The service was excellent. A young man came out and gave us an estimate and told us that it might take a week for the actual service since it was a very busy time period. We took a few days to think it over and gave them a call. Within a few days they called and told us what day and approximate time they  would be there. My husband was at home when they came and he said it took a little less than an hour and a half to  take down the trees and clean up. The yard was immaculate. The whole procedure from beginning to end was done with integrity and professionalism.

One of the Meurer's visited the property and walked around with me to go over what I wanted to have done and he provided me a written estimate. In a couple of days I had an appointment. The crew was courteous, professional and fast. They were the best, and one of the guys even gave me some pointers on how to control a few unruley vines. The crew cleared, hauled/mulched all debris away. I am very happy with the results--my yards look GREAT!

I called asked for estimate to remove tree, the estimater arrived the next day and provided a written estimate , I accepted the estimate and removal was scheduled about ten days later, The crew arrived on time and the tree was removed in about an hour, the crew completely cleaned up debris - leaving the property cleaner than when they arrived.   Great job!

Tree removals were quick, cleaned up well.   Maple trees haven't looked this good in years.   Very pleased with their service.

They did a good job and they're pretty cheap. We help them with the clean up and we cut the fee down to $125 for 14 trees. We got the older gentleman, I think he's actually the father of the Meurer brothers, he explained to us how often to prune trees and why he was ridding off some branches, he's pretty good, he knew exactly what he was doing, he was done in an hour and a half with 14 trees, and the trees looked a lot better, he did a good job. They do what they do. I guess I called late in the season and they had a million people so it took a little while to get them out here but it worked out fine. I'll use them again, they'll come back in November.

Arrival at our home to clean-up and departure took only 1 3/4 hours--in 103 heat!

It was my second time using them. Their rates were good. They had all the equipment they needed and were in and out.

I contacted Meurer Brothers early March about a silver maple that I thought had a fungus and needed to be removed.  Josh Meurer, arborist and president of the company, came out on March 13, 2012 to look at the tree and give an estimate on removal.  I wasn't home when Josh came by but he left a written estimate for me.  I called the office when I got home to be clear on the details of the estimate and Josh called me back within a reasonable time that same day.  I was told that the maple tree had carpenter ants, not fungus, and could be saved with crown restoration and spraying for the ants.  The mulberry and peach trees in the back yard could be removed for an additional fee not listed on the estimate, but quoted over the phone.  I wasn't given a set time for scheduling the removal of the trees.  I was told "within a couple weeks" which I totally understood as being dependent on weather conditions.  These trees were not causing major trouble and could wait.  I called the office around March 27th to try to narrow down a date for the work to be done so I could coordinate being home.  We agreed to try for April 3rd.  Josh called yesterday (April 2) to confirm the appointment.  Gene and his work crew arrived this morning around 8 AM. They couldn't have been more professional.  Gene's supervisory skills were A+.  He was well aware of everything going on with the crew even while he was up in the bucket truck or climbing the trees to cut.  There was a miscommunication in which mulberry tree to cut  down.  Josh quoted for the smaller tree.  I thought the quote was for the larger tree.  Gene contacted Josh on this and corrected the error, even though I know the expense would have been greater for the larger tree.  I was not asked to pay the difference in the cost.  This really showed me the true integrity of the Meurer Brothers.  The yard was cleared of all debris.  Caution was paid to take care of the flower beds during the entire process.   Their attention to detail really stood out.  All of the guys worked well together as a team to accomplish the job in as short a time as possible.   This is a large company, providing quality tree care and service.  They receive many, many requests for estimates and scheduling is tied to weather. If I had been in a big hurry to get this done, I might have been disappointed, but really, it was more important to me to get the work done right, so the wait was not a problem.  The cost of the service was at the max end of my fixed-income budget allowance for repairs, but I feel good about having certified arborists complete the work and am thrilled that the big shade tree in front of the house could be saved.  The price quoted was fair, in spite of the error, as it's certainly true that you get what you pay for.   I would definitely recommend this company to others.

They were such nice people.  They came out and looked at my issues and gave me some options.  They are arborists so they try to keep as many trees for you as they can.  They were honest about the possibilities of saving a tree or taking it out and told me about the life span of the tree.  He came back out with adequate help when he said he would and took out my tree and left everything neat and tidy in my yard.  They also shaped up one of my trees and made it look much better.  The price was reasonable.  They were professional and answered any questions you had.

it went very well, they got here early, made sure of what trees needed to be trimmed and did the job.  clean up and job was done in record time.

They were very quick and efficient.  Obviously knew their stuff!  They came on 2 different days because they had the utility companies come and mark underground lines/pipes before grinding the stumps.   Their initial estimate was the exact cost.  Very pleasant to deal with and very unobtrusive (unusual because of the type of service).  I would highly recommend to anybody with tree problems!

He gave me an estimate. He came right on time to do the work. He did a great job and didn't put any holes in the ground. He was very professional. He was very efficient and did a great job. His prices were very fair.

They did a great job and they are really, really good looking. I'd recommend them highly. They are nice guys and easy to talk to. They did what they say they are going to do and they didn't leave a mess and respectful. I didn't feel like I needed to get my husband to come and talk to them which sometimes when you've got working people putting stuff around, it's not always comfortable.

They are fabulous. We use them and we use them consistently. We live on a farm and have a lot of opportunities to do that. It is a family owned business. They are always there when they say they are going to be there. They are excruciatingly honest & straightforward. They are really easy to deal with, responsible, and I even feel comfortable with them being on our property when we are not home. They are fabulous. They are also extremely knowledgeable.
