Description of Work: Michael came to my house -- which is amazing in and among itself -- to fix my broken John Deere lawnmower. It turns out I'd used bad gas, so he drained it. He also did much needed service to get it working again.

Unfortunately, that day he was too busy and was only available after 9pm. So we had to reschedule. Once he was here with the correct parts, the snow blower was easily repaired.

Description of Work: I called because my snow blower wouldn't start. He told me he would come the same day. He came and took it all apart and diagnosed the problem. He did not have the needed part with him and even though it was late evening, he went back to his shop to retrieve it because he knew that we are elderly and would need it the next day for a large snowfall and didn't want us to be without it. He came back and repaired it even though it was after his regular hours. I was extremely pleased with his knowledge and his consideration. The snow blower works fine now. I would highly recommend M & M Repair.

In less than 2 hours he had the mower engine reassembled and running great. I would definitely hire him again.

They replaced the whole igniter and so charged me for the labor, parts and service fee. The experience working with them was very nice. They weren?t here very long. They had the part in the car. It was more than what I wanted to pay. When I called, they had actually given me an estimate of $150, but they actually charged me a little bit more. They were good and informative. They gave me some tips.

+ 2 moreThe work went extremely well and Michael was able to fix all the items in question and also found a problem and remedied that problem from the previous work that was done by another handyman. I am extremely satisfied with Michael's professionalism, courteousness, and knowledge. I plan to use M&M Repairs in the future and highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: Repair snow blower, replaced heater element on portable electric heater, switched out a portable wall mounted space heater in basement that was installed by a previous handyman. Mike found that the reason the heater in basement was not working was that the previous contractor installed a propane heater attached to a natural gas line. Michael is a mechanical engineer by trade but works on small machinery.
