J Sitko built new porches for our 2-flat in Chicago. The porches look great, the price was reasonable, the work was delivered on schedule, and we passed the city inspection without issues. They even helped schedule the city inspection earlier than planned because we suddenly had an earlier deadline. We would definitely work with them again - Thank you J Stiko!

J. Sitko Construction did an excellent job on my porch. It was a pleasure to work with these folks. Mike is very responsive and my job was done quickly and efficiently. He kept me up to date on the progress which moved fast. Jack is polite and extremely good at his work. I have received a number of positive compliments about the quality of J. Sitko's work. They worked well with the City of Chicago to build my porch to code. Their price was competitive and their work was exceptional. I highly recommended J. Sitko Construction.

Sitko provided the best price for removal and replacement of our wood deck with composite deck boards. Once drawings were prepared (separate service) and village permits were cleared, the work was scheduled and completed in just over one week. The concrete footings were well made and clean. The rail cap was shaped and cut to be functional and provide a good appearance. Composite facia boards were used to present a neat and clean overall installation. Jack and his team are great deck builders and I would recommend their work to all. The deck is approximately 18'x13'.

I just want people to know who they are dealing with when they call Sitko. I set up an appt with one of the principals of the company to get a quote on repairing a cracked garage roof rafter. He never showed up on the appointment date and did not call. I left messages for them on three different numbers and never heard back. No apologies- nothing. I guess I was not a big enough job for them to be shown common courtesy. I took the afternoon off to meet you, thanks for wasting my time Sitko!

Michael and Jack were a great team. I inquired about their services and a quote (original referral from a neighbor), I had a response and a date schedule to see the project within 24 hours. After checking the site, I had a proposal with 2 business days. I sent some feedback and asked for more specifics, all were accommodated. The work was completed on time and on budget. You can’t ask for more in my opinion. The quality of the work and materials (Trex Transcendence line) are as expected. Thank you Jack and Michael.

I cannot speak for all the concerns provided below, but these guys were great! Mike was consistent with the communication and Jack was very professional and on site daily to see the project through. I received 5 quotes from 5 different companies (including J. Sitko). After reviewing all the estimates, I initially decided to go with another company because they were a little cheaper than J. Sitko. However, after numerous attempts to gain clarity on the final price for the porch I wanted, the winning bid stalled me out. Unknown to J. Sitko, I initially wanted to do the job with them anyway based on how Jack explained the process and how diligent Mike was in providing reassurance as to how the project would go. Needless to say, what is suppose to happen... happened and I am glad I decided to go with them. Being home during the process allowed me to see the craftsmanship and care they put into building my porch. If there are any doubts or concerns with this company/crew, remove it and you will find out for yourself. There was no hassling to do the job or regarding payment. This crew is reliable, more than I have seen in many years doing remodels. Some companies talk. This company went to action. Thank you J. Sitko and crew!

Jack Sitko and his company built us an amazing pergola in our backyard. I requested 3 quotes for this project. Sitko was the only one that came out and reviewed the yard and where it would be built. The quote was fair and reasonable. The crew did an incredible job. They had to remove old patio pavers and install concrete footings.What impressed me, was the attention to detail with cutting the pavers to fit nicely around the footings. Once the footing were set, they built the pergola in a day. Jack is easy to work with. He sketched out some design ideas and took my guidance in terms of height, length, etc. His crew built an amazing pergola. They cleaned up the yard and were extremely professional throughout. I would definitely hire for other projects in the future.

J Sitko was highly responsive to our request through Angie's. Jack Sitko came out and gave us a thorough & detailed quote for our deck replacement and exterior wall/siding repair. The team was very responsive to our initial questions, and when we selected Sitko for the work took care of all the steps from design and permitting through final inspection. The crew came quickly and worked steadily throughout the whole project, even in the colder days of December. They identified numerous issues with our exterior wallboards and quickly replaced all rotting boards (a larger project than we imagined). The deck went up quickly and was exceedingly well built and secured. The team wasn't the neatest I've seen, given this was renovation to our existing living space, but were quick to haul away all construction material. Sitko took care of our punch list promptly, making sure we were completely satisfied. The whole project took less than a month, and we now have a new exterior space to enjoy come spring!

Contractor had to reschedule time of first appt & then after coming out he promised to send a quote so we could get started ASAP. I waited & I called & called again to find out where the quote was & how much it would be but I got zero response. So after I called a few times, I gave up.I was only able to leave voice mails messages & hot no response. Disappointing & wasted my time.

Very poor customer service. Scheduled a meeting several days in advance. No call - no show. I had to call to see where he was, his assistant replies with "let me see if he's coming, no he's not coming". I'm sure if I never called they would have never followed up.

"I have not been scheduling meetings on the weekends for awhile due to our workload. We tried to accommodate this customer but it just did not work out. I have been responding to this customers questions about his project for 2 weeks and have answered all his questions with my architect. We submitted a proposal for his project and i have been following up/ We apologize for the inconvenience. Jack is not available at night and this customer is not available during the day. We will try to communicate when this happens with a meeting."
