Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

They came out to check out the system exactly when scheduled. I was given an estimate that was explained and was satisfactory. I was informed about some rebates. The price was excellent. They started the work several hours later, working until 10:30 PM to get one unit to work so that I had air for sleeping. They even sent a second crew to get the work done. Workman were professional and cleaned the area of all debris when completed. They even replaced ductwork that had been damaged by squirrels. They returned the next day to complete the installation in the attic again working until 11:00 pm. No payment was expected until all work was completed satisfactorily. I am completely happy and grateful with their prompt response and effort to get the job done quickly and to my satisfaction. Absolutely the best service experience in my home that I have had of any kind. And they have 24/7 service for any needed repairs.

Overall things went well. When I mentioned that I needed to keep costs down, they offered to install an older model unit at a discount. The job took longer than originally quoted because they broke a freon line by accident in my wall. Otherwise, they showed up on time, did a good job, and the new system works great. My only complaint would be that they tried to install a new thermostat with "4-Seasons" and their phone number printed on it. I didn't like having an advertisement in my living room, so I convinced them to put on a plain cover.

They did a good. I would use them again.

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The woman who scheduled the appointment was polite and friendly. I explained I was a new customer referred by Angie's List. I do not know if that is why she gave me a special rate, but she said that this A/C check normally costs $109.95 but that I could have a special price of $79.95. It might have been a special they were already offering for another reason; I wish I had thought to ask whether it was related to my mention of Angie's List. Anyway, I was given the date I wanted and a 5-hour time range of when the technician would visit. On that day, Joe called ahead of time and estimated 35 minutes until his arrival. When he arrived, he was friendly and efficient and kind to my obnoxious dog. We had to climb a scary wall ladder to get to the roof, but he never complained. The entire visit took about 30-40 minutes, and there were no issues with my AC. As he worked, Joe explained what he found and did, he also thanked me more than onc

They came out same day, which was important since we had no hot water, and called to tell us when they were on their way. They were efficient and explained the problems to us before performing the repairs. I also liked that even though they came at night the charges were not increased. We will definitely call them for any maintenance/repairs in the future.

Awful. They charged $100 for the freon (which is fine) and $100 to perform yearly maintenance. The yearly maintenance consisted of spraying the outside part, with something in a spray bottle and hosing it down. They looked at the inside part, but did nothing. The tech said, I probably have a leak in the freon and if I have problems, I should have them back to check for a leak and fix it. He also said, there would be no service call charge for the second visit. I called them a month later, because the unit wasn't working and they said there was going to be another charge, just to have them come out. I explained that the technician said there would be no charge, but they said he shouldn't have said that. So seeing as how the unit is not operating at all now, and they want to charge me again just to come out, I am going to go with a different company.

They were a couple of hours late, but once there Joe did a great job cleaning and servicing our equipment. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. We'd use them again. They also have coupons in the Sun-Times a lot.

I contacted them-wanting a quote on new furnace & A/C. They had someone out here the same day. Job scheduled 2 days later. Ken was prompt. He looked at existing unit, and I talked with him about what I wanted. He was very candid, told me that the high efficiency (90%) would cost me a lot in terms of labor, and although the company would make more money, he would recommend an 80% efficient unit. Would save me $ (labor & energy bills), and still do a great job for our home. For the A/C unit, he also recommended a unit that would not be overkill for our home, but do a great job keeping things cool. His quote was a final price, all-inclusive, no hidden costs. I really appreciated his honesty for recommending what was best for us, not what was in the best interest of the company. The installers were prompt. They laid drop cloths throughout the house. I was here, so they explained everything they were doing. No hitches at all. Tested everything. PERFECT!!!!! Luv this co!

My a/c went out and I knew it was time, because my units were over 30 years old. The hot weather was coming and I knew I had to get this done. I had three companies come and give me estimates. Two of the companies had nothing good to say about the competition or the the products they sell. Four seasons was very friendly, informative and answered all of my questions. They measured all my rooms and gave me 3 different options and explained what each one did. The installers wore shoe covers and laid down tarps to protect my floors. They worked from early morning till 6 pm without a break and cleaned up after they were done. I was in a bit of a jam because my wife just had twins, and I had to get this work done in a timely manner. Not only did they meet they exceeded my expectations, I was so happy that they were able to complete my job in one day and I didn't have to make arrangements for my wife and my two new sons to have to stay somewhere else. Thank you Mike and Tom for the great job.

They were by far the best company I have ever worked with. From start to finish they were attentive to my need and their customer service was impeccable. They were affordable and cleaned up everything when they left and then followed up with me a week later on the phone to make sure everything was up to my satisfaction. Overall, I would recommend them to everyone that needs a heating or air-conditioning unit.

I have used Four Seasons for the past several years for routine annual maintenance of my furnace and air conditioner and have always been extremely satisfied with their service and professionalism. So when it came time to replace these units, Four Seasons was one of the three companies I interviewed for a quote. Not only was the Four Seasons price competitive, but the sales rep. really took time to explain the various alternatives. There are several models for the heater and airconditioner to choose from. The rep. did an outstanding job of explaining the positives and negatives of each model. He was very easy to talk to, he listened well and was not pushy at all. The job was done by installers who knew what they were doing and did a great job of cleaning up and explaining the features of the new systems. They started and finished exactly when they said they would. Icing on the cake was the fact that the sales rep. offered to pay for the annual subscription to Angies List.

The sales person, John O'Brian was very courteous, timely, and provided accurate information and estimates. The technicians who came to do the work did a fine job of installing the hardware and making the duct modifications, cleaned up after themselves when the work was complete. I have recommended four Seasons to my friends for their heating/cooling needs as a result of the excellent job they did on our home.

Excellent response. Diagnostics performed the same evening and repairs the following day.

Very happy with their work. Everything was top notch and I have no complaints. I would recommend them to others.

We had to have them come out 3 times to fix the PVC piping on my furnace they had installed. It was dripping in the basement. I had used a 5 gallon bin to catch the water. Every time they came out, they were very nice. They always respond very promptly but they never seemed to get the problem solved. They were out a week ago to fix it the third time. Since then we haven't noticed any leaks, but we're not running the heat so we have yet to see.

Their price was close to the company I actually used, but just slightly more expensive, but not the same equipment. The estimator was rude and refused to quote me on the equipment that I asked the company to come out and quote me on.

Someone had accidentally turned a water control knob and they came out and fixed it. It was a reasonable charge.

After I looked them up on Angie's List, I also noticed that they offered this discount for Angie's List members as well. What upset me even more was when I went to open the paper they had an advertisement in there also offering ANYONE the same $30 discount that they were going to give me as a "preferred" customer. I feel that if I am an preferred customer, they should offer a special discount, and not one that is available to everyone.

Estimate was good. They were professional and polite... However when they followed up on the quote and I explained that I used another contractor, the estimator became aggressive, belligerent, and said that "he thought we had a agreement." I told him that I never agreed to anything and in fact that he knew I was getting estimates. (Hello Angies!) He then SWORE and hung up the phone. He just proved that I made the right choice!!

It went very well. The salesman was very nice and he quickly beat the lowest estimate I had from another company by 520.00. The installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves very well. They followed my request about where to place the compressors outside and they were friendly and hardworking.

I called them and asked if they give free estimates for moving my outside garden AC unit a couple of yards closer to the house, they said that they would have to charge me a service fee in order for them to come and give me an estimate of the actual work. I then said, 'ok, thanks, but I'm looking for a free estimate'. In a few minutes, after I hung up the phone, I got a call back from them (they got my phone # from their caller ID), and they apologized saying the person whom I had talked to was new and didn't know that they do give free estimates. We then arranged for a day and time for them to come and give me the estimate. The technician canceled the first appointment the day of the appointment, but rescheduled for the next day, so I got the estimate. However, I didn't choose to go with them as it was very expensive.

Jesus called me to tell me he was on his way and would be at my house in 20 minutes. When he arrived, he checked everything out and let it run for approximately 30 minutes. He told me something just needed to be cleaned. He did that, and the heat came back on. He just charged me for the service call, not for anything else, as he told me nothing else seemed to be the matter. However, he told me if it went out again, to call and I would not be charged for a second service call. I was extremely pleased as he could have told me I needed a new furnace and I wouldnt have known otherwise. When it comes to home repairs of any kind, honesty is a BIG factor, especially for a single woman.

After calling in late Monday afternoon, I was able to get an appointment the next day. I was given a window from 9am-12pm. The service tech showed up at 8:30am.

They had trouble getting the permits because they didn't show up with proper paperwork initially. They gave me a good price and a good warranty. I was overall happy with job.
