Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

I paid the technician $79.00 for the service call, and declined any further work. After the repair I did myself, the unit fine (20 months thus far.) I cannot recommend Four Seasons. Sadly, the vast majority of people are totally helpless when it comes to this type of repair, and rely on an expert to help them. I am sure most people - in the face of winter - would've felt obliged to spend a large sum of money - that they most likely didn't have - in order to replace a furnace unnecessarily. The company has a good reputation for a reason, I am sure... but I would never use them again.

Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. Given a 4 hour window :( but I did understand it as they may be delayed by a previous appointment. Technician called 20 min before arrival as requested. The technician arrivede on time. Put on booties to enter my home. Listened to what I had to say. Ac only needed a recharge and was not asked to spend on anything else. Told me what to look for in the future. Very professional outfit. Reasonable cost. Would highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the Four-Season technicians. They were empathic to the situation and worked well into the night, on a very hot day, in order to provide our tenants with relief. The pricing was fair and the technicians allayed any of our concerns. We are extremely grateful for their work!

We had just bought an older home that boasted a newly installed furnace. The day after closing, we noticed that the house was not being heated to the right temperature so we contacted the original installer used by the sellers to have them fix the issue. In summary, they came out twice and were unable to fix the problem for good so I decided to call Four Seasons to have them take a look. They found the problem and fixed it in one visit. George was very nice and took the time to explain why the other guys could not or had not fixed the issue properly. He then proceeded to fix the problem for us once and for all. He was very professional and took the time to check that everything else was done how he would have done it and fixed those as well.

I called them after 9 pm on Sunday to do work at a rental unit for my tenant and was able to schedule them to come out the next day (the entire upcoming week was forecasted to be over 90s so this was appreciated). The plan was to have them repair the unit but they recommended replacing it after cleaning since it was still not working and the unit was fairly old anyway. The guy who did the work did not charge me for the cleaning ($500) even though he had already done the work since he was recommending the whole thing be replaced. The company was able to schedule the replacement work to be done the next day. The installation took place the next day from 10 am to 10 pm that night. The reason it took so long was because they were installing on a 2nd floor condo and they were having a hard time getting the new unit into the 2nd floor utility room. They finally called me to say that they would have to cut a 1/4 inch off a wall to fit the unit in. Since this was a condo, I had to get approval from the association and the installers patiently waited for me to find the right contacts at the Association before continuing the work. They were still professional at 10 pm when the work was finally done and it was over 90 that day as well! I am very happy with the work they've done and highly recommend them. They are also very friendly and took the time to explain all the work they were doing.

They were great. I was very pleased with the workman. They were in and out of my house and got it working. They needed an extra part for the thermostat so they ordered the part for me and once it arrived they came back to install the part. They were very pleasant.

Tech checked entire system, determined it was the capacitor. Made service recommendations, prompt, no extra charge for Sunday and holiday weekend call, prompt and professional

We originally called because our air conditioning was not working properly. It was not cooling properly. Eric G came out. Identified the problem quickly and suggested solutions. He explained generally how the system worked and how to insert the filters properly. He added 2 pounds of freon in the system. The unit is quite old, but is still in working condition.

They were very good and I was very happy with them. They answered all my questions, took their time, and did not rush. I got them off the list. I have two furnaces and I spent roughly a $110 on that service. I used them again for the serious problem a month later because I was very happy with them.

The service all went very well. I will definitely use this company again.

Four Seasons came out and the service tech said that I needed a new igniter/flame sensor. He had to order one and said it could take a few days. This was a Wednesday which meant my tenants would have no hot water for a week. The next day I called the office and asked if the part could be shipped overnight and that I would pay extra for it. They did order the part and on Friday the tech came to install it. My tenants had hot water but on the following Tuesday the water heater stopped working. I called again and another tech came out on Wednesday and said the problem was the control module (gas valve/thermostat) wasn't working properly. The problem was not the igniter/flame sensor. Four Seasons ordered a new control module and installed it on Friday. The tech left and my tenants still had no heat. Another tech came out Saturday and said either the new control module was defective or there was an electrical short in the water heater itself. He promised to install a new module and said he would call me on Monday. He never called. I made eight calls to the customer service department to try to find out what was happening. Finally I got through to Melissa, the manager in customer service. She apologized for the delay and promised to adjust my bill. A tech came out on Tuesday and installed a new module and my tenants finally got hot water after two weeks. I was not happy with their handling of this problem. The first tech misdiagnosed the problem. I was not told that I could have parts shipped express (which I would have pay for) to speed up the installation. No one called me back on Monday when they said they would. In addition, this water heater is less than three years old and parts were under warranty. I never should have been charged for parts in the first place. In fairness to Four Seasons they took off the charges for the first visit, express shipping and all parts. The supervisor apologized for not responding to my calls. Melissa was very apologetic and had a service tech come out the next day. They did fix the problem. I have used them a number of times to inspect, clean and fix furnaces and boilers and have always been very pleased with their service. They have always been responsive, punctual and professional and I believe that this incident was just a bad combination of a wrong diagnosis, defective part and poor communication. I would still use them again.

Service tech was punctual and polite. Stated the problem and the cost, also accepted by discount coupon as well as informed me of other services available but was not pushy.

They were right on time and very polite. He was very thorough and even offered me coupons. He let me know about future repairs and my options. He kept the work area clean.

Initially, there were very nice to us; but then we found out that the person who came out gave us the wrong information. That one guy truly did not know what he was doing.

Workmen showed up on time and worked late the first evening. They didn't know we had already been told this would be a 2 day job. They were trying to get it done in one day. They returned the next day and finished. Explained everything, where the new filter was located, how to use new thermostat. They cleaned up and removed all the trash. We never did sign an actual contract and no partial payment was made before the job. We could only pay with a credit card/debit card or a bank check upon completion of the job. Which we did and found no problems in doing this.

Booked the appointment easily and the technician arrived as scheduled. Drained the unit and it works.

It was pure laziness on my part that I called Four Seasons for this. After their performance on the repair they'd done previously I hadn't planned to use them again. And boy do I regret it now. The two items feed into each other. First of all, when the tech came out, he was polite and nice but I don't consider it professional to tell me in response to an obvious noise problem that it "sounds normal" and to "ask the heating guy when he comes in the fall." Especially when a proper seasonal maintenance hasn't even been done. I ended up calling the manufacturer to get a recommendation, and that company came out, recognized the noise problem immediately, took apart the air handler (something the Four Seasons guy didn't do) to clean the motor as part of the service, and determined that the previous people hadn't been cleaning it (it was pretty obvious that this new guy wasn't exaggerating). He also pointed out where the heat and wear damage caused by the motor not being properly cleaned caused the blower fan to wobble and become damaged on the side of the unit. That was the direct cause of the excessive noise, and he'd diagnosed it in about 10 minutes of work, even while training in a new guy, in contrast to the Four Seasons guy who took about 30 minutes do do ... well, to do nothing, as it turned out. When the not-Four-Seasons guy put in the replacement parts, it was dramatically quieter, so I'm confident that Four Seasons really did fail to diagnose, fail to actually perform maintenance, and fail to earn the money I'd paid them. And they lost a sale and, this time for sure, a customer. I'll never call them again.

It went well! I thought the tech was gonna do more work but he didn't need to I guess.

Rep. called to annouce he was coming. Showed up in window arranged. Polite. Used Shoe covers. Right to work. explianed steps along the way. It was a dead capacitor. I showed him last summers service call paper work. That same part was replaced last July and there is a 1yr. manuf. warranty. He called in the situation to supervisor and quickly said yes, no charge for the new one and replaced it. Once A/C was running he tested temp coming out of vent. he explained is should be around 48 but I was reading 58. Here comes the additional costs.... He told me the choices. Top off the freon and get more efficient cooling and should check levels next year to be sure there is no leak, or do an elaborate leak test for $700 plus. We topped off the freon and will check levels next year. Once he performed the freon work the vent temp did lower significantly, his recommendation was valid and it will keep our costs down overall not have the unit run as long to cool house. Good service. explained well. pleased.

They were professional and it seemed like they were fair in pricing. I did not feel that I was getting cheated.

Everything went ok with the installation. One of the employees worked outside installing the units and one employee was doing the duct work. The guy outside was talking on the phone part of the day. Due to the fact he was talking on the phone the project took 12 hours, which was more than they originally quoted. I was happy with the quality of work. They even cleaned up after themselves very nicely. After the installation we were told that we would able to file a tax credit for the efficiency of our units. When we went to file our taxes we found out we couldn't use it. I was very upset about that. I would still use the company again I just feel like I had a bad crew.

Our Air Conditioner stopped working on a really really hot day. We had used Four Season's this past winter to replace our furnace and was very pleased, so we definitely called them. We called and were told that we would not be able to get a time frame of when he would be coming, but that it would be today. We were fine with that as we needed it repaired and were happy to just get same day service. We called at around 4 pm and he showed up close to 9 pm. So not too bad. Dan came by and was very pleasant and professional. We appreciated him using booties while in the house and he repaired it quickly. We could tell he was beat as it was late and he had a busy hot day. But he never showed it in his attitude. We were 100% satisfied.

The repairman, Don, after explaining our options worked with us to arrange financing. After all financial arrangements were made, Don indicated that the air conditioner could be installed that evening with the installers arriving around 7:00pm. The installers, Jason and Kane, arrived as promised. They inspected what needed to be done, where the air conditioner unit needed to be placed and how they would proceed with the job. They explained how they would proceed with the job. They were courteous, professional, informed us what they would need access to (fuse box and laundry room) and back door. As they did each part of the work they let me know what they were doing. When I asked a question they provided answers that corrected false information. When they ran into an electrical problem they were able to diagnosis the problem, fix it, and the air conditioner ran beautifully. They worked late and were cheerful all the while. At the end of the job, they completely cleaned up. We are prepared for a nice cool summer! We had used this company in the past for other repairs so we completely trusted them for this job. I would use them again for any heating and cooling jobs in the future.

Installer was very organized ,thorough and neat . did removal and install by himself. Very professional. Explained every step done and how unit works.Company upgraded at no extra charge to bigger unit because of a misunderstanding.
