They were doing work at our neighbors house, so we asked them for an estimate. They had all the equipment (chipper, truck with bucket, etc) so we decided to hire them. One of the trees they were going to cut down was a large evergreen that was leaning. It fell during some strong winds just a few days after the estimate and was being held up by an oak branch - almost hitting the house. They came out the same day (Friday) to take it down before it hit the house. We were thankful and impressed as to how quickly they came out to take the evergreen down before it hit the house! They came back on Monday to do the rest of the work. There were a lot of guys and they did the work fast! Some of the trees were hanging over the house, and they were very careful not to let anything damage the house. They were all very nice, worked very well together and clearly knew what they were doing. They cleaned up very well and were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely call them again for our future tree needs!

A large crew was able to do the job the same day we called. They came with a large chipper and trucks. They removed the entire tree, ground up the stump, and cleaned the yard thoroughly with rakes. The entire job took only 30 minutes! The crew was very efficient and courteous. The equipment and trucks were very clean and professional looking. I was very impressed and would definitely call Red Oak Tree Service of Carpentersville again if needed.

These guys are terrific. They were early for the scheduled job of taking down a large...........about 35 feet...........ash tree right next to my house. They came with 8 workers 3 trucks and two pieces of equipment and had the tree down, cut up , hauled away and yard cleaned in about an hour and 1/2. They were very fast and proficient. They were much cheaper than two other estimates I had. A friend referred them to me. Wish I had known about them earlier. Will definitely use them again and would refer them to anyone.

The two dead ash trees were down in no time and they cleaned up completely. I requested additional services on site with trimming two additional trees and they did a great job. I was concerned about one of the trees extending over my roof and they trimmed to my satisfaction. They even made a point to request I inspect each tree cut and trimmed a few additional branches that I requested. I was very pleased with the response to my initial call and services provided. Will use them again next year for routine trimming.

We got a prompt visit/quote the day before. Red Oak was about half the price of the big company that says they care for trees.

The crew arrived ahead of schedule and ready to work. The crew was well organized and knew what they were doing. The job was done in a quarter of the time the other guys said it would take. Cleaned up well, I will use them again when needed.

I called and talked to owner Humberto Gonzales, who came at the agreed time; looked over the job, made a very reasonable offer, and I accepted. He offered to come the next day to carry away a large limb that was blown off by a storm earlier in the week. His crew (of 8) came with all the equipment needed, and wanted to do the entire job, to which I agreed. They were all very friendly, many members of the Gonzales family of Carpentersville. They were also very efficient and clearly capable of operating their machinery. I took several photos and a few short videos of the activity. The foreman, Bryan, asked to have them sent to him from my smart phone and I obliged.
If there was a way to give them an A+, I would. I couldn't have been more pleased. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were absolutely great! Red Oak came out and gave me an estimate that was more affordable than 4 out of 5 estimates I got for removing this tree. They showed up on time and completed the work in half a day. The guys were courteous and worked well together in a crowded space where the tree was that was difficult to get to. They not only did a great job on taking down the tree (one other tree company I had out said they and quot;didn't want a job that was that difficultand quot;), they did it quickly and cleaned up the yard and put things back in order including the swingset and fence they had to dismantle to get in and out. They were very professional. I'm glad someone referred them to me because otherwise I would have had to pay from 30% - 50% more to have the tree removed. Great job Red Oak. Thank you.

The tree trimming was performed exactly as I had requested. The price was very reasonable. They were very professional and cleaned up all of the branches and leaves that were on the ground. They called to let me know they were on their way the day of the appointment. I was very happy and would recommend them to anyone needing tree services they provide.
