All my questions were answered. Turned out just to be a switch in one case, and an outlet in another. I was shocked at how much it would be to replace each of those (something even I can do), but I know they have to cover their time etc. I think it was $125 to replace each. But the man was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and the company very courteous. I'm sure they'd do a good job. We are considering getting a whole house generator and will get an estimate from them on that.

The technician came out to clean my furnace. I told him that some people had recently come out to clean my ductwork. They had tried to sell me three hundred dollars’ worth of cleaning for the furnace. I let the Perfect Home Services technicians know about this and that I wanted it cleaned. He offered help in the form of thousands of dollars’ worth of deep cleaning services. I declined, and he was very professional and nice and said everything was working fine. He had me change out the filter on an air recycler unit. I had to make my own filter for this basically. Suddenly I heard a loud terrible noise a few weeks later and smelled a terrible burning smell. The furnace motor had gone out. I had someone else out to look at it and replace it, showing me that the construction dust is what probably ruined it. I don’t know who was responsible or anything like that. The people who lived here before us hadn’t taken good enough care it seems like. I don’t know if there was any cause or effect to it at all, but it’s a shame that I paid to clean it and it still caused the motor to go out.

Our furnace is relatively new so the cleaning and inspection was easy. He was on time and polite. Will use again.

Since my furnace cleaning was a "non-emergency" to this company, my appointments got rescheduled no less than 3 times. I carefully scheduled them for times I knew I would be home, but it did not work out that way. It ended up falling on a day I was not home. Although the work was eventually done, they left a list of recommended maintenance or parts replacements, but did not leave a priced estimate. I need a company I can count on to keep their appointments.

Arrived timely. Put coverings over their shoes. Took equipment to basement. Placed tarps on floor. Ran the scope to check for blockage of main sewer line. None found. Team showed me what they were seeing in the scoping of the line. Explained everything in great detail. Made me feel comfortable. Cleaned up the little bit of residue from the scope and thanked me for allowing them to perform the service. Very Professional team.

He came out, was on time, and everything was fine. They did a video inspection of it as well. I was happy with the services he did for me.

I bought the Big Deal for the furnace clean and check. Later the same day someone from the office called me to set up an appointment. They were very friendly and the appointment was scheduled at a convenient time. I wasnt home when the services were performed, my husband was. But he had no complaints.

It did not go. It has been a terrible, frustrating, inconvenient experience. See above for more information.

Steve was very professional, honest and great people. You can't go wrong with Perfect Air and request Steve. He is good people and a keeper, Katie who answered the phone was fantastic. She had a return call to me and someone set up withing one hour. She also called when the repair tech was 20 min away. The have it together all the way around. Great job!!

Good and clean but was not able to clean the water heater because he said we need a new one.

Technician performed a very thorough electrical inspection. He took his time examining the breaker boxes and the problem I was having with no power in my garage. He was very knowledgeable and explained his findings as he went along. A detailed quote was provided for some necessary electrical work. I thought the estimate for a couple of specific items seemed a bit high for the work involved.

We had been having trouble with our furnace for several years. Companies would come out and fix a problem, it would work for that season, then the next season a new problem would arise. Each time this happened it cost us anywhere from $300 - $800. This was on an 11 year old builder quality furnace. This year was no different, so when I saw the big deal on Angie's list, I jumped at the chance to get the furnace inspected. This time the technician from Perfect Home Services was able to diagnose the issue that was causing my yearly breakdowns. He listed several options to fix the issue. Ranging from, this will get you by, to this will completely fix your problem. The cost to completely fix the problem was within a hundred or so of a brand new 97% efficient, 2 stage furnace (replacing the 80% single stage furnace). So we simply went with the new furnace. The install was completed quickly, cleanly, and they managed to work around our schedule.

This has been my best experience with a service provider to date. After having one of the other more well known companies Roto Rooter companies come out and could not fix the issue, I called Perfect Home Services. They had an Angie's List Big Deal coupon for main line Hydrojetting. So, I called at 7am not expecting same day service given all the water we've had in the area recently. Not only did they come out by 11am. But, Jason and Tim totally crushed it! My home did not have an obvious cleanout, so they had to jet it from the catch basin at the rear of the house. Unfortunately, that also meant that there are several lines flowing in to the catch basin. So, they had to figure out which was the right line which required them completely draining the catch basin. They then went to work with the hydrojetter, clearing out the blockage, and showing me with their fancy video camera areas that would require work in the near future. Throughout the process, they made me feel at ease because they knew what they were doing and could explain exactly what was going on. Even though this was essentially a fixed price job, they worked on it like they were getting paid by the hour. This is a subtle point, but I want to make it clear that they could have rushed through the job. But, they took their time to figure out exactly what was going on and fix the issue. In my opinion, you would be out of your mind to use anyone else for your plumbing needs. Super professional, very knowledgeable, and I can easily say it is the best money I've ever spent on my home. I will definitely be using Perfect Home Services for projects like this in the future.

We had a different plumber come out and he couldn't find the location of the catch basin. Perfect Home Services found it easily and fixed the problem without needing to replace the catch basin. Just to clarify, they fixed the problem for half of what it could've cost us.

The first guy arrived on time and did the actual grinding of the sewer with his machine. Later, a second guy arrived to do the CCTV review of my sewer. They both did their jobs well. The only downside was the slight push from the sewer CCTV operator to have me do an $8000 sewer lining to prevent future problems. $8000 is way more then I expected, but there have been no hassling phone calls back, so I can't complain. Still very high quality service.

I contacted this company on a Saturday via email, to get an estimate to replace our A/C and furnace. I received a call back very quickly. When I made the appointment, I was asked if I could provide the model of the furnace, which I did not want to give. As I studied up on furnaces, I read that many are not exactly sized correctly for the size of the house, so I would rather have a professional make a recommendation based on the size, efficiency of the house, rather than just quote what I already have. OK no big deal. I made and APPOINTMENT for Monday at 6:00 pm. Around 3:00 pm on Monday I received a voice mail from the sales rep asking me to give him a call. I called him back and he was basically "interviewing" me to see if it was worth his time to come out to our home. Then he mentioned that he doesn't think he would be able to make it and wanted re-schedule for Wednesday. I was a little put off since I already made an appointment for Monday and it was dismissed as it never happened (maybe he had bowling that night or something) but was tolerant of the change. So Wednesday, 6:30 was the new appointment. Wednesday, 6:30pm came and went, 6:45, finally at 7:00 I called the rep and got his voice mail. I left him a message and said forget it. We have two dogs that were put up in a bedroom waiting for him to arrive (by then trying to tear the door down). At 8:45pm I received a call back. This rep said that he had a family emergency that that the "office" was supposed to send someone else out or contact me. Neither of those happened. I can sympathize with the rep (and hope all is well with his mother) but a business is a business. Unless he is the only guy working for the company, I should be important enough to be at least contacted, not just blown off. The next evening at 4:30, 4:45, 5:00 and 5:15 I received voice mails from another rep asking if he can come out and to call him back. I will commend them on trying to make a follow up appointment, the problem was that it was Valentine''s Day and I don't think my wife would appreciate us spending it talking to a furnace company who blew us off TWICE prior to them trying to make another appointment. My thought is, if I am not important enough to have them even come out and quote the business, how can I trust they will do the work correctly? Or on time? Or as promised? It was enough to cross them off of my list. They made me feel like their time was more important than mine and wanted to visit when it was convenient for them, not me. I will spend my $8K with a company that will appreciate me as a customer. Prior to contacting this company, I already had a professional company quote the work, so I have a good idea on how this procedure is supposed to work.

I will say that this young professional was friendly enough, and did sound extremely knowledgable... Its just that he stepped way over bounds of what he was suppose to be talking about and inspecting, and I was insulted that he felt my husband had to be included in order for me to understand anything. The appointment was easy to schedule, fast with efficient response. They get excellent reviews for actual service preformed, so my review is based on a lack of actual service performed on product I purchased, and for a bit condescending verbal exchange.

My experience was excellent. I purchased a BIG Deal and received a scheduling call soon thereafter. They were accommodating with my tight schedule. I received a confirmation call the morning of the appointment and also a call when the service technician was on his way. He was extremely professional. (Even put covers on his shoes to prevent tracking in dirt.) He was knowledgeable, thorough and communicated the situation and outcome well. I would defiantly use them again!

This deal went very well. They were very responsive and thorough with their inspection.

On Saturday Feb 16th, my wife and I woke to a cold house. From previous work done and a friend's recommendation, I called Perfect Home Service at about 12:30 PM to look at my furnace. Within an hour, 2 service managers arrived and started scoping out the job. The furnace was 27 years old and the air conditioner was 25 years old so I decided to replace both instead of repairing. They had already reserved an installation crew in case a replacement was in order. They called a system salesman to come to my house. They stayed and took measurements and started a bill of materials until the salesman arrived about 45 min. later. The service managers left and we scoped out the new equipment with the salesman. He did a good job of explaining options and we decided on the system we wanted. He put the order in and within an hour, one of the service managers that had been here previously and the general manager came to start removing our old furnace and air conditioner. About 2 hours after that, another truck from Perfect dropped of all of the new equipment and the managers that had by now finished removing the old system, started to position the new equipment. They got as much done as they could until the installation team of Woody & Connor arrived at about 7 pm. Woody & Connor worked until the furnace was operable, about 12:30 AM Sunday morning. During what had been a very long day for them, they maintained an excellent attitude, showing no signs of the exhaustion they had to be feeling. Woody & Connor returned on Monday Feb 18th to finish the installation and explain how everything worked. The installation was beautiful. Perfect is taking care of available rebates from ComEd and Nicor themselves, crediting us immediately for the rebate value. They performed the same day installation at no additional cost.

The installer was very curtious and professional. He completed the installation in about 4 hours. So far we have been very satisfied with the results.
