Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

Called in for service on Friday evening & had an appointment set up for the following day (Saturday). After inspection, I was told that the AC motor went out & the technician would have to get the part. I'm very happy that the tech received the part & repaired it the same day especially on Saturday.

They were very professional and courteous, showed up right on time. The person looked at one room and told me exactly what package they would give me and gave me the price. It seemed very "no-nonsense" and I'm sure they would have done an excellent job. I was very happy until I had a second provider come in for another estimate. The second provider did a thorough measurement of my home and offered a higher quality model of the same brand at a lower price. When I notified 4 Seasons that I was going with the other provider, they did offer to cut their price by $500, which would have made it the same as the other offer, but for a lesser quality model of equipment. I know the objective of a business is to make money, but I guess I just felt that if they could have offered me a lower price they should have just done it in the first place. In other words, they would have taken my money if they could have.

Came earlier than told, stayed late and cleaned , GREAT alround service!!!

They were prompt and reasonable priced. They also cleaned up very well after their work.

The tech. (John) was very professional and answered all questions. We will use this company for all future heating and AC work and purchases.

The house wasn't cooling because the vent was completely clogged! I had my floors refurnished and did not think to replace the vent!!! They could have charged me an arm and a leg for the visit. I ended up getting the units charged and was very happy with the service. The provider got to my house before I did. I was stuck on 55 because of an accident and the provider could not have been more understanding. He explained everything clearly and was very nice. The scheduling was dead easy and they were out quickly with out charging emergency response time!

It went terrible. The cost was comparable to other places, but when we asked questions to the salesman he was not very nice. I understand that we do not know all about air conditioners and furnaces, but that is why we were asking questions. We won't be using them for the purchase of our new items.

Scheduling was, services were performed professionally, and price was in line with other service providers, since thorough duct cleaning is only needed every 5-10 years. I would definitely use them again.

They are on time. They do quality work so I do not have to worry about it. They are an excellent company and so far no problems.

Extremely professional. Ryan, the Director took care of every detail. He had several tools to surprise in order to get it done quickly. Beautiful windows! Wonderful service!

It was excellent. The guy who installed it said he's going to stay until he gets things done and he was there. They started at 8 in the morning until about 10 at night. They had a trainee that's why he took him along, and it didn't bother me. The price is about the same as everybody else.

The brief answer: Old house, unforseen problems. I'm sure glad I went with Four Seasons. They were able to handle the different challenges that arose. It took longer then expected but Jeff Vida was very apologetic and did everything he could to make me happy. They were awesome. I manage teams globally and I can say that Jeff and his team were outstanding. Detail: I am very particular and this was a tough job. It's an old house and high efficiency furnaces require both intake and exhaust via PVC out of the house in lieu of my chimney. The water heater exhaust was tied into same exhaust as the furnace. This was no longer a workable solution and Four Season's did everything they could to make it work. When the proposed solution failed, Jeff Vida, head of sales, called me directly to tell me what was happening, apologized and worked another solution and provided me compensation for my trouble. He treated me the way everyone says it should be done but few do, and he kept up with his excellent service and problem solving throughout the whole project. None of it was their fault but since they had made a commitment, they stuck by it. In the end a liner was used for the water heater (and i have a chimney that required a 50 foot ladder) and they accomplished that piece of the project. in terms of furnace and air conditioner, their tech (Brian) is top notch. We talked about the pro's and con's of entry and exit points. He made it all as invisible as possible and his craftsmanship is second to none. In addition, I'm tall, so having pipes that reduce headroom was not desirable. Brian figured out a way to put the PVC in and maximize my headroom. The works is so good that other service people have commented on what a nice looking job it is. I could go on but I'm so happy that I chose Four Season's. I did a ton of research and all the reading I did said pick any of the name brand mechanicals, but find the best installers you can. I'm sure glad I did. Not only did I get fabulous pricing, but a great install, and a company that could handle the unforseen circumstances and the head of sales not afraid to reach out and tell me what the score was and what they were going to do about it. I wish all companies worked this well and I got to work with more companies like Four Season's. I'm in the Western Suburbs, Curte Stowe is the salesman I worked with and he was outstanding as well. He always responded as well. Great company. I could not be more satisfied.

The service guy & his trainee arrived within the scheduled 4 hour window they said they would. They wore booties inside my home and were always cordial and friendly. Original charge to show up at my home was 85 bucks. He took off the compressor cover, spotted the capacitor was bulging and gave me quote to replace and additional 236 bucks. He the checked my Freon(was OK) and di a few temp tests. I am happy with the quality of service.

Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning are really good. They came out and did such a good job. They were really professional, nice and helpful. They're so careful and did a really thorough job. They took their time with you and explained real well what was wrong and also what I can do for maintenance.

Went well as usual....Four Seasons is probably a little more expensive than many, but they do a really Great job.

They were a good company. There were a few vents the weren't tight but thats it. I thought they were a little on the high side but they did a good job. They were on time. I would use them again depending on estimates of other service providers.

I called Four Seasons based on the reviews on Angie's List in June 2011 because my A/C was no longer cooling my condo. The guy that came checked my unit and said that I just needed a new filter. He later changed his mind and said that the freon was low. In my opinion, he didn't really know what he was doing and was uncertain about what was wrong. But once the freon was replaced, the unit did seem to cool and the repairman was on his way. Less than 2 months later in August 2011, the same issue arose where the A/C was blowing, but no cold air was coming out. I called Four Seasons again, since they mentioned that they wouldn't charge me the visit fee if they were coming out for the same issue. When they came, the A/C was running, but when the repairman went to see the unit, he said that the A/C was no longer running and he would need to replace that part that ignite the A/C again. He also said that the part was $300+ and that he would not be able to diagnose the problem unless the A/C was ignited. I asked him to explain my options and all he would say was about how I would have to replace the unit and didn't go through any other options. He also charged me the visit fee, because technically he was coming out for a different reason, the igniter was broken. It didn't seem to matter that the igniter *was* working before he came, however, and he wouldn't leave until I paid the fee. I think Four Seasons doesn't know what they're doing. They gave no helpful information and they can't even guarantee their work. If I took my car in for repair, I wouldn't expect the same issues to arise less than 2 months later. I don't see why this is any different. Beyond that, their professionalism was horrible, they were late to their appointments, and they could never give me a straight forward answer. Though this is a leap and based on the 2 visits, I wouldn't be surprised if they "broke" the unit to get more money out of me. I would never, ever use them again.

Prompt, timely and clean workmanship. Unfortunately, one of their worker's fell through our ceiling. But by the next day 4 Seasons had their carpentry team out to repair the drywall and within 2 days, our room was back to normal with minimal inconvenience to us and more importantly no cost to us. The service was completed the next week. All the staff was very kind and the carpentry staff went out of their way to make our ceiling back to normal and you could never tell now. We would gladly use them again based on their good service and professional response to problems.

Awesome company, they may not have the best price around but they get it and fixed the system. I have used these folks before, they continue to go above and beyond.

The Four Season's technicians that came to my home were very cordial in fact they arrived 20 minutes early. They polite and took their time to explain to me what needed to be done to fix the AC unit. I had originally thought it was going to cost less to repair it but it ended up costing substantially more. While I think I probably should've vetted more companies before settling on 4 Seasons, I am pleased with the workmanship and most importantly it worked. What I liked most is that they didn't surprise me with any hidden costs or fees. They told me up front how much it was going to cost before they began working on the unit. Overall, they did a fine job and I liked that I received a follow up call from them asking how I liked the service.

The technician did a complete and thorough cleaning of the unit and disassembled the burners to clean. He recommended that I change the humidifier pad once per year as well as the furnace filter. I provided a new filter which he installed. He did not try to sell more service than was needed and I have requested this technician to service my unit in the past.

Technician took too long before beginning actual work. Paused too many times during the repair to talk or venture into other area of the house to look around. I feel the repairs could have taken less than half the time, for less than half the price. When the first estimate for TWO faucets was presented, I decided to have only the ONE faucet repaired. So, after cutting the cost down, the technician offered to do the second faucet for $200. This rather quick jumping around with price made me feel very suspicious of your pricing policy. I DO NOT intend to use Four Seasons Home Services in the future.
