Was very professional. Had to order a part but was able to fix it temporary so that we had use of the refrigerator.

Alliance Repair Services/Frank Farhan were excellent. I had a terrible time with another well-rated appliance repair service, so it was a big relief to get a prompt response to request, appointment scheduled in timely fashion with no complications like other company that had a phone service supposed to relay calls to technicians, punctual arrival, quick and courteous repairs. Mr. Farhan was very helpful in general, explaining things to me that no other repair person ever has - about importance of cleaning the dishwasher filter, using dishwasher cleaning solution and where to get it, cleaning stove burner, etc. He replaced dishwasher pump, fixed stove burner and power button on dryer - all for a much better price than I had been quoted by other services.

Farhaan diagnosed the problem quickly--control board was bad. He ordered the part, replaced the board, and cleaned the dust that contributed to the problem. I would highly recommend him.

Farhaan was very knowledgeable and very professional. He promptly came to our house, diagnosed the problem and quickly gave us an estimate and time frame for the repair. Service man came out and inspected stove. He was very punctual and communicated well. Called and text to alert when he was arriving. Very nice and professional. Even put on shoe covers before entering home. After inspecting the stove, the cost of the repair would've been too much and we decided just to replace the stove.

Our 15 year old microwave suddenly stopped working. After calling several appliance repair companies, none of which wanted to work on microwaves, we finally contacted Alliance Repair Services. Frank Farhan got back to us within a few hours and set up an appointment to come out the following week. He was polite, prompt and did an excellent job fixing the microwave. Even though we knew we could purchase a new microwave for less than the repair cost, we like the one we have and doubt new ones are built as well. Okay, after rescheduling a couple of times. He cleaned up sawdust from holes that were drilled in a cabinet. Only took about 30 minutes to complete the work.

It went perfectly. We reached out via Angie’s list message and had a reply within minutes. Service was scheduled for the next day. Troubleshooting quickly identified a failed power inverter board, but also determined that the compressor itself was not damaged and did not need repair (honesty!). He had the part on the truck and it was replaced quickly. In addition, he found a VERY small leak from the water tubing that was only present when dispensing water. This was likely the root cause of the board failure. Awesome work! He also cleaned the coil with an air duster while he was back there. He went out of his way to make sure the fridge was good to go. Highly recommended!!!!

I used Alliance Repair in the past for my refrigerator and was very happy with their service. They were the first ones I reached out to when I had an issue with my washing machine. I have referred them to friends and family. I highly recommend!

We were extremely satisfied with the service we received from this company! When we called initially to explain the issue we were having, they were extremely punctual with their response, and were able to provide us with a time for them to come out that was convenient for us. They knew exactly what the issue was, ordered the new part, and replaced the ice maker in a very timely manner. They even spent additional time looking at one other part of our ice maker for us, even after they had completed the work they were hired for. This company is very courteous (for example: wears shoe covers in the house), professional, and easy to work with. We would definitely hire them again!

They came out the same day, and, after looking at it, told me it wouldn't really be worth repairing, but I could probably get by using it with a few changes on my part. Upon leaving, they told me there would be no charge for the call. It was very refreshing to find a company like this one in today's business climate.

I called the company to inquiring about diagnostic service for my freezer. I explained the issue of my refrigerator was not getting getting cold and that this had been a reoccurring issue. I made an appt for him to come out and inquired about the 10% Angie’s List discount. He said I could use the discount for the diagnostic and the cost would be $60 minus the discount. Two gentlemen arrived for the diagnostic and got right to work. While looking for the issue the two men spoke only to each other in a different language. After about 30 minutes one of the gentleman came to us, pointed at the freezer and said “we need to replace that metal piece”. Usually repair workers are more specific so I inquired what the metal piece was, he pointed again and said “that metal piece and that metal piece “. I again inquired on what the pieces were and he told me it was the defrost heater. I asked the cost to replace defrost heater and he quoted me $380. I asked how long the job take and I was told about 30-40 minutes. Their lack of explanation and the fact that they were telling me the cost for a 40 minute repair was $380 seemed extremely high. I thanked them for their service and told them I would consider my options. I asked them for a written estimate because I was still confused on what work was being done for the price and he filled out an estimate describing the work as “parts and labor” not repair of defrost heater. This also made me suspicious that they were over charging me and did not want me to have a record of it. When it was time to pay for the service I was told that the 10% discount could not be used on the diagnostic call and was charged the full price of the call. A few days later I called them back to schedule an appt for the repair. I was still confused on the service that was being preformed and asked again. This time I was told that the issue was the defrost heater and the thermostat. After scheduling the appt I called my local appliance shop for the cost of the parts both parts together were under $70. On Amazon the parts were about $50. Overall I felt the $380 was a huge overcharge for the service and parts. I cancelled the appt. a few days later my husband got a voicemail from the repair guy saying that they had already order the parts and they wanted to charge my card for the parts! Of course we did not allow us to charge for the parts. I 100% would not recommend their service.

Farhan arrived with another middle eastern fella who appeared to be an apprentice that was told what to do by Farhan obviously lacking experience which is fine so long as someone knows what they are doing. He spent all of seven minutes at my house and speculated that the problem was a gas valve inside the dryer though he never pulled a single tool out to take it apart and visually inspect it. He stood outside my house where the dryer vent is and smelled the gas. He asked me if the clothes are coming out dry and I said that they were. He responded with “eventually that is going to change, call us back when the problem gets worse”. And that folks was his official diagnosis! Do not hire this company they do not know what they are doing I was charged a $60 diagnostic fee and the repair man spent seven minutes at my house. Take a look at all of the reviews here at Angie’s list and ask yourself if these were written by actual customers or the repair man himself? The earliest entry is August 2017 and numerous entries since then, many professionals on Angie’s list don’t have that many entries in a short span of time such as this. I was left on my front porch with a dryer that has a natural gas leak and that was the best he could do if that doesn’t grab your attention then I don’t know what else would! I found a reputable repair company who I should’ve called in the first place after spending an hour at my house and taking the machine apart they diagnosed a completely different problem. If Farhaan actually came into my house with a tool bag and did anything I would respect him a little bit more. The company that sent him “Lisle Appliance Repairmen“ takes a credit card over the phone from you to secure your appointment which is highly unusual. Tread lightly!

Frank was able to come out the next day after I called and was willing to show up after I got off of work at about 7 pm I thought the price was reasonable for the repair

He arrived the same day I called, was able to diagnose the problem immediately and get the refrigerator working on a temporary basis, then returned the next day with the appropriate part for a permanent fix. The part cost less than he had anticipated and he passed the savings on to me. He was professional and courteous at all times, thoroughly explained the problem (which I appreciated), and was willing to work outside of ordinary business hours to get the job done. I would definitely use his services again.

Farhan looked at my dishwasher and informed me although the detergent compartment did not stay closed it still could be used. He also checked the cycles and they seemed to be working well. He told me to call him back if i had any problems or i wanted to replace the detergent compartment. I am very pleased with Farhan and I would recommend him highly and I plan to use, "Alliance Repair Service", for any future repairs.

Farhan called when he was unable to come at the appointed time, then arrived as scheduled. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem with the dryer and then expeditiously repair it. He explained the problem which I appreciated. I will use his service again.

Excellent!!!! Alliance did not give up. It took several attempts to get the refrigerator working. They came each time on time. I have dealt with a lot of service providers, and Alliance ranks at the top of my list. I HIGHLY recommend them !!!!!

Frank was extremely responsive and called back when he said he would. He arrived at my house on time and was efficient and very reasonably priced! He was honest about the washer and the cost of repairs. I would definitely use this service again and I am a tough critic!
