Exceptional! A Patio Dream Come True: A Review of Arrowhead Brick Pavers As a long-time homeowner in Burr Ridge, IL, I've always dreamed of having a beautiful, functional patio to extend our living space and enjoy the outdoors. After much research and deliberation, we decided to trust Arrowhead Brick Pavers with this complex project and are incredibly happy we did! From the initial consultation with Jaime Mayorga, to the final finishing touches, Jaime and the Arrowhead team exceeded our expectations in every way. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to understand our vision and offering expert advice throughout the process. They were always available to answer our questions and address any concerns we had, making us feel confident and informed every step of the way. The workers themselves were a true pleasure to have around. They were always on time, respectful of our home and property, and meticulous in their work. Their attention to detail was truly impressive, and I was constantly amazed by their skill and craftsmanship. They truly took pride in their work, and it showed in the final product. The completed patio is absolutely stunning. It's even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and it's become the heart of our outdoor living space. Amazing craftsmen. The quality and little details definitely set them apart. We wanted to keep our old bricks for other projects, so they stacked them neatly (1,000+ bricks) along our fence. The crew worked efficiently and completed the job in 2 days. Little added touches like replacing the rotted wood behind the step, and putting in an underground drain for the downspout made the finished product perfect, even though neither were discussed in the estimate, and no charges were added. We would reccomend them to anyone looking to do any type of brick work.

Excellent work even beyond what I expected!!! I had my paver patio, curved seating wall, and steps up to the patio door completed by Arrowhead in 2017. The work was excellent and I was very satisfied with their work. Recently, my steps were settling a little and the gaps between some stones were getting larger. It was already a year past the warranty period. I contacted Jim at Arrowhead, and he came out and agreed to cover the work under warranty! Not only that, but he noticed several other edge bricks that were settling. He sent out Trask and Ramone to do the repair. Trask did a super job repairing the steps while Ramone leveled all the edge stones in the two openings. They were done in less than two hours and took the time to go over the excellent work they did before they left. Exceeding the customer’s expectations is often the goal of many quality companies. But this was the first time I can remember when my expectations were truly exceeded! I highly recommend Arriwhead!

Mark and his team at Arrowhead did an amazing job from start to finish! Mark came out and worked with us on different designs for our new paver patio and was great about working with our budget. He was extremely patient with answering questions and responding to our emails with design changes. When the work started the team was extremely thorough and took their time explaining all the steps in the process of removing our old cedar deck and preparing and installing our new paver patio. In the end we ended up having a large paver patio installed along with a custom entertainment wall for our family to enjoy evenings outside together watching movies.This company's customer service and attention to detail is outstanding. We are extremely happy with our beautiful new outdoor space!

I could not be happier with this project. I dealt directly with the owner Mark, and he was tremendously responsive during the entire process. I usually expect a reply within 24 hours, and Mark was much quicker than that. Since I had been burned by the previous contractor, I was a high maintenance client, but Mark never made me feel like one. He patiently explained my options, explained the construction methods, and provided several different options. When the work started, I couldn't believe the difference in the quality and attention to detail. For example, where my previous contractor failed to dig the posts beneath the frost line, and then used a substandard amount of concreted, Arrowhead dug footings a full 48" deep and poured a substantial footing so the posts could be fastened using industry standard Simpson ties. The pavilion itself is beautiful. As I watched the construction I was impressed with the carpenters constantly checking for squareness, and the tightness of the construction. The lead carpenter was also very approachable, and spend some time with me talking about options. In fact, I made a change to what I wanted as far as electrical was concerned, and I was accommodated without question. Finally, as an example of what kind of contractor Arrowhead is, I mistakenly got the pavers wet before the sealer dried. Though it was my fault, Mark made sure it was fixed. His crew also fixed my patio stairs without being asked, and without charge. I highly recommend this company.

Jaime is the absolute BEST!! My HOA was so difficult to work with and he was so patient to go through several changes over 6 months before they approved the project. I think most vendors would have bailed, but Jaime was tenacious and very thoughtful. He listened to the HOA requests and drew up a sketch to meet the requirements. His crew did amazing work to create new steps and landings as well as perform a tune up and reset pavers on our driveway and sidewalk. I would hands down recommend him to anyone doing this type of project.

When I started this project with Mark Dalki from Arrowhead Brick Pavers, I really did not know much about designing a patio. I showed Mark a picture of a patio that I liked. The time that Mark spent educating me on the design and the Unilock brick pavers so that I could make the best choice for my patio was amazing. He always answered my phone calls and replied to my emails with all my questions. Mark would send samples of my selection of pavers to make sure it was what I wanted. I can't thank Mark enough for all his time, effort and patience. Mark always made sure that everything was done right and that I was happy. I have never worked with anyone that was so invested in making sure the customer received what they wanted. The people from Unilock were also so nice and helpful. The outcome was amazing! We love our new patio and firepit!!! Thanks so much to Mark, his crew and Unilock for delivering a beautiful patio!

Arrowhead did an absolutely amazing job on our new patio. They came in, gave us a rendering of what it would look like along with details and a quote, and we couldn't wait to get started. We were blown away with how hard these men worked! They started and completed our beautiful 500+ sq ft. paver patio with a fabulous firepit, seatwall, and pondless, natural looking waterfall in a week and their work is meticulous! They put in lighting, under the steps, under the seat on the wall, and in the water feature. They landscaped the water feature with beautiful plants. Our patio is amazing. I cannot say enough about Jaime, and his crew. I would hightly recommend Arrowhead for your next project. They are coming back in 3 weeks to add a pergola to our beautiful patio. We are blown away!!!!!

Jaime and his team (including Chuck and some really dedicated and hard working guys) did a fantastic job with our project. We had a vision of what we wanted our big backyard project to be and they made it happen. They were accurate when it came down to their start and finish times. They did very high quality work and took the time to think things through before they just laid down bricks. From the beginning (obtaining the proper permits) to the end (final cleanup and testing) they were very attentive/responsive. In addition to the backyard patio project they helped us widen our brick/paver driveway. We would absolutely use them again.

After the great work done by Arrowhead Brick Pavers on our stone patio last year, we used them again this year to completely redo our driveway and walkway in the front of our house. We had another awesome experience with Arrowhead! Special thanks again to Sal for all the advice from start to finish on our project in helping us come up with the perfect design for our project. And special thanks to Juan and his crew for the excellent work on the actual installation of the stones for the new driveway and walkway. We were looking to have a new covered patio installed with a fire feature. We had quotes from several different companies but didn’t feel satisfied with either the price or the company ‘s vision. Then we came across Arrowhead. After reaching out to them, we received a phone call within a couple of hours and had an estimate completed by Jim within a few days. We had a general idea of what we wanted but Jim really blew us away by showing us several different options and photos of some their quality of work to help us visualize the plan. Within 1-2 business days, Jim had our estimate with a couple of different options and a 3D plan. Arrowhead was very reasonable in terms of price when comparing to other companies. After thinking things over, we found an idea of a unique outdoor linear fireplace from a website to go along with Jim’s plan for the patio and pavilion. We sent a photo of the fireplace over to Jim and within a day he had a price which was more reasonable than we expected. Jim also had some great ideas when it came to the design of the patio and pavilion. Work began as expected. Jim did an excellent job coordinating all of the different tradesmen to complete our project (patio installers, carpenters, electricians and plumber). All of the workers were very courteous and the project was completed faster than expected even though the weather wasn’t the greatest. We are so happy with our new patio! I was a bit nervous about the entire project at the start but after we met Jim I knew we were in good hands. I would highly recommend Jim and Arrowhead to anyone looking to complete an outdoor project.

From the first time I met Jaime and all the way through to the finish he was very helpful in guiding me in the right direction in choices of stones to use and colors that would go well with our brick home. The Foreman and workers worked very hard to please us. We are very happy with the finished walkway and patio. Before hiring Arrowhead I had looked at other options, and I was very pleased to find that the cost to do these two jobs was more than reasonable compared to the others. I have already made plans to have more work done with Arrowhead and highly highly recommend them.

AMAZING. We are so incredibly pleased with our experience using Arrowhead Brick Pavers! . Their motto "Creative stone work has always been an art.." is absolutely true with our project. What we had in our mind, which we turned into a unique design is now an actual extension of our home that we will be enjoying from years to come. From the initial consultation, to discussing design changes, questions and pricing to the actual contract, Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. If we emailed or called with questions - he was very responsive and provided great information so that we would not have any concerns with the project (other than hoping for good weather!). When he handed the project over to Juan to begin, it was truly a team effort. Juan and the crew were meticulous in the construction process - the crew worked hard each day to ensure that we kept to schedule. Juan carefully ensured that each paver was laid and leveled and pitched correctly, and while the crew worked quickly - Juan ensured that all of them did keep quality and beauty in mind. When Juan had questions, he would ask to ensure that we would be pleased with the result, and when we had questions, Jim and Juan took the time to talk to us to ensure that we were informed and were comfortable with how to proceed. Jim was in contact each day of the project, either in person or on the phone to keep us updated on the plan, what other contractors to expect and when, and to ensure that we were happy. They also used Dupage Electrical for electrical work on the project (LED lights and additional outlets) Leo and his crew were equally as professional, and work very well with Jim, Juan and the crew. We did receive consultations and quotes from 5 other companies, and are so glad that we went with Arrowhead Brick Pavers. If you are looking for a true partner who brings quality, professionalism, expertise and a beautiful finished project, these are the guys to see -- they really have pride in ownership and service!

They were competitive in their pricing and quoted exactly what I asked for when I met with the salesman. Also they were the only one to draw up a site plan which was very professional. The install took two days and I was at work so I never saw them working but when I came home the site was left spotless and the new patio was exactly like I had pictured in my mind. Can't wait for the weather to warm up to enjoy the outdoor space.

Came out the day after contacting them to look at the site and had an initial design concept and estimate later that day. Updated design and cost quickly after I provided feedback. Ultimately went with a different contractor because I preferred their design a bit more. Pricing was comparable between the two. They made it a tough decision. Very professional!

I would recommend Arrowhead for any paving projects. When we moved in our house, we had an old, unsafe patio that was falling apart and we wanted to replace it as soon as possible. We got in contact with Sal who walked us through the entire process and answered any questions we had promptly. His team removed the old concrete, fixed the grading in our yard, rerouted the gutter run offs and installed a new paver patio with a natural fire pit. They also added some top soil and reseeded bare areas around our patio as extra. We also did our front walkway and some basic landscaping with Arrowhead and could not be happier. Sal was a complete professional and his team was fast and did great work. I would definitely use them again for any future projects.
