They were a good service provider.

They came out very quickly after my call. The salesman gave me the hard sell on using virgin vinyl and said if I signed that day he could give me a great price but it was only good for that day.  I turned him down and did some research.  It turns out that virgin vinyl is no different than regular vinyl and they give this hard sell to everyone.  I wouldn't have given such a bad rating if it ended there.  This company calls every three months and asks if I have any home repair work that needs doing.  Do not call this company unless you want constant calls for more work!

The overall experience with Diamond Home Service was a good one and I would definetly call them again if I needed anymore work done. My windows have made the front of my house look so much nicer. I am very pleased.

Diamond homes had replaced my roof and so I asked them to do some work in my basements and the garage. They didn't complete the work and didn't keep their word on the job. They are still calling asking me if I need any new work done, as if they do not have their paperwork done knowing that they have already done work for me that hasn't been completed. I think that a company should be more professional and should not give out falsified statements saying they will complete a job and then not do so after receiving payment for the job..

The rep came over and just wanted me to sign up for windows and other services on the spot. I felt very pressured. When I asked questions, he kept saying that it doesn't matter it will be okay. When I told him I didn't have enough information to make a decision, he just walked out. didn't even say goodby or close the door. I couldn't believe it. Very UN-professional. I called the company to complain, and they were supposed to call me back with an update and any training or repremand, but I never heard from them again.Would definitely not do business with them.

Great! They arrived early and promptly each day and even worked a half day on Saturday. Personnel were very professional and polite, always available for advice which we often needed. Clean-up and removal was thorough and complete each day and by the end of one week our new bathroom was finished to our imense approval. Fit and finish of all work done was remarkably precise. These people cared about the quality of their work and it shows! We loved the results and plan to have them do additional projects in the near future.

Work was on time and painters and carpet layers' would would do that little extra to make everthing look better

They had cold called us saying that they were in the area and would could stop by and give a no obligation free estimate. We do have some work we want to get done so we agreed to have them come out. The appointment process was great. When the salesman showed and we started going over the projects he wanted to make the projects bigger. For example, when I mentioned the plumbing he wanted to remodel the whole bathroom. He would not look at any of the work to be done until we told him our budget. I explained we are in the process of getting estimates so we could establish a budget. He then told us he couldn't work with us and left.

We did receive quotes from other companies and one company gave us a quote for $24000 without materials. We haven't yet got the work done and we haven't had any problems with anyone. They were great and responsive all the 3 times I had them come out. They have been very nice every time they came out.

They made a mistake and it took months to try and the agreement on the materials that could be used. It was incredibly stressful and we were extremely unhappy with them. Their price was good; however with all the problems in mind I would rate them low. They were extremely hard to get hold of.

The first time the windows were delivered, one was the wrong size, several didn't have the grids and many of the screens were not full screens as ordered. It took several phone calls and several visits over several months to get the order completed correctly. I would have to follow-up at almost every point to get them to correct each problem as it arose (I would think they were having the correct size window (or grids, screens, etc) being made and waiting for a call to reschedule, only to find out it hadn't been done). I paid $200 down and they did not request the rest of the payment until the job was completed to my satisfaction.

I received a cold call from this company telling me that were giving out free estimates. I replied that I wasn't doing any more work this fall. They said I could get a free estimate anyways for next year. I agreed, and scheduled them to come out that Saturday. Somehow we missed each other, as I was home all day yet they said that no one responded to the door. We set up another appointment the Saturday after. When Mr. Diamond arrived, I told him I was looking for just an estimate and did not want work now. He seemed to be irritated, asking why he came out, and I told him what the caller had told me. He replied, "That's what telemarketers do, they get you to say yes!" He walked away and I felt somewhat bad for him so I said, "Sorry you had to come out here." He turned around and said, "you seem like an educated guy, so here's some advice: if you don't need work done, you can say no." I found this response to be patronizing and unprofessional, as it was his company who convinced me to let him come out. Next spring I will use Angie's List to find a more professional gutter repair service that uses more honest means of attracting customers. I will also take Mr. Diamond's advice and just say "no" if his company or any others try to cold call me.

It went smoothly.

Diamond called my home randomly on 5/2/07, said they had specials going on right now on home improvements. I asked what specials they had, he started listing windows. I asked if they did roofs he replied yes and asked if he could come by the following day to give me an estimate. We scheduled a 4-6pm time on the 3rd, he said he would call two hours ahead to verify and never did. I waited at home until 2pm until bedtime and there was no call and no show. Still have not heard from them.

THE PURCHASE OF ONLY ONE WINDOW WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR THIS COMPANY. SOME OTHER COMPANIES DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH SUCH A SMALL ORDER. THEY WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING IN REGARDS TO SCHEDULING THE INSTALLATION. INSTALLATION OF THE WINDOW WAS DONE QUICKLY WITH NO PROBLEMS.
