BROOKFIELD TREE SERVICE

Brookfield Tree Service was an excellent service provider from the get go. Our situation was urgent because the tree (a 100 year Mulberry tree with a trunk base of at least 72and quot; diameter) was uprooting and tilting towards our and our neighbor's property! Super impressed at the responsiveness. Peter called me back the day I called (a Tuesday) and showed up exactly on time to look at our tree the following day. Originally scheduled the work to be done the following Monday and he ended up coming on Friday because he felt like our job was the priority. Peter and his crew did a great job. They removed the tree quickly and safely, cleaned up all debris on our property and our neighbors. Highly recommend Peter and his crew.

Initiall went well and then the electric utility failed to drop the power line about 2 feet from the trunk of the tree. Peter worked around it and still finished on time.

The crew called the day before and showed up at 7:30 AM. They put down mats so as to not leave impressions on the lawn when they drove their cherry picker into position. They also covered up a basement window with a heavy rubber mat to ensure that they didn't break the window. They were done in a little over an hour. They cleaned up after they left and were professional the whole time. Overall I think the price was better than most. I'm sure if I shopped it around for another several days I could have found someone to do it for a bit less. That said Brookfield was $160 better than the other quote we got.

The tree fell on 7/11 but ComEd didn't cut the power to the line the tree was resting on until 7/15. Peter came out Friday afternoon and the tree was gone by Monday morning (even though they had a ton of work due to the severe storm). It's a small company with good people, good equipment and personal service. I would definitely recommend them.

Brookfield Tree Service Company gave us a good price. The workers who came out were professional. They cleaned up afterwards. I would use them again in the future.

The estimate was almost half the cost of another tree company. They arrived on time and did a very good job on the trees. The crew disposed of all branches and used a blower to thoroughly clean the whole area.

We chose to go with another company, which was a well-rated Angie's List company. Part of the reason was the information we obtained from Angie's List. I had more comfort in the fact that they had a professional arborist. I certainly did not have a bad experience with Brookfield, but they would have been my second choice.

Peter and his crew arrived on time and did an expert job removing the tree. They cleaned everything up so well that you never would know they were there. This is the second tree I have had them remove and I think this company is a pleasure to deal with.

I had two bids about the same amount and went w/Brookfield. I was pleased w/the selection......They were excellent!! The trees were trimmed without damaging homes or other property and the company had all of the right equipment to do the work right and dispose of the branches, etc. They even cut a small tree for a neighbor at no extra charge. Just great customer service.

This service returned my phone call the next day and completed the work in one week. They trimmed several branches from a large tree and cut down and ground down the stump on a small tree in the backyard. They hauled all the branches away and raked the lawn to clean up. The total cost was $350.00. Their price was $1,000 less than another quote obtained for very efficient, good work. I highly recommend them.

They cut down and removed the stump from a overgrown Magnolia tree in our backyard. He had to work around cable and electric lines and did a very good job. Although the weather was not cooperative, we felt he did the job in a respectable amount of time. The crew cleaned up beautifully. The one concern we do have is we asked him to cut 1 branch from a maple in front of our house, and he forget, I called to remind him, and he said he would be out to take care of it. He did call about a week later to say he did not forget, but still has not been out to take care of the branch. Also the weather really has not been very good, so we wait patiently.
