Pete did a FANTASTIC job replacing my kitchen sink! He was friendly and very knowledgeable.  He initially came out on Friday and I was hoping that my original faucet could be repaired but it ended up needing to be replaced.  He didn't charge me for that Friday visit but he told me to go buy a new faucet and then call for him to come out again on Monday.  He came out and did the work in a very timely manner.  I hope I don't have any further issues but if I do, I will definitely use Hannah again.  He didn't tell me to say this, but Pete should get a raise!  :) Again, thank you so much!

What an extremely professional group of servicemen. They initially came out on a moment's notice Sat
but because the village did not have anyone on staff to turn-off the main shut-off valve from the street they
eventually had to leave, and they gave us a number to call just in case someone came from the village (who I will not
name but whom I think must have the worst resident rapport in Illinois!)
Finally on Mon we got someone to turn off the main and within an hour Hannahs Plumbing was on site to make the repairs to the shutoff main and fixed the water issue. We then called the village back so that they could turn the water back on to allow
Hannah's plumber to test for leaks. Finally after about an 1.5 hours they  had to leave but gave us a number to call back if we discovered any leaks once it was restored. No problems to report and I certainly appreciate the patience they exhibited during this
process. They will definitely have my business again!!!!!

Good, quality service.  The shower drain was pretty expensive to unclog when it only took 5 minutes but they installed the sump pump on the spot and that wasn't scheduled ahead of time.  Price was fair when combining the 2 services and using the Angie's List Discount.

Performed inspection for us and (correctly) determined that source of odor was residue from a squirrel infestation we had recently dealt with in our attic.  Basically the squirrel had used blown in insulation in the crawl space as a litter box.  When we asked about the charge for the visit, we were told "nothing - we did not do any plumbing for you."   We have had Hannah do a number of small jobs for us (replacing a faucet; installing a kitchen sink disposal, etc.) and have always felt that the work was well done and the price reasonable.  Now this - taking the time to inspect our situation and advise us and then assessing no charge.  As a homeowner of nearly 30 years standing in Chicago, Oak Park and now Berwyn, we have long been frustrated to not be able to find a plumber we liked.  We have had a plumber in Forest Park charge us a $60 visit fee because they dropped off (we installed the part) a "finishing" part for a project they had otherwise completed; we have had an Oak Park plumber send us an intoxicated worker; we have had another Oak Park plumber refuse to do a job for us because they preferred to take a less labor intensive approach than what we needed (and later got a handyman to do for us).  But now we have a plumber!  Highly recommend Greg Hannah!

Hannah plumbing was prompt in their response to our request to come out and review/provide quotes on a couple of plumbing projects we had.  They were educational and upfront on pricing.  We did decide to use them to disconnect our kitchne plumbing prior to a removal of our kitchen cabinets to install a new wood floor.  They also installed shut off valves.

Called on a Saturday needing a plumber has soon as possible to install a safety valve so our new oven can be installed. My call was returned within minutes and someone was scheduled for Monday. The plumber they sent was right on time and quickly finished the job. No issues.

They did okay. I would say they are average. They kind of left little bit of mess behind and he actually left the water intake of valve was off and I had to call him and shouldn't I have this on and he said ya ya it should have been. I would not use them again.

We've used Angie's List to find or see ratings of a number of companies and individuals in the trades and have worked with some great vendors who did high quality work. This was our first negative experience. The receptionist was positive, the availability and punctuality of the plumber was great, but the quality and professionalism of his work was very negative. He and my husband discussed the project before he started, but the end result was not what we anticipated, and it ended up costing more than his original quote.
He did sloppy work - he burnt the inside of our sink cabinet and wood along the base of the wall, he did sloppy soddering and left splotches and drips all over the new floor, which he didn't clean up, and he left his water bottle on the floor. In our prep work, we aligned and laid out a lot of the pipes, cut holes in the floor and cabinet interior to accommodate the pipes, dry-fit the cabinet, but in sweating the pipes, he moved them so the cabinet was out of alignment. We now need to make some adjustments so the cabinets fit.
Lastly, he initially quoted us $250, after inspecting the work to be done, then when done, he charged us $300, for less than two hours of work, after hearing I had a 10% discount from Angie's List. Overall, it was a negative and frustrating experience that caused more harm than good.

Todd was familiar with the cause of water stains on the back wall behind the toilet. He raised the tank top and showed how water is leaving the tank and spilling out the tank reservoir. Because of the discoloration of the wall I feared that there may also be a mole problem.  Thankfully, that was not the case.  Todd explained that the toilet bowl is the original equipment, outdated and no longer available.  However, he said that he would try to locate replacement parts If I chose to stay with the original commode.  Todd, provided options, which explains the price range in this review.  presently, I have the option to stay with the original equipment, or switch the toilet bowl out for a newer model.  But before I made my decision Todd asked that I give him an opportunity to locate parts to the original bowl.  He was successful in his efforts.  Todd called the next day. He was able to locate replacement parts and he also prepared a quote for a new replacement model.  I especially like that Todd suggested that upon my return (I was leaving town the next day) that I stop by a Home Depot or the store of my choosing and price commodes that fit the specifications of a unit comparable to the one I now have.  Todd, was extremely helpful, professional and reliable.  When I am ready to move on this matter I will definitely use the services of Hannah's Maintenance.  I have since spoke to Todd's office informing them of my return and that I will be in touch once I've priced other bowls.

Matt was on time. He finished the job quickly and cleaned up after the work. The bill came in under the original estimate given by Michael. Matt sat with me to explain the ins and outs of the pump. I will definitely use them in the future.

Greg Hannah and his crew do not disappoint.  This was the third job they did for us, and I am again pleased.
We had a slow kitchen drain which we dumbly tried to treat with Drano.  All it did is flush out the gunk that was sealing the 90 year old pipes. If I could post a picture of the pipes that came out I would, because they were just amazing.
We had called Hannah before we saw the leaks, so that was a good thing.  They came out quickly, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the worn out pipes.  They thought they would have to replace more, but were able to fix the one area that was leaking (a cap or something) instead of a huge pipe.  Nice guys, quick, and even helped to teach me where my water shutoffs were.  On top of it, they got along with our two big dogs.

Great, they were wonderful, prompt, and professional. I would definitely call them for other plumbing needs. They were only able to honor one of the discounts but let me pick the biggest one. I don't fault them at all for that.

Todd and Mike came early which was great. Both were professional and down to earth. The problem was assessed and fixed in a timely manner and we were given some good advice. We received the discount for being with Angie' s list. Overall experience was a good one. Thank you.

I called Hannah's because of a leaky faucet and outdated flush system on a toilet.  When the plumber arrived he looked at the faucet and toilet, and quoted me a price; $95 to fix the faucet, $185 to replace the flush valve and flapper on the toilet.  He then extended me a 10% discount for no reason (I didn't request it), bringing my total cost to $252.
The work itself took less than 20 minutes.  The plumber had to leave at the start of the job to buy a replacement stem for my kitchen faucet (he didn't have one on the truck).  He was gone for about 30 minutes in doing so.  All said and done, from the time he first came through the door to the time I paid the bill, about an hour.
I called Hannah's after the fact to discuss the cost of these services.  Getting a straight answer from Michael and Greg Hannah was no easy task.  Basically, I was told that in the future they would have fixed pricing on services such as these, but right now they don't , and therefore bill for  time.  When I asked what their hourly rate was, neither Michael nor Greg would provide me with a straight answer.  Both informed me that they charge based on howlong it takes to drive to the residence, and they also charge for time if they have to leave to get a part (as was the case with me).
Based on my experience with Michael and Greg Hannah, I will not be using this company in the future.  I felt that both of these guys were less than transparent in their justification for the cost of the work.  I also feel charging for travel time and time spent buying parts is not industry standard in the Chicago area, and simply Hannah's attempt to inflate their fees.  I have confirmed this by talking with other plumbers and asking them about their billing procedures.

Tried drain cleaner and hair dissolver with no luck.  Couldn't get snake to work because of the way drain lines were constructed.
Called Hannah Plumbing and Jessie was at the door in less than an hour. He used air pressure to open the line. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes. The price seems high but then I couldn't clear it myself and Hannah's plumbers had the right tools and the know-how to get the job done. That made the cost worth it. Now I can take a shower without having to tread water.
Would positively use again for any plumbing problem.

The two servicemen arrived at the time that had been promised and then introduced themselves to me.  They were very personable and immediately went to work on the installation of the two faucets.  They worked quickly and very maintained a very clean environment.  When they were finished, they removed the old parts from the house and discarded them for us.  Both the father and his son, an apprentice, were very friendly.
