Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

I have been very impressed with every aspect of my dealings with Four Seasons. They answered my request estimate within a day and were able to install my boiler the day I requested. They have called a half hour before arrival and the day before installation. The installers were very polite. The job was not completed today, but they will be back along with and inspector on Wednesday.

Requested service to diagnose the problem in the heater. Pat came to my house and was not able to diagnose the problem. After checking up things he ended up may be transformer may be circuit board or may be something else. I also wanted to get free quotes for new furnace because the old furnace was giving many problems lately and I was also thinking to replace it. I showed the intentions up front probably that's why he was not interested diligently in diagnosis. Then I asked for the free quotes and he gave me the quotes of $4600 and $5000 for two different furnaces. That was my first quote and didn't have idea about the prices. After little research I was able to get quotes of $3300 for the same furnace very easily. Pat called me back to check if I am still interested. I told him he gave me very high quotes and he had some Account Manager called me to negotiate quotes. The Account Manager called me and suddenly magically reduced $1300 to match the quote from other company. That left me thinking that if I hadn't done my research about the quotes they would have ripped me off because $1300 is not a small amount. 10% up or down is acceptable but more than that falls under the category of rip off. Anyways I was able to install new furnace in less than $3000. Moral of the story: Always do your research in buying anything to not to get ripped off by companies like Four Season. And always warn other members about such companies by writing reviews.

Our original service was scheduled for 10/21. The evening before, we received a phone call that our appointment would need to be cancelled and rescheduled due to an influx in emergency calls. We were rescheduled for the following Tuesday, 10/29 and because of the inconvenience, we were told that we would be the first appointment of the day. So instead of waiting 8-1pm per their usual timing, we were told that we would be first at 8am. Note, we also called them to confirm the appointment the day prior and confirmed with them that we would be the first call of the day which we assumed would be 8am since those were the hours provided to us. On the day of the appointment, the technician had not arrived, so we called at approximately 8:30 and were told that the technician was on his way but that they could not contact him. We called again at 9:30 and was told the technician was at our residence. Around 10am, the technician arrived and then needed to return to his vehicle to retrieve a ladder which took an additional 20 minutes. Overall, the service performed by the technician was excellent. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough in his inspection. He has recommended a repair which we have not yet scheduled. While the technician was definitely excellent and deserves a very positive rating of his own, as a company we were disappointed in our first impression of Four Seasons. Their customer service did not live up to our expectations.

Danny was the Four Seasons technician and he did an outstanding job. My appointment window was from 8-12noon and he called at 7:50am to let me know he was on his way. He arrived at 8:30am. We just bought our first home, so needless to say I know very little about the home mechanicals . Danny was very patient and thoroughly explained what he was doing and why it's important. He gave me great pointers on furnace maintenance and what to expect since my furnace is nearing the of its life. Outstanding service by Four Seasons and I will certainly be using them for all our HVAC needs.

Oscar the service person did a great job. He told me what was causing the condensation and water damage on and around my hvac and fixed the problem so that it won't happen again. He also cleaned all the debris from the humidifier which was in bad shape and let me know the proper filters to use with the furnace / ac unit . He was personable and professional. They came out the day I called them . I will be calling them from now on . The service I used before told me they couldn't come out for two weeks . I will always call Four Seasons from now on . We called Four Seasons to provide a furnance replacement quote. The guy called on the morning of the scheduled appointment and was able to come earlier - so thumbs up! The sales guy, Dennis, was very professional and his company offered a good quote for a Lennox furnace. I felt like he asked the right questions and presented a good recommendation and quote without trying to get me to buy anything more than I needed. The Lennox 20 year furnace heat exchange warranty was very attractive, but ultimately we went with abt which was running a promotion on Trane furnaces. The Lennox quoted was in line with the Trane and Bryant quotes, though a bit lower. The parts, labor, and heat exchange warranty on the Lennox are better than on the Trane models. I would certainly recommend Four Seasons when you are seeking quotes for a new furnace - they are a top Lennox provider and seem to be a well run HVAC company.

I had to have 2 people out the same night because the repairs that the first guy did lasted about an hour. The first guy replaced a flame sensor that was interestingly broken off when he removed it. He then made a big deal about checking for gas leaks and carbon monoxide. This was a nice service but as I found out it may have been a cover for his not completely knowing what was wrong with my furnace. An hour after he left my furnace stopped working again. I called the office and had to wait 3 more hours for another person to come out. That was disappointing. When the second guy came out he was far more thorough. He took out his voltage meter and checked numerous things. He noted a condensation drain leak that the first guy said was a bad part that would cost $300.00 additional. Rather than just replace a part that was not defective he investigated and determined that the drain line was clogged and not a defective part. The furnace stopped leaking and has been working with no issues first. I certainly prefer the second techs process of diagnosing the problem rather than just start replacing parts. I am sure that the company prefers parts to be replaced to gain more sales but ultimately I would probably not use them again because of this. I am not even sure that the part that was replaced by the first guy needed to be replaced.

I called them at 10am on a Thursday. The worked me in that afternoon between 1-5pm same day. They diagnosed problem and explained that they could not repair unit because of damages to furnace. They were able to schedule a same day installation of a new furnace. They worked until 11pm to finish the job. Amazing!!!

Everything went fine. I would hire them again.

Tech was professional and timely. Furnace install went fine other than a little bit of mess (debris, dust) left to clean up.

TOTALLY INCONSIDERATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL !!!! On Friday morning, between 9 and 10, I called Four Seasons to make an appointment for a technician to check my furnace. The igniter would not kick start the burner. The person who took the call said, "Your technician will be at your home bewtween 2 and 6, this afternoon." At 5:55pm, after WASTING MY WHOLE DAY, I called Four Seasons to ask if they were coming to my home. I told her I hadn't heard from anyone and.............. The scheduler told me to hold and they called the technician to find out, When she came back to the phone, she said, "I'm sorry, he is running late and YOU'RE NEXT IN LINE." I then asked her to call the tech back and have him give me some idea how long I should expect to wait. The scheduler came back on the phone and said, 'HE CAN'T TELL YOU THAT BECAUSE HE DOESN'T KNOW,....BUT, YOUR NEXT IN LINE !!" NOTE TO FOUR SEASONS: Shame on you for having a technician tarnish all of the Angie's List Awards that you have been given. Teach those guys to call the people they schedule, at least an hour before they are coming and to keep in touch with customers....especially new ones like me, if something comes up that detains them. MY FIRST AND LAST TIME CALLING FOUR SEASONS.

I really like that they gave me a 0% interest for 36 months in paying the bill. They got the job done in about 3 days. They cleaned everything up and it was very good. I had no problems with them at all.

Called. Advertises 2 hour response. Could not come out until next day. Visit would cost $85 even with no service rendered. Then the service call. Did not use because of the fees and the wait time.

I am not sure this company even needs another "A" review, but felt compelled to provide one. When my furnace failed, Four Seasons came right out and identified the problem. When it was determined that my furnace needed replacement, a crew came and worked through the night. Unfortunately, the furnace would not work properly after installation, but the next day a manager was sent to see what was going on. I was not charged for this extra visit. The manager identified the cause of the downdraft right away. (I had accidentally switched on the large whole-house fan in the attic, which created a downdraft in my chimney). Now the system is working beautifully. I have used Four Seasons in the past, and would definitely use them again.

Everything worked out fine. They did their job.

I have been using this company for a number of years now, and have found them to be very responsive. Once I had to call them late at night because the furnace went out. They sent someone out around 2 am, and got it up and running until it could be replaced. (It was below zero, and I was VERY grateful!) Also, if you do annual maintenance, and something happens after that which wasn't caught on the annual visit, they stand by their work. This has happened to me only one time, and they did not charge me for the call. I have been very happy with their services. They have replaced both my central air and furnace, and I would certainly recommend them. Originally, I found them because my neighbor recommended them to me after several bad experiences with other companies. Their customer service is excellent, and regular customers receive notices of discounts. I've probably used them now for over 10 years, and I've been very happy with their HVAC services.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. We have 4 units so I purchased 4 of the deals. I have used them again. They took plenty of time and they were very thorough. It was a very good deal.

The man did a good job of cleaning the furnace. However, he did not clean the watch glass that shows the water level which required him to take it apart and put it back together. He also did not adjust the pilot light. I had to do that myself.

Four Seasons provided a quote and subsequently installed a new air conditioning unit. The price for the unit and labor was very competitive. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. The installation took quite a while (nine hours) but was well done and the new unit works great.

I still hadn't heard from them on Thursday. I called back and the receptionist told me Scott had passed it along and they would get back with me. I haven't heard anything.
