Ehret, Inc. is a full service plumbing company and can professionally handle any plumbing work you may need from new installations to repairs and replacements. We offer high quality equipment and material that is made to last. We also offer trenchless technology and can bore in a new water service without digging up your entire yard! We will also install or repair storm water pumps, lift stations, sewage ejectors and sump pumps. We can take care of gas lines, backflow testing, toilet installations and repairs and outside faucet repairs. Our polite plumbers will look after your home and needs with respect. We’ll cover our shoes and clean up after ourselves. It’s the little touches that can make the difference.

On the day of the service, the office called within my appointment window to let me know that the provider was on his way. About 15 minutes later, Mr Garrett arrived.  He was polite and respectful. He checked the work to be done. Gave us the price for the two options we were considering (basic repair/replacement and extending the line for better access).  Once we approved the option, he got to work. He worked swiftly, methodically, cleanly, and verified with us how we wanted the end result to look. Upon completion, he cleaned everything. Upon payment, we got a receipt on the spot.  Overall, a very positive experience. Definitely recommend them.

This is the second time I have used Ehret, and it went great.  One of the best vendor's I've used in recent years.  My backflow device needed to be replaced, so I used the "big deal" through Angie's list.  Had a couple of miscommunications with the scheduling, but they were prompt and very responsive when we got that sorted out.  The work was completed in about an hour, and they also explained to me how to disconnect the device for storage in the winter time---something the original installer (a different company) failed to do.  Everyone at their company that I dealt with was very professional and courteous.  I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs, and will definitely use them again.

I was told on phone he would call when he was on his way, I did not receive this call, not big deal though, he arrived in the window I was scheduled. When he arrived he put the shoe booties on before he entered the house. He was very nice, patient and understanding to my needs of getting the toilet fixed. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and had all the materials on hand to repair it in a timely manner. Ehret plumber was very kind and explained the problem without talking down to me, I appreciated this. I feel he was honest and did a good job.

First- I will probably never buy an Angie"s list "Big Deal" again. There is not enough detail of what the "deal" is. I purchased a plumbing deal for $39 that was supposed to include a trip charge and $50 credit for work performed. The plumber was sent to the wrong address (companies fault). When he arrived at the correct address he told me he charges $135.00 per hour and asked if I wanted him to do the work. I thought the price was a little high but I needed the work done for a pending sale of the property and I would have been out $39 for my "Big Deal" The above work was done well and completed in under 2 hours. I was surprised to get a bill for $349.85 - $50 Angie's list credit for a total of $299.85.  There was nothing on the bill to indicate how he arrived at this figure.  I called the company to ask for a break down of the charges and was told they do not itemize their bills and that I should have received a written estimate before the work was performed.  I told her I had not received an estimate and that the only thing I was told was that he charges $135 per hour.  The woman I spoke with told me that $135 was incorrect that the charge is $165 per hour and that $135 is their commercial rate. I told her that for less than 2 hours of work at $165 per hour still did not add up to $349.85 unless they overcharge for a wax toilet ring or I was being charged for his time to drive to the wrong address. She apologized for their long time employee who should know and follow company policy regarding written estimates and said she would look into my complaint.  Several days later I received a refund of $75 and an offer of $25 toward future service.  I am satisfied with the $75 refund but still think they are over priced and will not be using the $25 on future service.

I have a pull out faucet in the kitchen sink. It had disconnected, and he fixed it. He also repaired the toilet and installed a new flapper. There were some additional charges, but he was prompt.

The big deal for 39 dollars for a plumbing service call from Ehret Inc was 39 dollars off of that, they were good. He applied the credit. My overall experience with them went really well. He said he would be out the first thing in the morning and he was. He represented himself and his company professionally. He did all the right things you want a plumber to do. He came in and put on those little booties on, in my house he kept himself to the work area and cleaned up himself. To other Angie's List members I would like them to know that they are prompt and very professional. It was an emergency call so the price stung on that regardless.

They were prompt in calling me to set up an appointment date and arrived on time for the appointment.  Plumber was able to give me an estimate and do the work on the same day. Price was much lower than estimate from another company.  Very satisfied with their work and would call them again.

The hot water tap for a bathtub faucet in our rental stopped working. Hot water streamed from the faucet unabated. Thankfully, our tenant had the presence of mind to shut off the hot water at the water heater but this meant that the entire building had no hot water. We found out about this at 5:30 on a Friday. A severe winter storm was approaching and I was concerned that tenants would not be able to bathe (the cold water was far too cold) until the roads were passable again (or until Monday). Ehret's receptionist was courteous and professional and she promptly arranged for a plumber to contact us for emergency service. The plumber, Dave, called right away. He listened to our problem (which had a history of a poor repair done by someone else) and prepared us for all possible scenarios. He arrived on time and got to work. The fix involved the replacement of some gaskets and O-rings. He was honest, capable, and very friendly (which is an important quality for an individual who responds to worried landlords and homeowners). We were impressed. Because we are landlords, we often need the help of reliable service people to help maintain our premises. Trust me, there are a lot of people who will overcharge you when they think that you are ignorant, when they see that you are female, or when they think that you have the money. We were in dire straits today and this was our first experience with this company. Ehret Plumbing could have price gouged us but they did not. I believe that this speaks to their integrity and that of their employees. As a result, they will receive more business from us in the future.
