Perfect Home Services was fine. The guy was very personable which is kind of unusual for kind of a plumber type. I didn't spend more than the big deal purchase.

For the most part, it was good. The only thing that I am still disappointed in is the workers did not tell me that the piping work that I had done was under warranty, it was not under warranty. They did the work that needed to be done now. I had some issues with them completing the work. It started at $5,000 and then they kept charging my credit card. It was an awful lot of money; I do not know how much piping cost, so this is what I got stuck with. They said that they could not get to the plumbing in another area of the house, so they had to re-route the plumbing and that is why they had to chop up the floor. They did come back and finish the work. They said that the work was warranty and it turned out to not be under warranty. I would not use them again.

Everything was great. He showed up and we actually looked through his camera and everything was fine. He worked very hard and also gave us a bonus cleaning solution. He was nice and very accurate.

We can't really assess this. It was all underground. Very expensive for 1 hour of work. I could not use the rodding part of the coupon because I needed the power flush. Still, I had an entertaining view of my sewer line.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was a painless procedure. We usually have it done annually because we have some issues with roots. It was routine service. They definitely arrived within their window. They finished quickly. There were no issues. It was a good price for the deal and I was happy. I had a question about something and the gentlemen couldn't handle it; they basically said they probably should have sent another person that was more knowledgeable.

For both services, the technician arrived at my home while I was at work, but my wife was present. I, therefore, can't verify the quality of the furnace cleaning, but, apparently it was done, as my wife was shown it's interior. The central air conditioner service; however, was a bad experience, but when I informed the Service Manager, she did what she could to make it right, so the issue is resolved. Details are as follows: 5/8 - Tech performing service reported system pressure "a little low", leak somewhere, refrigerant expensive, may be better to replace 11 year old system. I decided to use it as is; it was ok last year. 5/20 - Warm day, set thermostat to "cool". By afternoon, it was obviously not functioning. 5/21 - Called PHS, was operational at 5/8 visit, why not now? Later, same day, tech checked unit, said fan motor and starting capacitor both non-functional, nearly $1,000 to repair & still has leakage problem, more prudent to replace with new--cost approx. $4,000. I can't afford either now, so left it at that. 5/28 - Inspected it myself, motor hums, may just need capacitor jolt, took to local business, tested defective, bought and installed new part--cost $54 w/ tax, unit now functional. I observed that the cleaning I paid for appeared not to have been done. 6/6 - Cool spring, haven't needed A/C much, but by now confident unit would continue to run. Called PHS and reported all the above, Service Manager said my satisfaction guaranteed, would send another tech to correct. 6/7 - Tech cleaned condenser coil satisforily, found that the system pressure was, in fact, low, added what he said was less than a pound of refrigerant to correct 6/16 - As I write this, A/C running, cooling properly.

They were efficient and professional and they kept me informed the whole time and they showed me the camera of the three routes I have to be aware of. They were on time. They got the work done. They were very efficient and very professional.

Providor called up about 30 minutes before scheduled arrive time. He arrived on time and very knowledgeable about his craft. he spent about 30-45 minutes with visit and he answered all my questions. I am also going to engage this company for my annual furnace check-up in the fall. I purchased the coupon from Angies list and it was money well spent!!

They were professional, friendly and on time. They did a good job and I would use them again.

Very impressed- PHS called me twice when my Angie's List deal was about to expire and offered to schedule and extend it if need be for free. The tech (Kirk) called ahead, was on time, thorough and professional. Flushed my hot water heater, gave me the status and checked 5 bathrooms worth of plumbing in an orderly and efficient manner. Told me everything was working well- did not try to "sell me anything" and even gave me tips on how to prevent plumbing problems and avoid future expenditures. Overall, experience exceeded all my expectations.

The first call to the office was a pleasant experience. They were prompt for appointment and estimate was fair. When we had the word done, the individual service person was very nice, prompt, neat and showed me everything he was doing. He was good about explaining why we were having problems with the toilets, showed me what had been done in the past by another workman, and how he was able to address the problem. Overall great experience and I would hire them again.

We originally had an appointment scheduled for Memorial Day, but they called back to reschedule that. We were okay with that. We scheduled the service the day after ahead of time and the person that showed up was punctual and professional. As has been my experience with Angieslist so far, the technician did not know exactly what the Angie's list special was or exactly what he was supposed to perform. He did a thorough job, was clean, and worked hard and fast to finish the job. He was polite and answered my questions and ensured that everything was leak free and clean. The technician forgot to run a camera down the system. The company called back rather quickly and scheduled another person to perform that service. This technician also did not know what they were expected to do. My wife explained it to him after calling me and they performed the service. The main thing I did not like was the communication going on within the company and their communication with us. It was not terrible and they righted their mistakes. I just don't think the experience deserved an A rating due to the company's communications with us and with the technicians. I do believe they are a good company as they righted any problems so I do not think that should influence someone to not go with them. However, I would recommend patience and having your cell phone tuned in at all times for the many conversations you may have to have in order to get your service completed.

The guy who came out was nice. He seemed helpful but their pricing is so out of line. I declined having the work done and found a provider that was less than half the price. I had to call them this morning to find out when they would be out. They never called before hand to let me know when the service would be.

They were punctual and did everything they said they were going to do. I have nothing negative to say about their service. There was no up charges I only paid the agreed price.

Purchased a Big deal for Perfect Home Services. We had them come out to do a winter check up on the furnace. He inspected and cleaned the furnace. I didn't like that he tried to sell us on other items while he was here.

Jason was on time, worked efficiently , communicated in language that I could understand and gave me several options for the unit that needed work. He also made a suggestion on a temporary relief measure until a more permanent fix could be completed.

I had purchased the Big Deal for the $75.00 sewer rodding. As a relatively new homeowner, I had never had this done before. Jon, the technician, was great. He was prompt, courteous, very professional and worked diligently, which I appreciated since I had to get back to work myself. Jon used the camera to inspect the approx. 60ft of sewer line between our home and the main line. I was very pleased to learn that he didn't find any real areas of concern. I know other people in our neighborhood have been having issues with tree roots, etc. For $75, this was a great deal to gain some peace of mind that our sewer is not a ticking time-bomb. I would highly recommend Perfect Home Services and would not hesitate to use them again myself.

Quick to schedule (next day) but showed up without the proper equipment. Had to leave and return 3 hrs later to do the rodding. Still didn't have a camera so had to reschedule that piece for next day. Received calls as late as 9:45 PM to confirm the appointment. Received a call mid-day the following day to reschedule the camera for the following day. Day 3 was a total no show and I placed calls throughout the day looking for an ETA as I was to be an AM appointment. Finally @ 6:30 PM i was able to have someone tell me it would be rescheduled for 4 days later (due to the Memorial Day weekend). The staff was very nice and the work (when finally done) was great. Leaving me hanging, and causing me to eat up 4 days was crazy.

Our air conditioner was no longer blowing out cold air and the coils didn't appear to be frozen. Perfect Home Services was contacted on Thursday morning and one of their technicians, Todd, was on-site by 11:30am. After he evaluated the problem, he provided 5 options for the repair. Given the cost of the repair and the age of the air conditioner, ~25 years, we decided to pursue the option of replacement. Jake, one of their home specialists, arrived at 2:30 Thursday afternoon and provided a proposal for a new Trane unit. Jason, Ben, and Woody showed up at 2:30pm on Friday, the next day, and worked until 10:00pm to install the new unit, replace the coils in the basement, install a new whole house humidifier and rebuild lots of ductwork. Everybody we dealt with on the Perfect Home Service team was very professional, punctual, and went above and beyond to get our air conditioner installed efficiently and with a high level of craftsmanship. We will be using Perfect Home Services again for any future HVAC needs.

Here's some tips if you want a better experience than I had: 1. Expect a $40 service charge in addition to the $88 deal 2. Make sure to speak to the technician prior to them arriving at your house to make sure a camera is coming with. You are paying for a deal that includes televising and rodding - not just rodding. 3. Don't expect them to make it within the "4 hour time-frame" they give you. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. I was told by a phone rep that they schedule Angie's List customers with deals around their bigger jobs, so they don't always make it in the given time frame. Also, that is the reason why a camera for televising is not always available for Angie's List customers either. 4. Expect a sales pitch for higher priced repairs but don't let yourself feel pressured into buying them RIGHT NOW. These repairs should be researched and compared to other companies for customer service, quality, pricing, etc. 5. Don't expect a written estimate for additional services. When I still considered giving the company another chance at business, I was told by the technician he could not provide me with a written estimate. The service technician (Ben, Bubba, Robert - I was given three different names) was great. I had no issues with him at all. He was honest, courteous, personable, and helpful. He tried hard to regain our trust in the company. I would have purchased larger projects like hydrojetting and drain relining right there and then because I appreciated his effort. However, because of the company's issues, I thankfully did not. Here's my entire experience: I called the customer service on Thursday, May 30th and spoke with Amber PRIOR to purchasing a deal on Angie's List. I asked if there would be ANY additional charges beyond the $88 and was told NO, so I purchased it. <The fine print on the website deal does not state that there is a $40 service charge in addition to the $88. Hopefully, they update that after this review since I was not told on the phone nor was it was in the fine print.> I set an appointment through Amber for 8AM-12PM. I was told I would receive a phone call during that time frame and thirty minutes prior to the technician's arrival. Friday, May 31st at 11:45AM, I called wondering what the status of our rodding and televising was. It was Amber again who patched me through to dispatch. I told the dispatcher that I was given a time frame from 8AM to 12PM for our service. She responded to me by saying that they "refrain from giving time frames". I realized this miscommunication was not her fault, but she did not sound like she really cared at all that my husband and I sat here waiting all morning for a technician to come out. She told me that it will take the technician a few more hours, then we would receive a call for service. I get a call around 2:15-2:30pm that the technician would be out around 3pm. Then I get a call around 2:50pm that he will be arriving at 3:20pm because he typed in the wrong directions. Although I was not happy about that, I could let that one go. I asked him about the televising and was told that he did not have a camera on his vehicle. I asked if someone would be coming then in a separate truck with a camera since I bought a deal that included rodding and televising. He said he would find out and call me back. I received a call around 3:02pm stating that he would arrive somewhere between 3:30pm and 3:45pm because he would stop at the shop to pick up a camera. Again, not the technician's fault but the company's. Why would you sell this idea of "rodding and televising" to potential loyal customers but not follow through with your advertising??? Deceptive, I'd say. Very irritated at this point, I calmly called the company back and spoke with Niki. I explained to her that I was so far very unhappy with the practices of the company considering this was my first experience with them and a way to judge my future business transactions with them. Since this company provides several service repairs, I informed her that I had an entire house to be rewired, major plumbing projects, and HVAC repairs in our near future. To let my husband go as customers was a very bad idea. I was informed that indeed an AM appointment was noted on the work order. She tried to recover the company from the let-downs and told me that she would e-mail the manager about my complaints thus far. I was told I would hear back from her via phone but not given a specific time frame as to when. Bubba showed up around 3:45-ish and was apologetic. He ran water in the proper places to see where the water backup was occurring from. He opened our access drain and saw it was very clogged up with roots. We discussed a few scenarios and decided to just try the rodding and televising through the access drain for starters. He then informed me that it was $88 plus a $40 service charge. But wait... Prior to buying the deal, Amber told me that NO additional fees would be tacked on to the $88. I was put out but did not take it out on him or mention anything initially. I said something later in our interactions about not being told of this $40 charge, and he stated we should have been. He rodded once and said it was one of the worst cases he's seen with roots in a drain. He suggested hydrojetting which was something I had contemplated before as this is a fixer-upper home. I almost impulsively bought it because he wasn't annoying with his sales pitch, but then I remembered everything that happened before and decided against it to wait and see if the company itself could make a final attempt at customer service recovery. Bubba left, I promised him I would do this ReviewBuzz and use his reference for sales if I decided to continue business with the company. Unfortunately for him, I will not do business with this company after all of this aggravation. I don't care if it is Saturday today. If you provide 24/7 service like your website states, then you better provide 24/7 customer satisfaction. I have not received any communication from any leadership in that company regarding my terrible first time experience. I don't need to be calling them a second time either for followup from my initial call yesterday. If you have a customer who has multiple future jobs extending into the thousands of dollars, you betcha, I'd be working hard to regain their trust on a Friday night or Saturday. A company expects you to respect their time and pricing. What about my lost 8 hours yesterday waiting? What about my $40 that I was not informed about even though I asked from the get go? I'm sure someone else down the line will be waiting for 8 hours (4 hours beyond the expected time frame) too. I'm sure they will cash my $40 check - although by not telling me in their website and in the "fine print" nor over the phone even though I asked for clarification before purchasing the deal is deceptive. What about the frustration of the obvious lack of organization from the company? No thank you FAR FROM Perfect Home Services. I'm sure they will respond by saying they are sorry but look at all their other great reviews from satisfied customers, blah, blah, blah. Maybe I was that one customer that just fell through the cracks, but it is unacceptable to address that after the fact and after being given a bad review on Yelp and Angie's List. Again, given the experience we were put through yesterday, the additional chances we gave to decide if we'd continue business relations, and the projects that would have given them a nice chunk of profit, I would have expected followup today from anyone at supervisory level or higher. Just because it is a weekend doesn't mean you leave your paying customers to wait until Monday to figure out a phone call or email.
