Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

Very responsive and on time, but grossly over charged us for the service and the part. They did not give us an Angie's List discount. A representative contacted us after this posting, concerned we did not get a discount we were entitled to. Even though the discount is listed on the Angie's List website, he wasn't aware of it & he decided to make good on it. We received the check promptly.

Last Feb, when my husband & I were out of the country, our furnace broke down. I advised my son to call Four Seasons. They were prompt to repair, but I thought to expensive. When I said this to an Angies list rep on the phone, I was called one day later by a Four Seasons customer rep. They gave us a free furnace cleaning, were zealous in their eagerness to make good any problems; and I promptly bought and had installed a new furnace humidifier from them.

I couldn't believe how quick they completed. They came and installed the same day. Excellent. I used them a few years back for A/C replacement. They were very thorough in explaining everything from start to finish. They even thought to use footies over their shoes before entering my house. I will definitely and recommend them to others.

I like this company. The customer service people are very nice and helpful on the phone. The technicians are nice and either take their shoes off or cover them when they come into your house. But, I feel this new supervisor who they have to call before giving out the bill is charging too much. In the present economy, people can't afford to be gouged. People have a choice of where to go for services. I will give them one more chance in the spring when I need to get my A/C cleaned. But before I let someone come over, I will ask about the cost. If it's too high, I will find another company.

Furnace blowing, no heat in the evening. Waited until 7am to call. Got appt. for same day. Husband was able to get heater going, but still needed to have furnace cleaned and checked since it has been more than 2 years since the last cleaning. When I called, I asked if there was an Angie's List discount for A/C and the receptionist said no, but that there was a $79.00 coupon in the paper($30.00 savings). I have noticed the coupons before, but didn't think about it now and was glad she mentioned it.(THANKS!) Joe and Ryan answered all my questions and didn't push a new furnace. I REALLY appreciated that(ours is at LEAST 20 years old). Joe told me it is from the first group of energy efficient models. We will call them again for the fall cleaning. HOORAY!

They are fantastic. They were able to correct another company's sloppy work (who also told us we need a new furnace). We still do not need a new furnace. They are a more honest company than the other we used.

They showed up the day we called. Did the work and that was that. It only took him 15 minutes to fix the water heater. The sensor had debris build up on it. He cleaned is off. The guy was nice and I have hot water again. Very happy.

I am a landlord and was away on vacation (literally checking in to my hotel) when my tenants called, saying they had no heat. I walked into my hotel room, immediately logged on to Angie's List, called Four Seasons and explained the situation, and they said they would come out within the next few hours. Although a lot of work didn't end up being needed, Four Seasons showed up within an hour and my tenants had heat again. Start to finish, from hearing from my tenants to Four Seasons getting the heat on, the entire experience took less than three hours. That's worth every penny of $187 as a landlord away on vacation at the time! After the repair, I received a phone call from the repair man with a detailed explanation of what went wrong, what he saw, and how he fixed it. It was excellent and made me feel a lot better.

It worked beautifully. Four Seasons really knows its stuff, and was able to give us the pros and cons of each A/C brand we were considering. They installed it right on time, and everything worked great. We never felt we were talked down to or ripped off. This is a real quality company.

Upon arrival the technician was friendly helpful. I immediately felt at ease with him and upon explaining the problem he knew exactly what the problem was and informed me it was a simple but common problem with the heat sensor. He showed me the problem, explained how the equipment worked and even demonstrated how the safety device functioned. 15 seconds into the visit my furnace was working great. He offered me a piece of mind contract which I purchased since purchasing our home we have had one problem after another with a variety of systems in the house. He inspected the rest of the furnace, answered several of my questions and wrapped up the call. I am confident in his abilities and will definitely call them again if I ever have any problems with my furnace again.

The work went exactly as expected; they have done an annual inspection and cleaning before.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! What a great company!!!!!!!!!! We were truly 110% satisfied with everything!!!!!! We got a number of estimates before making our decision. Four seasons was the best value by far. They were the first estimate to arrive. Our salesman, Curt spent a significant amount of time explaining everything so my wife and I understood all the options. By the end, we were ready to sign the deal. Curt wanted us to be comfortable with everything, and insisted we get other estimates. We did. I can't even explain how much more Four Seasons had to offer than anyone else. We have a wonderful experience with Four Seasons and recommend then to everyone. I would ask for CURT S. He was excellent and gave us a great deal!!! A+++.

It was a simple enough solution, so fixing was not that difficult. I was more impressed with Bryan, the technician. He was extremely personable. Being in the service industry myself, I know how important it is to impress the customer not only with the quality of work, but also impress the customer with the person doing the work.

Their prices seemed good at the time, but they were unable to complete the install the first time and had to come out a total of 5 times before they found someone who could complete the job and stop the leak. They also scorched the wall during the install while they were using their welding equipment. However, I was happy with every person that sent out. They were all very polite and respectable even though the job ended up taking those 5 days to complete. They didn't give me any problems with having to have them come back out five times. Now that it's a year later, I needed a copy of my contract because my mine wasn't legible and within the hour, they faxed me a legible copy of the contract which I appreciated.

Overall, I was very pleased with the service I got from Four Seasons. The sales rep explained the product, walked me through my options on boilers and offered a variety of financing options. Once we decided to go with him, he was very responsive and timely in coordinating the install around my schedule (they install on Saturdays) and setting up the financing. The guys who installed the boiler did it all in about a day and left no mess for me to clean up. They were friendly and one guy gave me his radiator key so that I could bleed the radiators if I needed to. One thing that did go wrong was they forgot to open the zone valve for the main floor back up. So an hour or so after they left, I noticed we had no heat on the main floor. Four Seasons has a 24-hour on-call maintenance service, and they got someone back out to fix the problem within an hour or so. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any heating/ac work.

I had an Angie's List discount. They did a satisfactory job.

The heat went out at 4 am Thanksgiving day. We called multiple places on Angie's List, and this was the first place that had a real person to speak too. We determined that we could survive with the fireplace until the next morning when a technician would come between 8am-1pm. The technician, Wilson, called 30 minutes before he arrived around noon. Within minutes he determined that we needed a new flame sensor, he recommended a regular cleaning, told us how old our unit was, and that the blower had already been replaced a few yrs before. He called for another person to drop off the part since he didn't have one with him and told us he would return once the dispatcher told him the proper part had been delivered. He returned within 2 hours and installed the part. By that time we decided to sign up for the service contract, due to the age of our unit. The contract allows a $50 credit per year towards new equipment, which we will likely be needing down the road.

They were prompt in setting up a time for the serviceman to come out and clean the furnace. They gave me a time window of 4 hours for which I had to take a 1/2 day off of work. In talking with friends after the fact, I'd probably find another company that was able to give a shorter time window for services. John came out and cleaned the furnace in about 20-30 minutes. He was friendly and professional.

The repair man was very polite and was on time. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. I just found the cost extremely high. The repairman was in our home for about an hour. The Emerson direct drive blower part costs $85 (found it on the Internet). I basically paid $500 per hour for the repair.

Jason didn't do any complex analysis to size the furnace, but came in at a size similar to most other estimators. His price wasn't the lowest, nor the highest. I hadn't looked at what manufacturers various furnace companies carry before asking Four Seasons for the bid. I called them because they have cleaned my furnace for several years. I ultimately decided to go with someone else because of the repair record for the brand they priced. Even though they offered a slightly longer warranty than other dealers (12 vs. 10 years for parts), I just didn't want to deal with any potential problems.

We saw the great prices in the newspaper (as advertised by Moose, Hunter Hillenmeyer and Tommie Harris) and they were for real. We knew the HE unit would cost about $2,900, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out when the salesman told us we would get everything with installation for $3,600.00, out the door. Since our old unit was leaking CO into the flue, he arranged next-day installation. I did point out to the salesman, "Are you sure the old unit will fit through that doorway?" "Sure," he replied. Well, I'll just say to any potential boiler customer out there: Measure yourself. You may save yourself and the installation crew a little headache at the end of the day.

I really liked working with this company. I think they are well deserved to be on Angie's List. The work was great and they really surprised me because they were the ones who told me to join Angie's List and then they would reimburse me for the cost of joining. They are great. On second visit, they said they would be here between 1 PM-5 PM. They called about 1:30 and said they were on there way. The gentleman arrived about 10 minutes later, put on covers over his boots and went and cleaned the furnace. He seems to be very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions I had.

The air conditioner stopped working in my folks' old house. Four Season's had someone out the same day I called. Phil showed up right in the middle of the scheduled time, quickly examined the AC and tracked the problem back to an external circuit where one of two main fuses had blown. (You can't tell visually whether this type of fuse has blown.) He didn't have these type of fuses with him, but explained how I could get one quicker (and cheaper than him returning to the shop to get one) and replace it myself. This fixed the problem for just the price of a service call.

Leo who was the technician showed up on time and was courteous. Did a good job.

Very happy with this company. There employees' work ethic is unreal. A+.
