Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

Furnace wasn't heating, and it was a cold night. Called at 6 PM, repaired by 9:30 PM. Pleased with service, would use again for annual cleaning.

Sales consultant came out with information on all options available to us. He was very informed and helpful with the decision making process. He gave us the best deal, even beating another company after price comparison.

THE SERVICE WAS OK. CALLED ON ONE OF THE HOTTEST DAYS IN JULY AND THEY SENT SOME ONE THE NEXT DAY. REPAIR MAN CAME TO REPLACE A PART, WHICH HE HAD TO ORDER. THE COMPANY SAID IT WOULD BE TWO DAYS TO SHIP, WHICH DIDN'T GO OVER WELL CONSIDERING THE TEMPERATURE WAS OVER 95. AFTER SPEAKING TO SOMEONE I WAS ABLE TO HAVE THE PART SHIPPED ASAP AT NO COST TO ME.

Good experience. Service Technician was informative and helpful, told me I need a new furnace and why. Which is the same thing the home inspector said. Gave me a quote which appeared reasonable, although I may get others.

Very timely response given that it was on a Sunday. The serviceman was very polite and friendly. The overall bill was pricey, but he was at our home for over 2 hours.

They did a good job in installation even when they had to stay late.

Four Seasons has exceeded our expectations. We called for an estimate, and the next day Dave Koronkowski arrived right on schedule. Dave patiently took us through our heating and air conditioning options and made his recommendations. He did not try to sell us the most expensive products! We were planning to obtain more estimates, but we were so impressed with Dave's explanations, that we placed our order on the spot. Two days later, Thor and Mike (?), from 4 Seasons were at our house for installation. They started at 8:40 a.m. and worked straight through to 5:40 p.m. to complete this major job in one day. Thor explained to us his work and the furnace maintenance and located the thermostat in a new room at our request. The new PCV pipe they designed for drainage of the humidifier is a work of art. We are completely satisfied with this installation.

The repairman called the shop to set up the appointment & got a crew out to take down the old furnace & install the new one. They arrived at 10:30P & left the next morning at 3:45A. They were courteous, cleaned up the mess, & took away the old unit. Everything was working when they left. Next day, I was taking a shower & the water turned ice cold. They had forgotten to re-light the pilot light. I called & they said someone would be back between 6P-8P that evening. The repairman called up at 10P & said he'd be at my house in 1/2hr. to get my heat started. I said it was my hot water that needed relighting. He almost didn't come over because he said his paperwork said it was heat. I told him to call his office & get to my house & re-light the hot water tank. I didn't know how to do it. He showed up at 11P & it took all of 5 minutes. Now I know how to light a pilot light. Overall, I had a good experience & would call them again. Thank goodness for Angie's List!

We had a great experience with Four Seasons. The estimator, John O'Brien, was very knowledgeable and experienced and really tried to understand our needs. His recommendations seemed very consistent with my independent research. The installation crews were terrific. They handled a few challenging (and one unexpected) issues very well (like how to vent one of our furnaces), kept us informed, and were very neat and respectful. When a minor issue came up at one point, the owner of the company called me (without me asking) and we immediately worked out a solution. Be sure to specify what kind of thermostat you want, understand the differences among air cleaners, etc. If you know what to ask for, they will accommodate your request.

I called the 24 hr emergency line and left message at 3am. I was disappointed that no call was returned until 7:50am. The repairman, Ray, arrived on time as stated at 10am. He quickly identified the problem and informed me of a defective ignitor. He further explained that the part is under warranty. He told me that I should first pay for the part ($195) and request reimbursement from the manufacturer (Carrier). I paid for the service call ($65), two furnace cleaning (@$59.90 each w/Angie's List discount), and the installation of a new ignitor. I then called Carrier to get reimbursed. Carrier informed that they never deal with the customer directly and the reimbursement process should only involve the repair company. There was a misunderstanding with the repairman as to the reimbursement and thru the tireless efforts of the service manger, Ben, reimbursement was made in full. The service manager went above and beyond my expectations in educating me on the warranties available to me

THEY HAVE A PRICE SHEET THAT SHOWS HOW MUCH THE PARTS ARE FOR SERVICES. MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE BECAUSE YOU FEEL BETTER ABOUT NOT GETTING RIPPED OFF.

The tech came at 1:00 p.m., was polite, and the charges were $350.00 with the 10% discount when I mentioned Angie's List. Since I never had the automatic damper replaced before, I could not comment on the price. But the point was the heat would not go on, and after he replaced the damper the heat is now on.

We were very happy with Rodney's work.

The servicemen did not arrive until 2:30 and it took them 12 hours to install the new furnace. They left at 2:30 A.M. They did not have the right equipment to drill and the piping was poorly designed. We had to call the next day and speak with a manager to express our dissatisfaction with the job and the time it took. They scheduled the service manager to visit us the next week seeing we did have heat working. Upon his arrival, the inspection showed everything to be working correctly and were told the piping was installed the only way that could be allowed. We were then offered a discount on the installation.

JOB 1: TECHNICIAN, MIKE, WAS PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT, CLEAN AND HELPFUL. WITH ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT THE ANNUAL CLEANING PRICE WAS BETTER THAN OTHER COMPANIES. JOB 2: FOUR WEEKS PRIOR I HAD THE HEATING SYSTEM CHECKED AND CLEANED SO I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS, OR THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE. THE TECHNICIAN SAID THAT THIS PROBABLY COULD NOT BE DETECTED AT THE TIME OF THE CLEANING.

Very good. I called on Monday with a non-emergency request for service, and they scheduled me for Tuesday after I got home from work (between 6:30 and 9:30 pm). The serviceman called around 7:30 to confirm and said he'd be there within the hour, and he was. He looked over the furnace, determined it needed cleaning, and finished within 15 - 20 minutes.

THE WORK WENT REALLY WELL, BUT A VALVE WAS LEAKING WHEN THEY LEFT. THEY ORIGINALLY WANTED ME TO PAY FOR THE VALVE BECAUSE IT WAS AN OLD PART, BUT THEY EVENTUALLY CAME BACK AND REPLACED IT FOR NOTHING. CLEAN-UP WAS STUPENDOUS. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY AND THANKED HIM FOR THEIR SERVICES, AND I TOLD HIM I WOULD LIKE TO PAY HALF OF IT.

I HAVE AN OLDER FURNACE AND HE EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG, AND THINGS TO BE AWARE OF, AND ADVISED ME TO BEGIN LOOKING FOR A NEW ONE, BUT WAS NOT FORCING TO SALE ME A NEW ONE, JUST GIVING ME HIS EXPERT ADVICE.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! I CALLED TWO OTHER COMPANIES LISTED ON ANGIE'S LIST AND THEY COULD NOT COME UNTIL 5-7 DAYS LATER. FOUR SEASONS AND THEIR STAFF WENT BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY TO FIX MY TWO HEATERS. THEIR STAFF WERE TIMELY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WOULD USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN. THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

FOUR SEASONS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FIX THE PROBLEMS AND MAKE ME SATISFIED. THE OWNER DAVE MUSIEL CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES TO MAKE SURE I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED....A+++++!!!

FOUR SEASONS WAS TERRIFIC. I CHOSE THEM PRIMARILY BECAUSE THEIR ESTIMATE WAS CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN ANY OTHER ESTIMATE I RECEIVED. GIVEN THAT THE ESTIMATE TOOK PLACE WHEN I WAS NOT EVEN THERE, I AUTOMATICALLY HAD FAITH IN FOUR SEASONS AS A GOOD UPSTANDING COMPANY BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN OLDER WOMAN. IT WAS AFTER WALTER AND LUIS ARRIVED TO INSTALL THE BOILER, HOWEVER, THAT I REALIZED THAT I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. THEY ARRIVED EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND POLITE, AND THEY DID NOT STOP WORKING UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETE. NOT ONLY WAS THE INSTALLATION PERFECT, BUT WALTER AND LUIS VOLUNTEERED TO TEAR OUT AND HAUL AWAY THE OLD, GIGANTIC INCINERATOR. THIS TOOK THEM AN EXTRA COUPLE OF HOURS AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME A DIME. EVERYONE ON FOUR SEASON'S TEAM, FROM THE SALESMEN TO THE INSTALLERS, TREATED MY GRANDMOTHER'S HOME LIKE IT WAS THEIR OWN. EVEN THE PEOPLE ON THE TELEPHONE WERE EXEMPLARY. FOUR SEASONS IS AN EXCELLENT HVAC COMPANY.

I CALLED AT 11PM AND WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE CALL BETWEEN 8-10 THE FOLLOWING MORNING. A FEW MINUTES BEFORE 8AM, I RECEIVED A CALL CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT AND THE REPRESENTATIVE, JAMES, ESTIMATED HIS ARRIVAL WITHIN 45-60 MINUTES. HE ARRIVED 30 MINUTES LATER AND WAS CHECKED THE UNITS. FINDING NO GAS LEAKAGE, HE GAVE ME A FEW TIPS ON PRESERVING ENERGY -SUCH AS TURNING OUR WATER HEATER TO THE VACATION SETTING WHEN WE'RE AWAY TO HELP KEEP THE GASS BILL DOWN. HE ANSWERED A COUPLE OF OTHER QUESTIONS AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THAT FOUR SEASONS ACCOMMODATED OUR WORKING SCHEDULES & SET UP A LATE EVENING APPOINTMENT. THE FORM THAT THEY USE FOR ESTIMATING JOBS IS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW. IT ALLOWED US TO EASILY COMPARE THE PROS & CONS OF SIX DIFFERENT FURNACE QUOTES ON ONE PAGE. ULTIMATELY WE DID NOT CHOOSE THEM BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CARRY THE ONE MANUFACTURER THAT WE FELT WAS OUR BEST CHOICE.

WE MAY GET CENTRAL AIR NEXT YEAR. WE WOULD DEFINITELY GO WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UP-FRONT WITH PRICING & DIDN'T HASSLE US BY ASKING US WHEN WE WANTED THEM TO DO THE WORK. I LEARNED A LOT ABOUT AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS & OUR OPTIONS FROM THE ESTIMATOR. I WILL USE THEM WHEN WE ARE READY FOR IT.

AWFUL. TERRIBLE. SALESMAN, KEVIN, CAME OUT GAVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TWO A/C AND TWO FURNACES, HOT WATER HEATER. WHEN THE INSTALLERS CAME, THEY SAID IT MUST BE UNDERESTIMATED, CALLED THE OFFICE AND LEFT. GENERAL MANAGER, GRUNDY, CALLED AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT DO THE JOB FOR THE CONTRACT PRICE. WE WOULD HAVE TO RENEGOTIATE THE CONTRACT. HE OFFERED A PRICE OF ABOUT 25% MORE. HE ALSO SAID THAT THE GUARANTEE THE SALESMAN HAD CONFIRMED BY SEPARATE LETTER COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE HONORED. HE KEPT SAYING THAT THE SALESMAN HAD MADE A MISTAKE. IT WOULD SEEM THAT IF WE HAD A SIGNED (DOUBLE CHECKED BY PHONE WHEN THE SALESMAN WAS HERE) THAT ANY PRICING ERRORS SHOULD BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMPANY. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. THE OWNER CALLED ME AFTER ALL OF THIS AND OFFERED TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ORIGINAL QUOTE AND THE PRICE THAT WE EVENTUALLY PAID.
