Hi. My name is Scott and I am the owner of Plumb-It Inc. I am a 6 year army infantry veteran and have been plumbing for 12 years now. We are a newer company with low overhead so we can provide you with the top notch service of a larger company without the high pricing. We are experienced with all facets of plumbing to include service, remodeling, and new construction, commercial and residential. Honesty, integrity, and respect are cornerstones of my life philosophy, and I employ these characteristics in my daily work and dealings with people

My kitchen sink was clogged big time. I called Scott yesterday afternoon. He gave me an estimate of how much it would cost maximum if the problem was what my handyman had told me. But also said to me that it sounded much simpler than that and wouldn't even cost that much. He sounded like he knew exactly what the problem was and yes, he knew it in a minute he came down today morning. Scott and James were punctual, professional and friendly. They came here and unclogged my kitchen sink in less than 20 minutes- $200 He charged much less than what he told me over the phone. Also fixed my leaky flush tank -$30. With the $10 AngiesList coupon altogether it was $220. I highly recommend them. We are very glad that we found a good plumbing company to use in future. My kitchen is functional again.

This was our third time using plumb-It. Frantically called them after I took a walk down to the basement and realized our sump pump was not working. Water was everywhere! Scott told me he would be at the house within the hour. He was true to his word and actually came earlier than expected. He quickly replaced the sump pump.

We found Plumb-it through Angie's List and have used them for every plumbing issue the past year and a half

Scott and helper were on time, took their shoes off, was polite. He shut-down, bled-off and inspected the heater, found a small leak. Scott gave us options and we chose the replacement unit that he recommended.  When he came back w/the unit, he identified a small dent in the exterior of the unit. He immediately returned that one and brought a brand new one in the same day, installed it, gave us instructions. Did not take alot of time. Great communications, very knowledgeable and professional.

Scott and Jim showed up and quickly assessed that the pipe would be difficult to get to.  The ceiling in the shower would have to be removed.  They allowed me to take out the ceiling and do all the clean up to save some money.  They came back the next day and were able to fix the pipe in a really tight location without having to cut the floor.

Plumb-it was on time and able to help with a bursted pipe / hose bib.  They made it look easy and installed this piece better than the original builder.  They even reattached a fixture in one of our showers which was starting to leak.  Well done sirs!

He actually arrived a little earlier than he thought he would. Tried to clear drain, but after going to basement realized the drain pipe was originally installed wrong. Changed out the drain pipe and got the drain cleared. He charged less than he might have. Would recommend them to friends, family and neighbors.

"sorry sir, I believe we had a communication problem as I heard you have a thick Indian accent. What I said after you asked to have a quote over the phone, is that most calls, are around $175. If I do not take out tools, or if I just turn a nut, typically there is no charge. I hope you find someone that suits your needs. And we would be happy to come out and look at your situation."

Scott, the owner and his assistant came right on time and went to work immediately with the punch list I provided. In about one hour they had taken care of the items mentioned in the report. Some of the items were in reality not a problem and he so he noted in his invoice which I have to present at closing. Scott is a person with a friendly demeanor and intent on solving problems.
I am very pleased with the service and the results. If I was staying in IL he would be my plumber forever. Additionally he is a veteran that has the mentality of honesty and service. I most strongly recommend this company for any plumbing work.

We had a kitchen sink with a disposer that began to back up and fill our double sinks with water if we attempted to use them.  I called Plumb-It and they asked if it could wait until the next day since we were in the middle of that horrible cold snap and they had several customers with burst pipes already lined up.  Not a problem for me as this was in no way an emergency, just an annoyance that needed to be taken care of.  They were out at my house first thing the next morning and got right to work sussing out the situation.  They determined that they needed to snake and root out the drain pipes and clear any blockages.  Scott and Jimmy were very pleasant to be around and I never felt that I was in their way as I readied my family for their school day (finishing breakfast and making lunches).  They were very neat and professional.  I will never use another plumber if I can help it!  Every encounter I have had with Plumb-It, Inc has been nothing but great.

Scott was upfront about what needed to be done and was very knowledgable about the work he was doing. He was on time, very clean with the work they did, and everything worked great when he was done. Its refreshing to be able to sing the praises of a company instead of warn people what to watch out for, These guys are the real deal, and I would recommend them to anyone who asks!

He was very nice explaining what it could be and to try turning on the water in all faucets and showers letting it run for about 10 minutes. He did not want to come out and charge me for something that I could fix on my own. It worked! and next time I have a problem I will call them back.

It was a quick visit.  He was here when he was supposed to be and he finished in 35 minutes time.  I needed a plumber quickly but I don’t recall from where I got him.  My toilet was leaking and I have a granite floor in my bathroom and granite does not allow water to stay on it for very long so I needed the plumber quickly and I got his name and he was there the same day.  He was professional and he cleaned up.  He was very nice, he came in put on the paper bootees attended to the problem and fixed it very quickly, he wrote out the bill, he accepted credit card as well as cash which was convenient for me, since I did not had to worry about needing the cash, I thought he was reasonably and he was in and out quickly.  There were no issues I had with his service.

The last 3 weeks with the sub-zero temperatures, I have been in the field working non-stop, trying to take care of as many customers as possible, so I haven't been in the office or as attentive to my emails as usual. Returned my call as requested, opening of the next business day  and scheduled a time for about 10:30 AM.   James called about 9:15 and said that the first job was finished and asked if it was okay to come sooner which I agreed to.  He then gave me the approximate arrival time.  He showed up on time, diagnosed the cause for the clog and gave two options; rod out or rod out and replacement of the back pitched portion of the line.  I elected the rod out to the main and replacing the back pitched section of the drain line.  The job was completed in two hours ending with the sweet slurping sound of an open drain. James was professional, amiable and was careful with the tools and equipment and did a wipe down after the work was done.  The normal additive costs of pipe replacement and rod out was discounted and an additional discount for being an angle's list member was given.  His supervisor also called to discuss how the job was going with the plummer.  We leave our shoes at the doorway which James noticed and without a word left his at the door with each trip in and out which i appreciated.  It was like having a friend, who was a plummer, do the work.
