Turf Care Enterprises Inc is a family owned business that has been serving homeowners in the suburbs of Chicago since 1986. Our company was founded on a simple principle to provide our local neighbors with better and safer lawn, tree and shrub care. We specialize in customizing individual care programs using a natural based holistic approach. We use primarily natural, mineral, organic and reclaimed materials. All our treatments are guaranteed to work like we promise and all are clinically proven to be safer than common table salt. Lawn services include: Fertilization, core aeration, weed, crabgrass, insect and disease control, bio dethatching, slice seeding and more. Tree services include: Fertilization, insect and disease control, emerald ash bore protection, deer repellant, trunk and soil injections, anti- desiccant evergreen protection, air excavation, consultations or diagnosis by ISA certified arborists. Pest control services include: Mosquito, flea and tick control, geese repellants, and home perimeter pest defense. Estimates are free and come with no obligation.

I specifically told them late last year and again in January of this year not to do any treatments on my lawn without my explicit written request. Instead they did a service to my lawn last week, unknown to me until I saw the flag in the yard. I called and told them I had not requested that service. They (Scott Maxwell) admitted that their notes showed they were not to do any services without contacting me first. I told them to please refund the $89. I waited a week, and they did not and have not refunded it, so I had to ask the credit card company to dispute the charge. I'm very disappointed in their failure to follow my instructions, and double disappointed in the runaround they're giving me to refund the charge.

It went well. Because of my pets, the products used on my lawn are not super strong so it took several visits before I began to see the results I needed but I'm quite happy and used the lawn service all summer.

I contacted Turf Care based on their excellent Angie’s List reviews and so far they have exceeded my expectations in every way. Since I didn’t contract with them until late spring, it was too late for the first couple of treatments, so a full year review won’t be possible until 2019. However, the treatments they have done have already begun to improve the condition of the lawn. I included aeration and over-seeding and that is underway now. Beyond the actual services to the lawn, I have found their overall customer service to be exceptional. Beginning with my first call to them and in every encounter since, I have been treated like a valued customer. From the receptionists, to the customer care staff, to the technicians, every individual is responsive, helpful, professional and friendly. Could not be more satisfied!

The weeds wilted and died as if on cue. The grass is pretty green but we will see as the summer gets hot an dry. They combined two visits into one. The price is a bit steep, but that is what I agreed to. I am not faulting them, it's just that is quite a bit more than the competitors. If at the end of the season our yard looks better than the neighbors', it will be worth it.

Weeds were taking over the lawn. There were bare spots and it looked horrible. There was immediate improvement and the lawn was beautiful after several treatments. It was really amazing how the lawn became healthy and how the weeds disappeared. Would definitely recommend them. Our yard is approximately 3/4 of an acre and we had six treatments. Also, they will come back and treat the lawn again if the customer isn't satisfied.

Turfcare has remarkable customer service and a commitment to continual improvement. I can appreciate their more natural approach comes at a slightly higher price. Any issues I have encountered, including 'lawn rust' from my own overwatering, were addressed to my satisfaction.

I deployed for 9-months and wanted a company to maintain my lawn. Turf Care Enterprise quoted me a very good price and I didn't feel like I was being hassled. I just returned and when the snow finally melted I can say I'm so glad I chose Turf Care. The grass is thick and looks very healthy. I had a few bare spots and they are gone. It was extremely easy to set the service up and make payments. I highly recommend this company.

Initially the company had issues with their web site provider, so our original inquiry was lost. Once they realized the problem, their salesman called to apologize and set up an appointment. He came out personally to look at the lawn, along with the technician. They diagnosed the problem, and recommended several steps we could take (either on our own or by them) to improve the lawn. We decided to have them aerate the lawn for the fall, and then start a fertilizer program next spring (about $365 annually) to improve the roots system of the grass. Steve has been helpful and professional.

I have the best looking lawn in the entire neighborhood. It is always dark green and thick. The weeds are minimal, but repeated treatment is necessary due to vacant property with dandelions and other weeds growing nearby. A landscaper from another company was doing work in the yard. He asked who was doing the lawn care, because he had never seen grass that thick before. Another fellow came by in early spring, when the dandelions were actively flowering, and wanted to know what I did to keep out the dandelions, as the nearby vacant property and neighborhood lawns were covered with yellow flowers, and there was maybe one or two in mine. They always call before they come out, and weather permitting, they always show up as scheduled. Overall, I would highly recommend their services.

First treatments were unsuccessful, and calls to the company went unreturned. Finally got ahold of someone. Treatments have been mildly successful. Fall seeding had little to no effect. Their product is supposedly greener, which is why we started with them. However, given that it doesn't work great, I'm not sure I'd recommend it. The service is the real issue.

I have used Turf Care for the past few years and am EXTREMELY satisfied with their service. My lawn looks GREAT! No weeds, thick and very green. My son stated the other day "I don't know what lawn service you are using, but keep using them as the lawn looks beautiful." I am so happy with having such a wonderful looking lawn. The employees are polite, knowledgeable, and always leave comments in a small bag that they hang on the back door so you know exactly what was done and how your lawn is doing. They even blow off the sidewalks and driveway if any granules that they are applying happen to get on them. Do not hesitate to use this company because they KNOW what they are doing and their products work.
