We interviewed four roofing companies, all chosen from Angie's List. Moore Construction's estimate was somewhat lower than the other three companies but that is not why we chose them. We had worked with them once before when we had new gutters put on our house. That was a very good experience done extremely well. Moore's representative, Luis, came to our house to see what needed to be done. He was extremely helpful in explaining the various issues regarding the house and garage roofs. We had two major concerns, one was the steepness of our house's roof and the limited access to the roof due to the close proximity of houses on either side of ours. The other and more concerning issue was taking every precaution not to disturb or cause any damage to our neighbors' properties. We received our estimate within one week. The estimate was very clear and understandable giving all the details of what needed to be done. On the day that the crew arrived Luis introduced us to the crew. He then asked to meet our neighbor. He introduced himself to her and explained what needed to be done and assured her that all work that would be affecting her property would be done with the utmost care. She was very satisfied with his explanation and we were very appreciative of this extra measure. Every day the crew always cleaned up everything extremely well. The crew arrived every morning promptly and worked very **** ** our steep and difficult to get to roof. The work site was completely cleaned after every day. We received daily calls from Michael Moore to discuss the progress of the work and explain the steps as they occurred. These calls were very helpful and informative. Mike's concern for the successful completion of our project was very evident. The end result was that we now have beautiful, new roofs on our house and garage. The quality of their work exceeds all of our expectations and the extra efforts they took to assure our neighbor that the work would be done safely and without any disturbance to her really was a great relief to us. The finished project cost approximately $15,000. A very reasonable price for the best results we could ask for. The professionalism, care and concern given by every member of Moore Construction, Inc. easily allows us to highly recommend this fine company.

Moore construction was responsive and professional from the estimate through the installation. They did great work.

Moore Construction is excellent. I talked with several roof repair companies ( some listed on Angie’s list). Moore demonstrated the professionalism, timeliness in coming by to inspect the roof and providing a quote in a timely manner. They clearly explained what needed to be fixed in detail. They also provided a quote showing that there was a warranty on the materials/repairs. They accelerated my place in the repair priority due to my situation. They continuously kept me informed about the status of the repair. The workers who came also notified me that the original builder did not seal the bay roof windows and pointed it out so I could also get that repair done by them concurrent with the roof . They explained the job again on the day they arrived to do the repair. The owner called me personally during the repair process and the workers send photos to the owner to validate the work is done. The Moore Construction office staff is exceptional — very professional, polite and competent. I recommended Moore Construction to my next door neighbor who is also having issues with their roof. This is a top notch firm and I would highly recommend using this firm.

I'd seriously like to know why companies operate in this manner. They hire an individual to take calls and set up appts. and another to come out to look at the job AND THEN NEVER GET BACK TO YOU. I was asked to wait a week for someone to come out. Because I was lining up several estimates, I waited. Their estimator showed up, but then told me it would take several days to hear back. I called back after a week, was told she'd check with Michael. That's the last I heard from them. I had two other companies show up within a couple days or so, showed me samples and give me estimates right there on the spot, even though both had start times at least a month or so down the road. If you're too freaking busy, why do you cause such ill will by leaving people hanging? Just be honest and say from the get-go, "We're super busy and probably can't get back to you until xyz." Instead you choose to show no respect whatsoever for potential customers' time. I rarely bother to leave negative reviews, but you know what, people SHOULD leave bad reviews for such sloppy treatment and those looking to have work done should always read the negatives and leave folks like this in the dust, because they sure don't care about you.

Moore was really responsive throughout the process-answered my endless questions with detailed replies, Very professional at every level. I was really impressed with Marco, the foreman for the job, and his crew.

I had a very positive experience with Moore from start to finish. Moore is a very well-run company. It was easy to schedule a time for them to come look at the roof. I appreciate that Maggie from the office kept me informed on Louis' arrival time when he came to look at our roof. Maggie was also very helpful in getting us a quote for the work before our condo meeting a few days later. Once we selected Moore, it was easy to schedule the work within a reasonable amount of time: early the next month. Louis was the foreman who came to check out the project. I went on the roof with him. He showed me everything he saw and thoroughly explained how it would be repaired. I appreciated his attention to detail. Because he showed me everything he saw, I was confident in the need to do the work he suggested. On the day of the work, I was initially disappointed to see that the foreman was not Louis. The foreman that day was Marco. I went up on the roof with him so I could show him what Louis and I had discussed. It was clear that Louis had communicated well with Marco. Marco knew exactly what his team was supposed to do. At the end of the day, I appreciated that Michael, the owner of Moore Construction, called to let me know that they were finished and that they would send photos of the work. (Because they painted the roof, I couldn't go up that day.) I got pictures of the work and they did everything we discussed. I talked to two other companies, in addition to Moore. Moore provided a fair quote, in line with the other companies. Ultimately, I chose Moore because I got a good feeling about the company from my early interactions with Maggie and Louis. It was an entirely positive experience. I highly recommend them.

The project was completed as promised and without incident. Moore Construction is very service-oriented, and I appreciate that.

It was an estimate for replacement of my gutters. No cost for the estimate. It was a very good estimate but it took 2 weeks to get it back which is longer than I was expecting. The estimate itself was fine. They emailed me 3 weeks after they looked at the project.

They replaced my gutters. They had reasonable pricing and very good quality service. Professional job. They could work on the time it took to get back on the estimate. I would for sure use them again.

Moore construction did great work on the gutters. They replaced our old ones with a wider option to help rainwater flow. They also extended the gutters away from the house. They successfully sealed the skylight and the roof area around the bathroom fan. Of the two leaky windows, one was still not fully repaired after a few rainstorms. I called Moore back and they were quick to respond. We've not had problems since. At that point, they also recommended gutter covers to ensure that the accumulation of leaves (we have lots of trees around our house) wouldn't prevent the gutters from doing the job of taking rainwater away from the house. This was a longer term investment but, considering what I have to pay to get my gutters cleaned each year, I'll knew I'd recoup that money in about two years. The gutter covers are high quality -- the way they're installed ensures they don't fly off in a rainstorm. One other thing to say about Moore Construction: when Michael Moore, the owner, tells you in an e-mail that you can call him at any time with questions, he means it. I visited with him for about 15-20 minutes one morning about the window problem (had my list of questions ready!) -- I called him on his cell phone and he picked up. He seems honest, straightforward and experienced. These qualities make their way through to the company culture. Everyone I met or talked to associated with Moore Construction was like this.

We already had them working on the house and decided we wanted the garage done too. Without batting an eye they gave me a quote on the garage, we agreed, and work began immediately. In all my dealings with Michael Moore he has proven a true professional who really cares about making his customers happy. We love our new roofs and would definitely recommend Moore Construction.

They where on time and helped answer all questions we had. Helped us work with our insurance company. Cleaned up the yard and around the house. Wonderful job would hire them again.

Excellent communication. Informed me of problems they found. Since I had garage roof problems, we mutually agreed not do the garage until I had the roof repaired. They removed that part from the contract with no hassle. I even had a personal call from Michael Moore.

Moore construction came out and did an excellent job. Luis and the workers are great!! They were on time on my scheduled day and it took them a little over a day to replace all the gutters and downspouts. They took all the old gutters back with them and even put back on my old gutter guards. Instead of retorting a downspout they removed it completely. They did miss a lot of nails on the ground probably from removing the old gutters but it didn't take me long to walk around my house and pick them up. I'm definitely going to call them again when I replace all my fascia.

It went well. They came over a weekend to accommodate our time frame. They were pleasant and professional.

We got excellent input from the foreman who quoted the job. He also checked-in frequently during the work. The crew were very experienced and did an excellent job. There were one or two "surprises" as the old gutters were removed but these were handled expertly and without additional charge.

From when Louis came out to give his expert option on the roof condition and solutions to the office staff to the work men. Everything was great. When we had questions or concerns they were addressed in a timely manner. Just this week we had a question about the work completed and someone came right out to take a look. Great group of people working at Moore. Highly recommend.
