They did a great job. They are very accommodating. They even lent me a brand new Lincoln for the day.

They offer good service.

i had a problem within 2 days of first service.  they took it back and resolved.   work was perform at the crystal lake center.
i thought price was rather high but they did provide a great service.

I think they are a very good company. I was always pleased that they were very professional and very reliable. They would give you an estimate and tell you what needed to be done; they were very straightforward. They didn’t meet my needs as far as location but they are still very good. never have any problems with them. I recommend them.

They started on my car at the scheduled appointment time. After the inspection the service writer went over their recommendations with me. The burned out headlight and license plate bulb I could change myself so I declined those services, but I had them change the fuel filter. I also declined the tire rotation as I planned to inspect the rear brakes that I serviced in April and would rotate the tires at the same time. I thought the transmission fluid should be changed due to age, 10 years, and mileage, 70,000, but he said the fluid looked good and  that it was not necessary. This saved me over $100.00 and I admire their honesty! I plan to return and also take our
other car there when it comes up for service.

Being new to the area have had to use Angie's List and BBB to find new companies and people for all our services. After reading reviews on Douglas Automotive we decided to use them. From setting up appt for estimate to having service done was a great experience. Employees were great, outlined everything that needed done and what they were going to do. What was quoted was what we paid, no hidden or surprise cost. Gave a B on cost because car repairs are always expensive but don't feel the price was over the top or that we were being taken advantage of. Also need to replace a side few mirror and the quoted us $375 but said they'd look around to see if they could get a better price. Contacted us a few weeks later with a quote for $300 for the mirror repair. Setting up appt. to have mirror replaced. We are very pleased with the whole company and the service they performed. Thank you Douglas Automotive for being a fair priced caring company. You are our car service company. See you when the mirror comes in.

The service went very well! They even followed-up to confirm that I was satisfied with the service provided.

EVERY ONE that workd at this company has always been extremely nice, knowledgable and professional. My vintage BMW is now a fairly rare antique, special edition car. As such, it takes some very talented and skilled technicians to analyze its problems (electrical or mechanical) and then be able to obtain the required parts for properly repairing the vehicle. Even if they have to be ordered direct from BMW in Germany.

Over the past several years I have used numerous other auto repair shops that claim they are "BMW Specialists", but yet never truly are as evidenced by the quality of their work, (if they were even able to diagnose the true problem with the car ar all).

However, Douglas Automotive ARE the real deal in my opinion!
 
They are the BEST people to use when it comes to BMW repairs.
 
I highly recommend them and I know they have made a customer for life as far as my family and car(s) are concerned.

They were Real good. Tehyw ere informative. They called when with updates. They did follow up s o see how it was doing. They also reccommeneded some cost savings.

They are the best. It is the third time we have used them. They are very honest, very clean very fair in price. We took our car in thinking it was going to cost a lot of money with major problems. They called back and said we only needed one little thing. They are extremely trustworthy. They get back to you. It is the best repair place I have ever encouraged in my entire life. We highly recommend them. They are everting you would expect from a quality repair place.
