We called and Sarah set up an appointment for us on a Saturday which was very convenient for us. She brought plenty of samples of different types and colors of carpeting which was great since we weren't exactly sure what we wanted. She helped us select some nice carpets for the family room and bedrooms that we really like and she helped us stay within our budget and at the same time to get good quality materials. Mary and Sarah in the office did a great job keeping in touch with us as we scheduled the installation appointment. They showed up on time for the installation, completed the job within one day, and cleaned up well before they left. We're really happy with the quality of the installation and carpeting. We highly recommend Mr. Carpet!

We checked out carpet and pricing from three different providers. Mr. Carpet had competitive prices and, by far, the best service. That's why we ultimately chose them. After inquiring by phone the type of carpet we were interested in buying, a sales representative came to our house with a ton of samples, all of the type we were interested in, and helped us pick the perfect one, from start to finish. She carried samples from room to room, let us step on them to feel the difference, moved them in and out of different lights, and gave detailed descriptions of how one differed from the next. After my husband and I agreed on one, she put together a quote and left her information so we could call and confirm our order at our convenience. We did, and within one week the carpet was installed. Two installers came and laid the carpet beautifully with furniture back in place in less than half a day. It couldn't have been easier. We have zero complaints about our experience. I was able to schedule the appoint via e-mail with Mary. We wanted to get the estimate as soon as possible and Sarah was able to squeeze us in a day after I made the request. When she arrived she immediately measured the room and talked to us about price so that she could show us samples within the range we wanted. We already knew we wanted a frieze so that is all she brought in. She had a wide selection too. She told us about each sample as she showed it, material, stain resistance, and of course what is would cost. She was very open, honest, and upfront about everything including the padding options and costs. That made it very easy for us to narrow down the selection. Then she gave us plenty of time to compare the 2 selections we liked best. We stood on them and held them next to the furntiure so we could really get an idea of how it would look and feel in the room. After we chose the carpet she wrote up the estimate and even reminded us about the coupon offered here so we could print it and get the discount. Following her visit, we did some research of our own at Lowe's and Home Depot. We also had Empire Today come out. Empire was incredibly over priced for their initial quote. We were able to talk them down to a lower price, but those sales tactics were terrible and we didn't think the carpet was a very good quality. That is why we ultimately decided to hire Mr. Carpet. The installation went smoothly. The crew was very friendly and efficient. It looks great and we are thrilled. We highly recommend this company.

Let me start by saying this was a very difficult thing for us to do because our wood floors are gorgeous. Our floors are (were) so nice that Mike, who arrived promptly, spent probably the first half an hour to an hour talking us OUT of carpeting. During this time he gave multiple suggestions for foregoing carpeting our unit some of which were extremely creative such as "buy the guy a nice tv and be done with it" or the idea of not doing wall-to-wall and instead going to within about one foot from the wall giving us both the carpeting we "needed" and allowing us to still enjoy the look of the wood throughout our unit. After talking it through we decided on wall-to-wall throughout, save the kitchen, because our intention was to deaden the sound emanating from our unit to the downstairs neighbors unit, which got us branded by Mike as the "best neighbors ever" which is probably the exact opposite of what the downstairs neighbors think. After trying multiple styles of carpeting (even blind testing) we decided on a particular one that the family loved including our dog. Mike loves dogs, I mean REALLY loves dogs I think were it not so late the day he came he might have stayed longer, just to play with our dog! After Mikes play session with our dog he gave us our quote, sure we almost passed out, but he said we could make this work and he was correct; he worked with us and we were able to accept his quote a couple days later. Installation day arrives and two guys show and they do the same thing everyone else does, "Are you sure you want to carpet these floors?!?" At this point we were actually excited for carpet day to arrive so, "yes, yes I am". We had 1200 sq ft carpeted and the job was done in a superb fashion (it took a full work day to complete); the same quality level is true for the crew that came to shave our doors. We love the job that was done by Mr Carpet!

I am very happy with the service and company guarantee of customer satisfaction, they mean it. When I got home from work and saw the lines in the carpet of one of the bedrooms I called the company at 10 p.m. thinking I would leave a message. They actually answered the phone after hours and I was transfered to the owner. I told him the problem, he promised the company would make sure I was satisfied. (I had my doubts) Mike the owner agreed to come out the very next day at whatever time was convenient for me, so at 8 p.m. he was at my house. I was ready for a fight when Mike came. He saw the problem, he thought it was a problem from the carpet manufacturer. He promised to replace the carpet, gave us a lettuce entertain you gift card for the inconvenience of all the hassle (nice gesture), and asked if we would allow the manufacturer to come and inspect it, that way the manufacturer has to pay for replacement carpet, but Mr. Carpet still had to provide the labor for the replacement. I said no problem. I was thrilled they would replace the carpet regardless. Mike also offered to give me a large carpet remnant from the replacement carpet to use as an area rug for the basement. So within a couple of weeks, the inspector was out, new carpet ordered, installed, and I now have a large area rug in the basement with a thick carpet pad underneath. This is perfect for my 15 month old to play on and it feels better on bare feet than any area rug I could have pruchased at the store. You don't ever want to have a problem with a job by a contractor, but inevitably something will happen. This company exceeded my expectations in how they handled everything. So based on everything, I highly recommend this company.

It was all very easy--I set up an appointment with my first phone call and Sarah came out with samples. She measured, worked with me to find carpet in my budget, and was very helpful when I was deciding on colors, etc. The carpet came within a week and they were able to install the day I wanted. The installers called in the morning to see if they could come early--no problem and they were finished within three hours. They cleaned everything up, moved the furniture back, and were very accommodating and professional. Overall a great experience--I would definitely recommend them.

was looking to replace family room carpet after the last of my dogs passed away. I called Mr. Carpet and talked to Sarah. She came out with an associate just a couple of days later. She was very helpful in helping me decide the type of carpet I needed for the room. Because I plan on readopting a greyhound, she narrowed it down to stain resistant berber blends. Also recommended a pet shield for padding. I selected a stain resistant berber and she helped chose the best color for the room. I was very impressed with the company. They communicate well, return emails, etc. The installers were very careful moving fragile large items (big tv) and very professional and courteous. The carpeting was a bit on the expensive side but well worth the investment in that it is guaranteed against all staining for the life of the carpet or is replaced for free. The pet shield padding is also worth the money. Once the carpeting was installed the company called to make sure everything went as anticipated. Very pleased with the carpet and absolutely love it!

We needed carpet for our basement and wanted to have it installed quickly. Mr. Carpet called us back right away and worked hard to get an order placed and completed for us soon as possible. The salesperson (Miss Carpet) who came out was friendly and helpful and we felt good about our purchase. The installation was on time and fast too. We would definitely use Mr. Carpet again. I was having family from overseas come to visit and wanted to get the house in tip-top shape. My carpeting was old and I decided it wasn't worth trying to clean. I also didn't have time to chase around from store to store looking for new carpeting, and I had heard horror stories from friends and neighbors who had had nightmare installations. I decided the easiest way to do it was to have someone come to my home. Plus I had three different patterns of upholstery, and didn't want to haul around three pillows trying to find a color that would go well with them all. I called Mr. Carpet on a Friday, and they were able to set up an appointment for me the next Wednesday evening aftter work which was extremely convenient for me. Sara, their sales rep, was very knowledgeable and patient and walked me through all the available options and the pros and cons of each. I liked my old carpeting and wanted to replace it with as close a match as possible. She worked with me to find a compatible color and explained in detail the different warranties as well as the installation process. I explained I was on a tight deadline, and Mary, her supervisor checked to make sure the carpeting was available in the warehouse. It arrived and was installed 10 days later, on a Saturday morning, so I didn't have to take off work. The installation process was incredibly smooth. I was worried because I had a LOT of antique furniture--both my own and my mom's from her apartment (two sofas, four chairs, 4 end tables, a coffee table, a sofa table, a dining room table, six dining room chairs, a china cabinet, a sideboard--AND a piano)! I emptied the china cabinet, but I couldn't imagine how they would install the carpeting with all the furniture in the rooms--but they did! They sent three men and they moved everything into the dining room and TV room, completed the living room, hallway, closet and sunroom, and then moved everything into the living room and completed the dining room. They had to piece the carpeting with a seam because of the width of the rooms, but once the carpet was down and glued, you could not see it at all. And they put everything back for me where I wanted it, and did not mar the newly painted walls in any way--all in 3 1/2 hours! I told one of the guys how impressed I was with them and he told me it was because they had a 3-man crew and he had over 15 years' experience. Believe me, it showed! Overall, I was very, very happy with the result. I ordered a high-end carpeting because I wanted a very deep plush--it was what had come with the house originally and I decided I would not be happy with something different. It was pricey, but it came with a 20-year warranty, and the warranty doubled if I used the padding from the rug's manufacturer, which I did. The other carpeting I had was probably 25 or 30 years old and had held up well, so I thought it was worth the price. Their prices for plush carpeting (as opposed to Berber or a shorter fiber) started at about $2200 for just under 600 square feet and went up from there. Sara was a good saleswoman--she wasn't pushy, she knew her product, and she was really helpful with her feedback and suggestions. I would heartily recommend this company to anyone shopping for new carpeting.

If it were possible to give Mr. Carpet an A+, I would. It was a great experience working with them, and I will use the company every time I need new carpet. I called for an in-house consultation, and I was given an appointment in a timely manner. In addition, I was asked about my specific likes and dislikes in terms of carpets. The salesperson, Sarah, called to confirm the appointment and asked for even more details. She listened very carefully and when she arrived for the appointment, she brought in samples, all of which indicated that she understood precisely what I was looking for. Sarah is very knowledgeable, personable, and experienced. It was a delight working with here, and, after I bought the carpet, they promptly placed the order, let me know when the carpet arrived and set up an appointment to install it, all within a week! The carpet installers were neat and efficient, and the installation looked absolutely great. I highly recommend this company.

I was in charge of getting carpet quotes for the condo association. I called this company first, the woman I spoke with on the phone was the same person who came out and did the estimate. She was well informed when she arrived, because she had all of the information from our phone conversation when I scheduled the estimate. She arrived on time for the estimate, showed me the best carpet samples for our use, did not try to up-sell me on high end plush carpet which we didn't need, and even offered to come back at the next condo meeting in case the board/unit owners had questions. She emailed me the quote the next day. Then I got quotes from two other companies, Empire and Luna. Horrible experiences. My advice to carpet shoppers, be wary of the company that insists on the decision maker being present at the time of the estimate. Be wary of the salespitch, tonight and tonight only we can give you this deal, but tomorrow the price goes up. Empire quoted me substantially more, then said gave me the preferred customer discount, and then the salesman got on the phone with a supervisor and offered me a deal that I had to take that night. They were still more than Mr. Carpet. Mr. Carpet was respectful of me as a woman (unlike another company whose salesman insisted on talking to my husband and male neighbor and trying to sell them on the carpet), their estimate was fair, straightforward, no negotiating, no arm twisting slimy sales pitch. We needed the carpet installed right away, but Mr. Carpet insisted on getting its deposit check prior to ordering carpet. Fair enough. But what was great is that they understood the rush and came to my office and picked up the check from me so that it could get ordered that day. Great service. The day of installation the crew arrived early, started work immediately. They estimated 1-2 days to complete. I left for the day and when I came home, they asked if they could stay late to finish the job and they were done by 7 p.m. Good efficient work. Great result. We are so happy with the new carpet.

They did a terrific job. Sarah came out to our place, showed us a bunch of carpets, then had the guys into to install the carpets as soon as it arrived (they don't carry inventory, they order everything). The carpet looks great, and everyone was very accommodating.

Mr. Carpet was very pleasant to work with and we love the quality of the carpet. . They did their best to be responsive to a difficult situation when our basement flooded three days after the carpet had been installed.

The whole process with Mr Carpet was easy and pain free. Both Mike and Mary were easy to reach and responsive to our needs and were a pleasure to work with. Given that we were moving into a new home and having various work being done, Mike was able to accommodate our schedule and get the carpet installed before our move in date on very short notice. I had been concerned about installing carpeting after having just freshly painted, but the installers did a tremendous job in not damaging or dinging any of our walls. As a side note, no fewer than three other vendors (painters, handymen) recommended Mr Carpet unsolicited. Finally, we had gone out to get a quote from another A-rated Angie's List brick-and-mortar carpet vendor in our neighborhood and the experience couldn't have been more different. Their customer service and interest in competing for our business was completely underwhelming. Mr. Carpet was 100% the opposite experience.

This was a very positive experience all around. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. Sarah Smith, our sales consultant, was very helpful and informative. Based on our initial conversation, she brought a wide and varied selection of samples into the house for us to choose from. The carpeting arrived within a week and the office staff worked to accommodate my calendar for the best installation date. The installation team was courteous, friendly and most importantly they did a great job on the cleaned up after the installation. Again, overall a great experience and I would use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

I called Mary to ask for a rep to come out with Masland carpet samples for our stair runner project. We schedule an appt to meet with Michael a week later and he brought out exactly what we asked for and gave us some great recommendations. a couple of weeks after we placed our order and the carpet arrived, they called to schedule time to have the installer bring it out, measure, and cut. A week after that it was installed and only took a few hours. They did a great job, we love it and the carpet has really transformed out entry way! We will have a project coming up soon for carpeting the basement of our house and we will be sure to use them again.

Great Experience. We searched Angie's list and found several potentials. At first we had difficulty getting an appointment . . . BUT, NOT TO WORRY . . . Mike arrived on time and helped me select a carpet style that matched our needs for comfort, wear and color. He had some great suggestions and we picked a durable, but nice looking carpet for a high traffic room with pets. The turnaround time on the carpet was great - about 1 week including final sizing of the rug. This is the second time doing business with Mike and Mr. Carpet - they provide great service!

From the moment I contacted the staff at Mr. Carpet, I was happy with their professionalism and responsiveness.
