This was the third time that we hired Lakeside Plumbling and each time they've been total pros, exactly what you hope for when you seek out a vendor. We discovered the company through Angie's List and we're so happy we did! Highly recommend!
While we weren't expecting to pay anything -- thinking that the pipes they installed 11 months earlier shouldn't have any issues -- the price they charged for the visit and temporary resolution to our water pressure problem was also fair, since it had nothing to do with their previous work.
An addendum. 11 months later we called them again because the great water pressure we had been enjoying in our shower had been dissipating. They came out the next day and ascertained that rust had gotten into the valves...rust from our 19-year-old water heater! They were shocked that the water heater had lasted that long, explained that we needed a new one. They were able to clean the valves so we would have temporary water pressure till they came back out to replace the water heater, which was two days later. The reviews for both visits are posted separately.
"Lakeside was out to customer's home on 5/20/15 to install new cartridge in second floor bathroom sink as well as repair a kitchen faucet. Repair was completed, tested and no further issues existed. Lakeside returned to customer's home on June 8th to repair the second floor bathroom faucet due to leaking. This issue was repaired at the time of call at no charge and the technician left it working with no further issues. We made mention to the homeowner that if the issue should continue, to contact our office. We also discussed with the homeowner if leaking continues it would advisable to replace the old faucet due to age and quality of product. Since the June visit Lakeside received no follow-up calls and have maintained that the problem had been resolved and corrected. Lakeside stands behind their work and responds to requests immediately when our clients call the office. Lakeside is a family owned business that stands by their work and provides the best quality service to our customers. If an issue continues after multiple trips, Lakeside will look at all options on our end as well as checking with the manufacturer when covered by a warranty."
L.B and Brian arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem quickly, provided me with a plan to correct problem, and quickly executed the plan. They had to access the pipe in a wall in the laundry room by cutting a hole in the drywall, cut out the bad section of pipe, and replace with new 3" pipe. They then discovered that the pipe leading to the septic tank had a reverse pitch, so they corrected that also. They cleaned up and left only an hour and a half.
Both of these men were very professional and courteous. I will certainly use Lakeside again in the future, and have already recommended them to a friend.
It's been two months and we have not had a single problem with the sump pump. They provided a good product at a reasonable price. The customer service, timeliness and professionalism were excellent.
