Description of Work: Power Plumbing came out in an emergency situation when a leak was found coming from the condo above. He stopped the source of the leak and then made a recommendation for a flood and restoration company for us to consider because the leak had caused water damage in three apartments. The neighbor in whose unit the leak began, was so impressed that she said she is joining Angie's List to be able to get service like Power Plumbing. The company that was recommended has been on site drying out walls, checking insulation, etc. and working with our insurance to restore our units. When everything is complete I will report on their work. So far it has been very professional repairmen and work.

Description of Work: Unclogged a kitchen sink.They showed up on our time and were very friendly and capable. Cost was as disclosed. A very easy and positive experience.

Description of Work: Routed out a clog septic line from the street to the house the day Cter Thanksgiving and made Holliday clean up a whole lot easier!

Description of Work: Fixed leaky bathroom faucet, installed new faucet cartridge. Very understanding of my wish to make faucet last til I buy a new one in near future. Very patient and helpful. Fixed faucet perfectly - far more than I expected for as long as the faucet had gone unattended to (me thinking I would be replacing it "any time now"). Very knowledgeable and told me many helpful things during the process. Will install new faucet when I get it.

Description of Work: Assessed problem, did nothing and lied to me about replacing battery backup when it only needed a new battery. Would have cost me almost $800.00 if I had listened to them. I fixed for $150.00.

Always swamped. But respect what you do and am a member so decided to answer. Have used them several times and always been very satisfied. I consider them MY PLUMBERS! Don't feel the need to look elsewhere. Price and performance very good.

Description of Work: John came to the condo and installed a gas line and water line so that I could hook up a gas stove and connect an ice maker for my refrigerator. The price was great and John was extremely professional and informative. He even pointed out other items that could be problems in the future with things he wasn't even hired to work on. I would hire them again in a second!

Description of Work: Changed the grade from our grease catch basin to the main sewer line to correct clogging issue.

Description of Work: In order to close my house on time, I had to have some last-minute repairs. Power Plumbing came out promptly, even though I didn't give them much lead time. They made the repairs and were prepared to go the extra step of certifying for the buyer that the plumbing was generally in good shape. The best part was that I needed an electrician to come out the next day, Sunday. They gave me the name of an electrician (father and son) who came out on a Sunday, one day's notice. The excellent and reasonably priced electricians are E & W Installers, Inc., (Pat Walsh Sr. & Jr.), 7232 W. Coyle, Chicago (773).443-4681. But without the help of Power Plumbing for the reference I would never had gotten the work done on time.

Description of Work: First of all, I called the company at 9:30 am. I was barely out of the shower and dressed when they showed up at the door at like 10:15. We had some minor plumbing repairs; leaky toilet, running toilet, slow draining sink and drains that were never properly installed in the bathrooms. Fixed in a jiffy, no problem. However, our downstairs pump was the major issue. It was not only broken but water and all other kinds of crap, literally, had accumulated. Patrick was amazing. This was a dirty job. But he tackled it with such a positive attitude and was extremely conscientious of trying to contain the mess. He even volunteered to clean the floors. But for the love of God, he had done enough dirty work for the day. Are these guys good......yes. Customer oriented......you bet. Would I use them again...........in a heart beat. AND, I will be requesting Patrick again. What a super nice guy. Thank you so much. Marlene
