Very responsive; came out the next business day to diagnose and give an estimate. I was able to find the parts on-line for less than their estimate for parts and they were very agreeable to simply doing the installation (and helpful in giving me the parts' numbers). And it ended up that their final billing was less than the original labor estimate plus service charge. I would definitely use them again--responsive, good value, very professional.

My dryer stopped heating, and I needed it fixed. I didn't want to wait the couple weeks it would take to get one of the big "factory authorized" repair guys out, so I called these guys. Right off, they told me what the charge for the call would be, and it's about half what the big guys charge. Bob called me right back, said he'd be here by noon. He called again when he finished the call before mine, said he'd be here about 11:15. He got here on time, was very courteous. He figured out what the problem was in about 10 seconds, told me what the repair would cost, and had it fixed in about 10 minutes. The best part, though, was that he keeps dog biscuits in his toolbox, so he even made friends with my dogs. A very nice man, and a good repairman. You don't get better than this.

Everything went well. My mother was very please with the results and the oven is baking again.

About 8 months ago I had the ignition replaced by another repair company. When the oven stopped working last week I called Aand S instead of the first company I used. I received a timely call back and the receptionist was very professional. The repairman came to my home the following morning, right on time. He showed me the problem with the ignition and wiring and explained in a way I could understand why it failed after only 8 months of use. He replaced the ignition with the proper one for this oven and it's now working perfectly. I'm very glad I don't have to invest in a new gas range, and $173 was a completely fair price to pay for the excellent service I received.

I did not grade the price because I did not compare prices. They were on time, and I am happy with the work. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

Jeff called 30 minutes before the appointment which was great. Jeff arrived on time and got right to work asking me to describe the problem then testing the washer. No repair was needed at this time. The noise I hear is indeed the brake grabbing and releasing as it stops the drum, but it did not need to be replaced at this time--eventually, but not now. It still worked just fine for a 6 year old washer.

I called after hours and my call was returned at 9:04 am the next morning. I set the appointment for the next day when I'd be easily available. Jeff arrived within 30 minutes of the time slot the office gave of 11-2. He came right in. Looked at the dryer. Found the problem that was causing the dryer not to heat. Replaced the thermostat. Put the dryer back in place. All completed within 30 minutes.

I found that the service person was very knowledgeable, came in a timely manner.

Jeff was very polite. He made sure he was not tracking any dirt in the house. He made sure the area where he performed the service was left in good condition - better than when he started.

I called and they sent someone out that afternoon. They had the part with them and fixed it right then. They were professional and knowledgeable about what they were doing. They stayed focused on the problem and got it fixed in a timely manner. I would call them again.

This was a great experience from beginning to end. I called this morning and spoke with the receptionist who took my number for the scheduling secretary to call back. She called back in about 15 minutes and made arrangements for Jeff to come out this afternoon. He was great, checked my washer and discovered what was a very minor problem and explained what to look for if it happens again. He just charged me for the service call and was very helpful. I would definitely call them again as well as recommend them to my friends and family.

The repairman, Jeff, was very professional. He explained everything as he did it. He had the dryer part in the truck and showed me that it was the exact part that was being replaced. In addition to performing the work, he also offered tips that could minimize future damage to the appliances should another flood occur.

Very professional and honest. Advised not to repair machine and buy a new one instead. Would definitely use this firm if I have another occasion.

A and S APPLIANCE REPAIR WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND DID NOT TRY TO CHEAT ME. THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX THE OLD GARBAGE DISPOSAL. THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO CLEAN IT AND KEEP IT FROM GETTING FROZEN UP AGAIN.
