When doing the estimate, Adrian was the only one (out of 3 estimates) who actually bothered to get on the roof and inspect the flu liner (another company told me I'd need to replace it for $1000 without even looking in it). He said the liner was fine, just a problem with too many turns in the smoke pipe. He even taped up some duct joints and cleaned up some soot at the bottom of the flu, free of charge. After getting other estimates, I called back to schedule the work. The earliest he could get out was a week later (but it was just starting to get cold at night so of course they were busy). When the day came, he was at another job and unable to make it until later. Later, he found that he'd gotten the wrong gauge of pipe so we rescheduled for the next evening. Those were the only hiccups. The next evening, he arrived promptly. He did the work well and explained what he did. He stayed even later making sure everything worked right and fixing a surprise problem with the thermostat. He's also a nice guy. I'd definitely call again.

A/C unit not working and I was very unhappy with another company we used so I checked the list and found ADI. Adrian with ADI is great! Not only did he come out around 6:00 pm for a service call (other company's were telling me it would take 3 to 4 days to come out) he was clear in explaining the issue AND most importantly the options for our A/C unit. He checked for leaks, added freon, and while unit started to work, during the night it stopped. On Saturday, Adrian sent 2 guys out ASAP and the problem was solved. He also called to follow-up on Monday to make sure the unit was OK. ADI's workers were polite, great at explaining what is going on, willing to break down costs and best of all, got the job done quickly. This was one of the best experiences I've had with a repair company.

Adi's is the best! I am extremely impressed that his guy was knowledgeable and their prices were half of the competitors. Speaking of price - here is the story from the big companies in Chicago. After calling the 2 of the large service providers in Chicago, I decided to call a smaller company. I found Adi's from the website of the manufacturer of my furnace AND Adi's is on Angie's List. Adi's only had 1 other review (which was positive). Compared to the large companies, there was no comparison. One of the companies wouldn't give me a quote (unless a technician made an $80 service call) and the other company's quote was $450-$550 for the service. I seriously can't believe they would try and charge me $550. I did some research - the part that was installed only cost $125 - that means the labor would have been $425 for 15 minutes of work. That equated to over $1,700/hr!! Adi's was able to complete the job for $275. If you want reliable service at a fair price...call Adi's.

Adrian was on time, did a thorough job of cleaning, checking, and starting up the furnaces. He charged me EXACTLY what he quoted me before he began the job. Wow, it is always a pleasant surprise when contractors do what they say. I would definitely use him next year.

EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE, INCREDIBLY HONEST GUY. HE HAS NEVER TRIED TO 'UPSELL' US. HE COULD HAVE EASILY TOLD US THAT WE NEEDED MORE THAN WE DID. WE DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT HVAC! HE HAS ALWAYS PROVIDED OUTSTANDING SERVICE, BEEN HONEST ABOUT THE VARIOUS WAYS TO FIX SOMETHING (ALMOST ALWAYS RECOMMENDING THE LEAST COSTLY WAY, BUT MAKING SURE WE UNDERSTOOD ALL OUR OPTIONS.) ADDITIONALLY, HE IS JUST AN ALL AROUND NICE FELLOW. WE GIVE HIM OUR HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

ADI PROVIDED VERY GOOD SERVICE - RESPONSIVE WHEN NEEDED. HIS PRICE WAS BEST IN THE AREA.
