From start to finish, H2H movers was a pleasure to work with. I've had a bit of experience with movers having moved across the country 3 times in the last 3 years. This move, however, was a local move from the South Loop of Chicago to the West Loop of Chicago, and was by far the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. The movers actually got done early, which saved me some cash. Also, my representative followed up to see how the move was going on moving day and days after the move. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

I was a little cautious as this was the more affordable option of the variety of choices we looked at, but the team was amazing. They communicated plenty ahead of time, arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and managed to move all the items between our locations without a single scratch and an hour under the quoted timeframe. Great, friendly staff that were eager to continue to help beyond what was asked of them. I'd highly recommend H2H to anyone moving in the Chicagoland area.

The movers were efficient and professional. My only complaint is that they stopped for gas along the way. My move was only 30 miles so in my opinion they should have gotten gas prior to arriving for the job.

I had 4 movers from H2H for my local move. The movers were professional and took good care of my items. My new place has a narrow staircase, which made moving some of the larger items very tricky! But they cleverly figured out a way to get the items up there-- without damaging my walls! The team also communicated with me a number of times before my move to ensure everything was all set, and I also appreciated the follow-up post-move!

On move day, they were on-time and they worked very swiftly but carefully as they handled all of our furniture. They communicated with us across the move to make sure they were properly handling items and placing them where we wanted in our new home. They wrapped everything to make sure nothing was damaged and they were very respectful throughout the process. They also finished 45 minutes ahead of schedule. I really can't say enough about these guys, they did a wonderful job and we were so happy with their service. 100% recommend to anyone getting ready to move.

This was my first timing hiring movers in Chicago and I am so glad I picked H2H Movers! Their service was impeccable, they reached out before and after my move to go over the quote and answer any questions I had. I moved from a studio apartment to another, and had shrink wrapped everything on my own. However I had more boxes than I originally estimated but the movers were very efficient and completed the move right on time. I would definitely hire them again!

This was the second time I have used H2H movers. They are clearly professional movers rather than day laborers. They know how to be efficient, and they’re very professional. My job was to move 2 bedrooms of furniture from our garage to our 3rd floor. They estimated it would take 2 hours - it only took them 1 hour, and that included assembling 1 bed. We’re going to have to move that furniture again in the spring for some additional construction work, and I will not hesitate to call H2H to do the job.

This is everything that you want in a moving company. The 3 person arrived right on time. The crew was friendly, efficient and treated my belongings like their own. The actual price was half the estimate and the crew was able to complete the job of moving the equivalent of a 1-bedroom apartment a short distance in just over 90 minutes. They wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets, did not lift more than they could carry and organized my belongings in the truck in a safe and organized manner. Once we arrived at the new location, they moved items in the rooms I had requested and payment was a breeze. I can confidently recommend H2H movers.

I hired H2H for a local 1BR move yesterday after a recommendation from a coworker. The 3-man crew showed up on time, worked quickly and professionally, and finished the entire move in just under the 2 hour minimum! They took care to wrap all furniture in moving blankets or shrink wrap as necessary, and nothing showed up broken or damaged. Total cost came under estimate since they originally estimated 3 hours, and there were no hidden or extra fees tacked on. I’ll never stop being amazed at how much one mover can lift...

This was our first time using movers, and we were just doing a unit transfer within our building, but we valued speed and efficiency first and foremost. H2H was responsive and friendly throughout the process even before moving day. We communicated over email and text, and I also received a phone call during and right after the move to check in to see if I was satisfied with the work. The three men who came to help with moving were quick and efficient, moving appliances and furniture plus bags and boxes of all sizes and shapes! The big hurrah was our unwieldy bed and bedframe - they disassembled and reassembled quickly. We transferred from a studio convertible to a one bedroom unit and the entire job took 1.5 hours without any delays. After moving a few other smaller things ourselves, we were able to unpack and organize everything and be completed settled in by the end of the day. Quite painless and simple! Would recommend H2H if you're looking for something simple and efficient.

Had a good experience with this company. They called multiple times throughout the moving day to give me an accurate time as to when they would arrive. They worked very quickly and made sure the furniture was well protected before transporting it. Very friendly movers and easy to work with, with reasonable costs. Would consider hiring them again!
