Mory was great. His earlier job was going longer than expected so he called to say he might be late, and then arrived right at the scheduled time anyway. He diagnosed the dryer vent issue (a flexible vent where a firm vent was necessary due to the long distance (6 feet or so) between the dryer and the outside wall), and quoted a price. The job was clearly more complicated than anticipated, but Mory stuck by the estimate even though he spent much more time than expected in a much tougher crawl space than expected. He is an expert and I was confident he knew what he was doing, and the final product works perfectly and is safer than what we had before.

I had two problems that led to needing the service: 1) the dryer was taking longer and longer to dry clothes and 2) recently the carbon monoxide detector went off and the fire department recommended I get somebody in to do a vent cleanup. I looked on Angie List and called Dryer Vent Wizard for service.
I got an appointment for about 10 days after I called.
I was able to get an Angies List discount which was nice. Mory cleaned lint inside the dryer, replaced the broken vent hose and cleaned the dryer vent up to the roof, where my exhaust vent was located. He also recommended I keep an eye a couple of hoses for the washer as they can need replacement in time as well. The entire appointment took less than 2 hours and everything was cleaned up before he left.

Maury was a complete professional. He arrived on time and fixed our issue for the quoted price. After he had already left, I changed my mind regarding how far away the dryer should be from the wall. He returned free of charge, and adjusted the dryer exhaust pipe so that the dryer could sit closer to the wall. He was completely reasonable about this, there was no extra charge even though he had to come out a second time (due to my change of mind). Just a great, customer-first, experience.

He did a great job cleaning but did not reattach the dryer properly so that I could not use it. He came back twice but did not know how to do it. I finally called ABT Appliance Repair who adjusted it with no difficulty

I called the provider and scheduled an appointment for the day and time I wanted without any trouble. On the day of the appointment the provider arrived on time, inspected my dryer and the vent, gave me an estimate for cleaning, and cleaned the dryer lint trap and the dryer vent all the way to the exterior of the building. He was professional, quick, and did not make a mess. This is the first time I've every had my vents cleaned so I guess I don't have a great idea of how much it costs, but it seemed a bit high. The only thing I wish they could have done differently is when I called to schedule the appointment the person I spoke to couldn't give me an idea of how much it would cost. I understand that it varies depending on how dirty the vent is, how long it is, and how accessible it is, but I just wanted a range. However, I was very pleased overall and would definitely use them again.

It went great. The initial problem was that our dryer wasn't heating, so we had an appliance repair technician come check the dryer and he informed us that it was working fine. He suggested that it was most likely an issue with our dryer vents needing cleaned. So, we contacted Dry Vent Wizard and spoke with Mory Matias. He was very patient and explained details of the cleaning very thoroughly. He advised us when we should have them cleaned on a regular basis to prevent this from happening in the future, as well as to prevent fire hazards. We found out that dryer vents should be cleaned every 3-4 years. They did a really great job.

Mori arrived on time and proceeded to inspect the outside vent. This took some time as I was unable to get access to the side roof so the inspection was done from the roof of the building and by window. The vent cleaning itself took a little over an hour and was done very well. I was concerned that we would have a lot of buildup of lint because I don't think the vent was ever cleaned in the last 7 years but Mori told me that it was not even close to being at a dangerous level.
