they were busy and would not specify when they could have a plumber come out although she felt they could schedule it in 2 or 3 days. I would have appreciated more communication as to when they could schedule a plumber to come out as I had to repeatedly call them to get a status over the course of a week. The price seems reasonable but on the high end. The work performed was great and the plumber who did the work was nice and he worked quickly and cleanly. The only areas for improvement was the phone communication with Rae and the price could have been better.

I am having water in the basement and I called Power Plumbing after I had been contacted at least 30 different trades people. Rae Lynn is an angel. She listened to my story and got the plumbing inspector on the phone and we talked through my problem. Then we scheduled the work in phases. The guys came out and we very professional. They flushed the downspouts and worked over the drains to try and solve my problem. These guys are clearly the best trades people I have ever worked with.

I was extremely pleased with this company and Mike. Although he had a new unit in the truck and ready to go, he took the time to try to repair the old one and succeeded. He gave many useful tips and suggestions about rewiring my old switch. He gave me materials from his union which I found useful and interesting. The call was taken pleasantly and efficiently by a REAL PERSON who followed up. No wonder Power Plumbing has so many stars!
