They are capable of doing a very good job, but not at the expense of going into overtime. They made some cuts on site that were wavy, and they cut one of my sink openings too small and chamfered the top of the opening so that the sink would fit, but I had to get creative with the clips that hold the sink down. One of the window sill pieces has an uneven overhang.

Extremely well! All phases went smoothly!

Best part is you pay half down and then the rest after the job is done. Owner is nice and it's a local business. But the final product?  Not completely satisfied, Granite seams are often a point of concern.  How many seams are normal?  How should they look?  The final product is not the same as the display in the showroom.  So please bear that in mind.  Would I use them again?  probably not.  They are the cheapest in the area though, so the decision is yours.

Nothing but positive experience with Granite Factory. Their showroom in Carpentersville was clean and easy to see different slabs in. People were very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Product was cut perfectly and installed without any problems. They also built a very nice backsplash under the window behind the sink. Our GC sent us to them, and we liked them so we didn't bother shopping around on price. We'd done another granite project a few years ago, and their quote was close to what we expected. The sink and faucet we bought from them was also the same price at abt, so I knew they were being fair. Would highly recommend going to see them.

Terry and Sven were awesome to work with. Sven had some very good recommendations for the edges and styles to match our new cabinets better. Terry suggested the island use a mitre cut edge which looks incredible. mite cut costs more but worth it! Also most places don't know what it is or unable to do it. highly recommend this local business.
