Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

Our furnace had been on the fritz for sometime. One morning we woke up to a 60 degree house. The furnance had finally just stopped working. I called Four Seasons. They were out within 24 hours. I was so worried we were going to need a whole new frunace which would have cost thousands. The service man came out and diagnosed the issue as a faulty switch. He then gave my husband a tutorial on what the issue was and why the furnace kept shutting itself off. He was very thorough and not at all annoyed by my husbands persistent presence (when you think there maybe $$$ on the line you pay attention, right?). Overall we were very happy with the service and we will call them again if needed.

Got a coupon for furnace cleaning from Four Season so scheduled an appt. During the first appt, I got a call from the technician and I told him that I would meet him in 5 minutes. When I got to my place, the technician had already left. I called him on his cell phone but he did not pick up. I called the company and the technician told them that he had waited for 15 minutes when he really only waited 5 minutes. Considering that he talked to me on the phone, you would expect that he would call me again to let me know that he was leaving but he didn't. So I had to reschedule and had to wait a week for the next appt. For the second appt, the technician did the cleaning but afterwards, my blower would not turn off. Another technician came out the next day and said the switchboard was broken and would be over $700 to replace. He then proceeded to try to convince me to buy a new furnace system. Obviously, I was suspicious of their work considering the switchboard was working before the cleaning and the push to buy a new system. I had another company come out to take a look at it and they were able to fix the problem for less than half of the price of what Four Seasons wanted to charge.

We noticed our furnace was not working at around 9:30 Saturday night. When we called, they gave us a window of time that someone would be out to our home. I was surprised and quite happy when an employee showed up within the hour! He was able to rig our furnace so that we got heat for the rest of the night and also for Sunday. He also gave us space heaters for our bedrooms and family room in case it didn't hold out until Monday. Another employee came back with the new circuit board we needed Monday morning and installed it. This definitely went as well as we could possibly expect. Would definitely use this company again. Great service!

Called for an estimate on a repair of our old system, and a tech showed up who gave me one quote while inside my home, another on his written estimate ($500 higher). I said a quick thank-you and let him leave. Bad 1st impression of the company. However, I received a follow-up call that afternoon, from a FS rep asking how the appointment went. Decided to tell her the truth. She understood my frustration, asked for a 2nd chance with another technician, promised things would be very different, and my impression was not typical of their work or reputation at all. I agreed to another estimate appointment. The following morning, Ken Potts showed up. He is the best! He listened to my concerns, inspected everything, offered suggestions and a few options/solutions. As it was our 3rd repair of our 16-year-old unit in just a few months, we decided to replace the whole system. Again, Ken gave us 3 options, including his recommendation for the size of our home. He had pamphlets of all the systems, with all the specs, and explained it all in detail. In comparison, our long-time Angies List HVAC company gave us nothing to examine, other than 2 price quotes for 2 systems, verbally. When I reviewed all the options, turns out he gave us the most competitive quote of the 3 companies we'd seen already. We set an installment appointment for the upcoming Friday (3 days out), crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, very polite. Overall, I was happy with their work. The reason I really like FS is that they stood behind their claims of making things work. We had an undiagnosed problem in the new system (not cooling the house) that caused 3 return trips in the first month, but a supervisor finally diagnosed it and we've been good to go ever since. Additionally, that supervisor gave me his cell phone # for future use, if any problems. Also, Ken was readily available via email/cell phone throughout the entire process to help things along. That is service! Would highly recommend FS & Ken!

I had flood in the basement and the representative told that since the boiler was wet he couldn’t clean it and refused to take any money from me for the service call. I will use them again in the future.

Their pricing is pretty fair except for the filters. At least on the model I have I have to tell them to bring a filter with them at the right time because they don't necessarily have it. So they do have to come back and bring one out which tends to be very pricey where you can do a lot better going to local stores and getting the filters for a lot lesser than if you get it from them. You'll probably find that if they have to provide the filter it's going to be quite expensive relatively to what you would pay for if you were to go to a home improvement stove to get the filter. Usually the best price is if you have a coupon but they make the coupons readily available so in some way, shape or form you should have one because their pretty liberal about making sure that the coupons are in different flyers and magazines. There is always some way of getting a coupon for them and that's where you get their bigger price in them otherwise it could be a much higher cost. Their work is good but unless you know enough to have your own filter and to have the coupon when you call is not you could end up paying a lot more than you think.

Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning did a very good job. The problem was due to something I had done with the thermostat. He was very nice and when I asked him about how my furnace, he told me that it had looked brand new. This opinion was the opposite of what another company had told me. He gave me good advice about the filters to use. I plan on calling them again for the next time.

It worked out perfect. Their company is in the neighborhood and I have seen them around and I have done my research on them. They have been around for a very long time and seem like a trustworthy company. Compared to the company I went with prior, there is no comparison, they are outstanding. I chose them because I did my research online and they were credited by the Better Business Bureau. They received good consumer response back. They did the entire job for $449. Their pricing was pretty reasonable.

My furnace stopped blowing air on Friday night. I waited until about 9:30 AM on Saturday to call Four Seasons to see if they could send a repairman. To my surprise, I was told the repairman would be at my home within the next 3-4 hours. The repairman was called ahead as promised, and showed up well before the 4 hour tine window was up. He tested all part of the furnace, and quickly came to a diagnosis of the problem. I was a bit concerned that he did not have the proper circuit board for my unit with him on his truck. I was impressed by the fact that he kept calling Four Seasons company contacts to not only locate the part, but also ensure that another technician would be back to my home the same day to complete the repair. I am very happy to say that the second repairman showed up just an promptly and with the same professionalism as the first. The unit was fixed, putting our minds at ease about not having to endure the weekend without a working furnace. I was greatly impressed by the flat rate on the service call charge on the weekend. Four Seasons was not my first call, however. I originally called a HVAC company that I had typically used in the past. However, their weekend rates were double their weekday rates. Because of this, I turned to my Angie's List account to do some quick research. I found Four Season was not only rated highly, but had great rates as well. I can thank Angie's List for helping me pay for my annual subscription with just one service call, and for helping me locate my new HVAC vendor of choice. Four Seasons more than lived up to the rating they have been given in the past! Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company!

The service went very well from start to finish !! The salesman came out and was very nice, he gave me a quote and made me feel like I was important as a customer. I gave the company a date to come out and install the furnace that was quoted to me and they showed up on that date and installed the furnace with no problems. Had 4S inspect our furnace. They found a crack in the heat exchange and gave us an estimate to replace the furnace. I reviewed furnace options online to decide between 3 furnaces. Price seemed more than reasonable. We called the next day and serviceman was able to install same day. Service was punctual and professional. Humidifier needed to be replaced as well. I just wish i would have known about the extra cost of the humidifier ahead of time.

Recently had a duct cleaning performed by Four Seasons Home Services, and the overall experience was great, they were on time, they worked hard and in a professional manner the entire time. They made sure that I was satisfied with the work they did. All questions I had they were very helpful with, and they seemed to have all the answers. And what I was nervous about in the beginning was up - charging, and Four Seasons did not up-charge me at all. Great Company will use again.

They were very helpful. They came out when I wanted them to and they gave me a free quote. They also helped me out step by step. Now we have great windows and the kitchen looks wonderful.

The project went as smoothly as one could expect considering the age of the house. The first issue we encountered very early on in the project was a structural load bearing issue by virtue of removing a small pantry in the existing kitchen. My first thought was "great, we have to rework our kitchen design". But Four Seasons had the expertise to immediately find a solution to redistribute the load according to code, while still allowing us to retain our original kitchen design plans. This gave me a great sense of confidence in their ability for the remainder of the project. As expected, the house yielded many other challenges along the way, but Four Seasons kept me informed almost daily of any issues, offered potential solutions, and cost estimates for any "extras". Together we discussed advantages/disadvantages of all the options before moving forward with any additional work. It was a real pleasure to know these guys seemd to care as much about this house as I did. Their professionalism, workmanship and courteous nature was an overall wonderful experience and wouldn't hesitate to utilize them again on any other projects.

After several rather annoying phone calls to other companies in the area, I called Four Seasons Home Services to inquire about their window installation department. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was friendly and knowledgable without being overbearing. I decided to purchase my windows through them. On the day of installation the workers arrived on time and were extremely professional. They worked quickly and efficiently, yet took the time to answer any questions I had for them. I am very happy with my new windows. They look beautiful! I was also pleased to find out that Four Seasons offers a wide variety of home services. I will definitely be calling them again in the future.

Our house has 2 furnaces and 2 a/c units. Four Seasons replaced one of each for us in prior years, and they've been doing the maintenance for us. We called and the same salesman we've had before came out. He gave us a very good price, and that was before he was told we were talking to other contractors. When I called Gary and told him we wanted them to do the job again, he set up the installation for me after I told him when I was available. The two gentlemen who came out were very conscientious, polite and neat. They did a really great job, and listened me when I talked to them about where the exhaust and intake pipes needed to be. It was a long day, and they worked steadily, and did a great job. They cleaned up everything when they were done.

Everything went very well. The workers were at our house almost 11 hours to put in our new unit and to make sure all was working well. Everyone we spoke to at the company was professional. They even had someone do a follow up phone call to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Very good customer service.

This was the first time I used Angie's list to find someone to do an annual check up on our furnace and Four Seasons was great. My appointment time was between 12-4 and Oscar showed up around 1. He was very nice and knowledgable. He made sure to clean up when he was done and was very respectful of our home. I will be using Four Seasons again and I hope Oscar is sent.

In a matter of 3 hours, Four Seasons Home Services removed my old windows and installed replacement windows. The rest of the day, and the following morning was spent on wrapping the outside frames with vinyl. I am thrilled with the service and the product. Installers arrived on time, worked very quickly and I got the feeling that they enjoyed the work they do. The workers clean up perfectly after themselves-- not a scrap of wood or a stray nail anywhere. I didn't realize what a difference the new windows would make. They open so much easier, there are no drafts, they're very easy to clean, but what really hit me was when my neighbor fired up his (very loud) muscle car and the windows didn't rattle!! It's much quieter in the house. We opted for a wood grain vinyl finish for the kitchen and living room since they are the most visible. They match very well to the existing woodwork. We had white ones installed in the bedrooms. The bathroom is tempered, obscure glass.

I had an all around great experience with this company from start to finish. Our furnace went out due to a faulty ignitor so I called to have somebody take a look. The technician was extremely prompt in arriving to the home - this was a Sunday night. He confirmed my suspicion about the ignitor and upon further inspection saw that the motor was cracked, and then after looking deeper found a cracked heat exchanger. He was very good about showing me exactly what the problems were and demonstrating them to me. Well, a cracked heat exchanger means I had to get a new furnace. This furnace was past its lifespan, so these problems were not unexpected. He worked with me on the price and said they could get it done that night if I wished (9pm). I decided to hold off until the next day in order to get another estimate since this is a big ticket item. After getting a comparable estimate (from A.W.E. who I did not have a good experience with - separate review to come), Four Seasons again worked with me on the cost, and was able to get the installation started within 2 hours - wow! The installers were polite, explained everything thoroughly, and cleaned up nicely. I will absolutely call Four Seasons again when I have future HVAC needs. The A rating on Angie's List is well deserved.

I was called before the technicians arrived to let me know when they would be at my home. When they got here they explained to me what the process was and I showed them around the house. They setup their massive equipment and showed me how the process worked along with explained the filtering system they use (impressive). They were at my home for 2 hours and were very thorough in their work. They went to each duct and cleaned them with their system, dust each vent and shop vac'd each vent too. After they were done working they showed my wife and me what they had captured in their filter. Although we couldn't see all the dust they collected there were many other materials in their system, even a roll of tape. I will say I was skeptical of having this service performed, and it is truly hard to realize the results right away, but I am pleased with Four Season's as a company. I was impressed with their professionalism and work ethic. Four Season's is a great company to deal with from their office staff to the employees who have come to their home. Thank you Four Season's.
