The only issue was our $79 rodding deal that we purchased. I said to the guy who came out that I was happy for him to rod the sewer in addition to replacing the pump. Being the good guy that he was, he said that they would credit the $79 to the pump replacement. This was nice and I appreciated it. Only problem was that the Account department didn't apply the credit to the pump - I called them a week later when I saw the charge on my credit card the full amount. The first girl from Accounts I spoke to had trouble find the job and paperwork. When I told her that the plumber had offered the credit of the rodding to the pump job, she went off line, verified it and came back and told me that everything was ok - my account would be credited back. I didnt happen after a week, so I called back. This time a new Accounting girl, had the same problem finding the job or any record of the $79 being applied to the project. There wasnt even any record of my first conversation. Back through the same process all over again. After about a month, after the pump was installed I finally got the $79 refunded. Good, friendly plumbers, but not good communication with the Accounts group who deal with the money side.

During the process of inspecting our toilets, one of the Angie's Deals, we were given a sales pitch on how new toilets would help us. Since ours were 23 years old we decided to go ahead and get all new ones. We ordered 3 white elongated toilets and one bone elongated toilet. It seemed to take a while for the new toilets to be ready to be installed. And although this company gives you a time, in the three times they have been to our house that time has passed. Two of the times we called to get an updated time and the last time the plumber called us. In fact he called twice, each time to say he was going to be delayed another hour. When the toilets were installed it went quickly. The only problem was that the seat they brought for the bone toilet was for a round base. They had an elongated white seat on the truck which they installed instead and said they would be back in a week or so with the correct base. By December 3, they hadn't called. When we called the installation of the new seat was scheduled for December 8 (almost 2 months after the toilets had been installed). This was the visit when the plumber called twice to report delays. He did come with an elongated bone seat. We also told him that one of the new toilets was running quite often. In checking that out he found that none of the new toilets had been set with the correct water level. He corrected this problem. But after he left we discovered that the new seat did not have the soft close feature that it should have. By this time we're thinking of just waiting and sometime in the future of buying and installing our own.

It was easy to make the appointment, though they called that morning to say that the technician had to be sent on an emergency call. They offered for him to come later that day, and that was fine for me. (I guess that might have been a problem for some people depending on their work schedule.) The one thing that surprised me was being told that the Big Deal only included work on one toilet. I didn't recall seeing this in the deal description and it doesn't state that on the certificate. Since my primary interest was the water heater, I didn't make an issue of it. Also, it turns out that the only included repair for that one toilet was flapper replacement. The technician arrived promptly. Following my decision not to drain the sediment out of the water heater (see above), the technician and I discussed options for when the water heater fails, including a tankless heater, which we've been considering. We discussed possible placement in the basement. The technician was pleasant and seemed informative. There's always that question in my mind if I'm being told the truth about things I don't have expertise in, but his explanations seemed credible. My main concern about this experience was that the name and description of the Big Deal led me to expect more than just dealing with the water heater and a single toilet.

I purchased the deal. The company did come out and did a great job in the work they did do. I did not have them do what was described in the Big Deal though as there was not near as much work that needed to be done, so I actually had the deal refunded. They did do a great job for the work they provided and I was very pleased. The integrity they showed was beyond what I would expect from any company.

He was very good. He came out twice because they last person with a difference company that came left a coil in the drain and he was able to fish that out for me but he didn’t have the correct equipment the first time he came.

Excellent all-around service. Showed up when scheduled, dug the hole; kept the dirt neatly piled and used plywood so their digging machine didn't rut the grass. When they installed the new sewer piping, they also improved the angle of the outlet from the basement to allow for better drainage. They were very friendly and professional, and they communicated frequently about what they were doing. When they actually disconnected the sewer, they were most efficient about getting us back in service quickly. They worked well with the village building department and inspector. They patched up their work in the basement, and cleaned up everything nicely. Outside the hole was filled neatly. They then ran a video camera down the line to ensure everything was fine. Tremendous work. Recommended them to my neighbor across the street who experienced a sheared sewer pipe a week or so later.

Excellent service. They showed up when they said they said they would and were very professional. They ran a video from the outside clean-out toward the street and ran into a blockage. Based on distance they thought they were at the main sewer, so they checked the nearby manholes and found the whole sewer main was plugged up. They called Village Sewer Department, which came out right away and cleared the main. Perfect Home Service's action prevented everyone at our end of the cul-de-sac from have sewer backups into our house. Then, they checked our own sewer from the basement access and discovered the pipe had shifted and was shearing off from the house (this had happened before to us and all our neighbors). When looking in the pipe, you could see the shift was clearly a disaster about to happen. They explained we would have time before it became a complete blockage, and did not pressure us at all to do the additional work immediately or even with them. Their thorough action allowed us to get that fixed before it, too, became a disaster.

Jason and Russ were on time and went right to work after a brief explanation of what was going to be done. They were both very professional and worked well together to get the job done in a timely manner.

I had bought a "coupon" for a $2,495.00 water heater installation, which ended up costing $4,200.00. I felt like this was a bait and switch when the company probably knows it is offering a solution that will not fit most peoples homes. Quality of work went well. I could have asked for my money back, I wanted the tankless water heater, it ended up working out fine, just didn't feel it was the most above board thing to do when you know there are qualitative items that cannot be accounted for when offering a deal.

Paul came for the furnace check and found some problems that were repaired quickly because he already had the parts in his truck. Later in the day, the plumber came for the water heater check and found a small leak that he repaired and also drained the tank. I had another plumbing problem with my kitchen faucet which he replaced quickly since he had a beautiful replacement faucet in his truck! Both service guys were well prepared for any problem, which impressed me, no waiting around for parts or second appointments.

Very professional. Thorough with communicating what the service would entail and provided answers to every question I asked. The service duration was timely and there was no evidence that he performed the cleaning when he left.

Very impressed with this company. I purchased a coupon from Angie's list and the company called me within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. The two technicians showed up promptly , were courteous and used boot covers upon entering our home. Both of them were extremely thorough in explaining the maintenance they would be performing that day as well as showing us how our particular system works. They also helped us determine the age of our system and how to best care for our aging system along with possible options for the future. They changed out the air filter telling us which ones were best for our furnace and also checked the humidifier. We appreciated their honesty when they told us they could change out our filter, but would have to charge us and then proceeded to show us how easy it was (and cheaper) for us to do it ourselves. They also presented us with possible ways their company could help us in the future after we asked.

The tech that came was professional and did the job to satisfaction. The issue was with scheduling, they were schedule for the friday afternoon, they called that afternoon saying that they had an emergency call to attend to and wanted to reschedule. I can understand, but the following appointment was the following Friday in the morning, they came late afternoon and did not even ring the bell and left, had to reschedule a third time on Saturday.

The person answering the phone was friendly and knowledgeable, they called in advance like they said they would, they showed up on time, they took their time and did the job right, explained what they were doing every step of the way. Outstanding!

Service man called me in the morning asking if he can come by a little later as another job was taking extra time. I liked the fact that they asked me if it was ok and it actually worked out well that he came by a little later. First thing he did was flush the water tank, he had all the equipment with him that was neccessary. He then checked out all of the other faucets and drains in the house. Overall, the inspection went well, I didn't have anything that needed urgent attention. He then sat down with me to try and schedule time to fix the things that they saw were wrong, while this is good, the pricing he offered were extremely high. He also kept saying the prices are to keep the "lights on" to rationalize their high prices. He also did not leave a quote or anything as he mentioned they reserve the right to keep this to themselves and I totally understand that, just thought it was odd. When he left, I notice that he never turned back on the pilot. I ran out of my house to chase him down and luckily he hadn't left. Not a huge deal as I was able to catch him, but had I not caught that, I would not have had hot water. Overall, the gentlemen was very professional and polite. He answered all my questions. I don't believe I would personally use them again.

Our toilets were 23 years old so we felt it was time to at least get them inspected. It went well, but expect a sales pitch for new toilets during the dye waiting time.

Perfect Home Services first inspected the basement & discovered a faulty ejector pump. He also found a couple pipes that needed replacing. He drained the hot water heater & inspected it. He also checked out each bathroom in the house (4) and every other water fixture inside and out (hoses). He also trouble shooted a possible water leak from one of our bathrooms. He advised me on how to make an easy repair on one of our toilets & one of our hoses outside. Overall, it was a good experience. The plumber from Perfect Home Services was professional & there were no high pressure sales tactics used. The prices quoted were a bit high, but the service was thorough and excellent.

The service person seemed more customer oriented than I'd experienced in the past. He showed me what he was doing was not in a huge rush to work and run to the next job; he was more of a people-person than I'd ever engaged for this type of job. The Big Deal price made the entire experience Perfect., so their name is appropriate. Note that this is the 2nd time we've used this company for services: once for plumbing and once for the furnace. Based on these two experiences, I'd definitely use this company as my first line choice.

They came out promptly and were very professional. They took the time to explain what I was seeing on the video and what needed to be done to keep the sewer line in good condition. I would definitely hire them again.

Went very well overall. Had knowledgeable and experienced young man, Mark, do job. He not only did rodding of my main sewer line but spent time with me to see root problems and provide maintenance alternatives. I am very pleased with this service call.
