After looking into your project notes I can see that you’ve already been in contact with us regarding this concern. We’ve since had an installation manager come out to your home and check the integrity of our work. Our radiant barrier was installed correctly however while on-site we observed that the ridge vent and any intake ventilation along the eave of your home that may exist was blocked by ice. This is an indication of a possible ice dam or snow build-up over the intake or exhaust ventilation that would prevent the necessary airflow through the attic. It was also noted that in December of 2024, condensation was forming on most of the windows in your home, which would suggest the presence of excess moisture in the home. Both of these are contributing to the damage that you are seeing. Unfortunately, these are not issues that Power can assist with as they are unrelated to the work Power has performed at the home. In regards to the consultant giving a new price on a new project, we take that as a new project. It has never been our goal to offer the cheapest option available - instead our aim is to offer long term value to our customer for their investment in a premium product and service. Additionally, we have always delivered one of the best experiences in the industry, which as a whole carries a 68% complaint rate. Power’s customer satisfaction rate for those who have had work done is 96%. We try our best to explain to the customer exactly what will be going on, but in very rare cases there could be miscommunication. At the pre-install inspection, one of the most important parts of that appointment would be going through what to expect regarding our installation process and how we may differ from other companies. In addition to going over logistics, a material drop-off location will be discussed and confirmed at that appointment as well. We use that reference point one business day prior to the day of installation for a material delivery. We apologize if that was not made more clear at the pre-install inspection or if there was any confusion about the details.
