I have to give a shout out to Patrick Plumbing and his crew, who came out and took care of my plumbing issue in a prompt and professional manner. They have my “5 star” review.

We woke up to find water bubbling up from the drain in our basement floor. We called Patrick and Sons and they arrived within the hour to fix the problem. They accurately and quickly assessed the problem and fixed it. Nice guys. Fair prices.

Patrick & Sons installed the hot water recirculating pump and instant hot water unit, and already I have found major problems with each:
1. The instant hot water unit is leaking and Patrick has neither returned my phone calls nor actually scheduled a time to fix this....
2. The hot water recirculating pump and water heater were installed incorrectly - usually you are supposed to use 4" exhaust from the water heater and Patrick's guys used a 3" vent. I had to have that fixed after a home inspection revealed this to be a problem.
Bottom line - they are a pain to work with and Patrick himself is unresponsive and is totally invisible when problems come up. DO NOT USE THEM.

I called Patrick & Sons to address a couple of problems. During the initial call I explained what issues we were having and asked him what the hourly rate was and he said he guessed it would be about $200 based on what I described. They were able to come out when i was available two days later and they showed up on time. So far so good... but that's about as good as it got.
Plumbing Issue #1 - slow bathtub drain. They rodded the drain, cleaned out the clean-out-trap, and everything works fine. Problem number one solved.
Plumbing Issue #2 - leaking kitchen sink. This was due to a stripped nut connecting the plastic pipes to the metal drain. They "repaired dishwasher waste extension" which amounted to spreading some goop inside the threads. First time the pipe was bumped when someone reached under the sink the nut came loose and the sink leaked. Turns out the problem is that you can't connect a plastic nut to metal threads...something I expected the plumber to know but had to learn $225 and a leaky sink later.
Plumbing Issue #3 - sewer smell from sump pump. Their solution to this one was to put plumbers putty around the gaps in the lid to make it air tight. When I went down to check their "fix" before they left I found they hadn't even put the lid back on correctly - it was just balanced on the hole. We got the lid in correctly and he readjusted the putty and... guess what? It didn't make one lick of difference. The whole project took less than one hour. When he told me it was $225 I told him I thought that was outrageous and asked what their hourly charge was. Dustin said they that couldn't charge for this kind of project by the hour (obviously because they wouldn't make as much money as they do when they charge $225 per hour).
Did I call them after the fact to try to rectify these issues? H*** no. I felt completely ripped off and felt like they were completely incompetent. It was worth the money to hire a plumber who could just fix these things and not deal with "managing" someone who either didn't know how to do it right, or didn't care to do it right the first time.
Sound good to you? Hire these guys.

It went exceptionally well. The problem was in the second floor bathtub. The repairman went to Home Depot, got the part and replaced it quickly. No walls had to be torn open and no more leak.

Made an appointment, they called, I didn't hear the phone and didn't see their message until a few hours later. I called at about 4:30 when the appt was originally scheduled at noon and they said they had called and they had only been a few blocks away but didn't hear back so they assumed that I wasn't there. They said that was their policy which they hadn't told me when I made the appt. He was nice and said that they could come back the next day. I ended up staying home the next day so I called and asked if he could come that day. He said sure but he was at another customer's and would call me back. No call/no show. They had great reviews so I am disappointed that this experience was not good and that I still have a clogged drain.

Very good customer service both over phone and with plumbers in home, although they showed up a bit later than they said they would and it took a while as they didn't bring a heater with them. Both were polite, took off shoes and cleaned up after themselves very well.

I really liked them. They were very quick to respond by returning my call, and they came over the next day; I did appreciate that they were here when they said they would be. They had a cancellation, so they actually called me to see if they could come early, which I appreciated. They ended up not having to do anything, but they were very honest, which I appreciated as well. They probably could have been dishonest to get the job going, but they told me there was another way we could fix the leak just by re-grouting the tile and fixing the area around the drain, which really did save us quite a bit of money. Based on my experience with them, I do not have any reason not to grade them well. I actually told them that I would call them again if I had an issue.

The experience was very good overall. Initially, I called Patrick and Sons for a clogged drain that was leaking onto my basement floor. They came as soon as they could and fixed the drain very quickly. They noticed that I had the basement torn up from a flood caused by a sewer backup and stated that they could do an overhead system as well. I had other estimates from other companies, but grudgingly agreed to have Patrick come out and give an estimate. He came over in a 1/2 hour, stated everything that needed to be done without me telling him what the problems were (he was spot on with what the other companies were claiming to do) and at about half the cost. He produced his plumbing license upon request and I checked his company out again on Angie's List and BBB just to make sure he was legitimate. The guys had experience and needed the work and started pretty soon after I had permission from the condo board to start the work. They found lots of different problems, had to get some extra materials, hauled away a lot of dirt and sewage and took an extra day - but they got it done and almost at cost. I had them do some rework and there was some extra materials charges that added to the final bill, but I thought that those were justified. Their willingness to do good work showed when, after the crew had left the job for the last time, I found a drain pipe that they had missed hooking up to the rest of the sewer system. The foreman, who was still there doing the last walk through with me and answering all of my questions, immediately called all of his crew back and fixed it within 1/2 hour. Patrick and Sons also came back to fix a minor leak free of charge and installed a highly recommended battery backup to prevent any failure of the new ejector pump. The plumbers were good-natured, hard workers and as clean as they could be dealing with all the stuff that they had to deal with. I was very satisfied with the price, company and the work that they did and they will be the first plumbers I will call if I ever have any more plumbing work to do!

They did a good job. They were very polite and and very good. They were very professional and have reasonable prices. I liked their work. The only thing that I didn't like was their responsiveness when I call them and they don't call me back, but that only happened once.

Their service was unbelievable. They were out of her in 20 minutes and we were expecting a huge bill but it was only 60 dollars. We are going to use them in the future for another plumbing project we have. The were very nice.

We put in a call to Patrick & Son's on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Our voice mail was promptly returned and an appointment scheduled for that Tuesday. They were a bit late in showing up the first day but when they arrived, they got right to work and manged to locate the problem pretty quickly with the camera. They marked the spot and the next day with the heavy equipment dug right where the problem was marked. They also had to be really careful as the gas lines were located close to the sewer pipes, the water lines on top of that and there was not much room to maneuver! They did a superb job. I was very happy that they did not have to dig in the landscaped area and they took care in not destroying the bushes we planted the year before. We were satisfied with the work performed and the promptness in getting it done. We were also able to use the discount from Angie's List which saved us some money. We would definitely use this company again and refer others to them.

Overall, it went very well. Patrick and his team were able to start work within a day or two of us realizing their was a problem. They even started the hand digging on Memorial Day so they could complete the work as quickly as possible. Additionally, Patrick was very good about estimating the costs (and coming in as estimated) because he understood this wasn't a cost we had expected to incur.

They were fantastic and I would absolutely use them again.
I initially thought that they had done a good job, one thing that they were going to do is come and put the cap on the clean out that they put in the yard. Now I have been calling for a month straight, and he keeps telling me he'll be out the next day, and 5 weeks later I am still waiting with a bucket over my clean out rather than the cap. Not sure what is going on, but obviously my satisfaction has gone way down.

The drain in our basement laundry room floor began to back up at approximately 7AM. Since it had rained really heavily all night we assumed that there was a problem with flooding in the neighborhood. However, none of our neighbors had issues and the water was coming in as fast as we could remove it. We called Patrick at noon. He was there by 12:45 with his crew. They quickly and correctly identified a problem with our main drain. After rodding out the drain, the problem was solved! (And we learned that the flushable toddler wipes are not so flushable!) By 2 PM we were finishing cleanup and order was restored. Nice guys who obviously care about their customers!

The job went very well and there hasn't been a problem since. I'm completely satisfied that I got the best work at the right price.
