Reasonably well. We are satisfied with the results. Price was lowered when we requested some small items not be installed.

First of all I had in my mind exactly what I wanted they did not sway from my design she did it good. She kept me up to status. The project manager went out everyday and making sure that it was getting done correct.

They responded quickly to our initial call, made a fair estimate of costs (explaining that there always could be unforeseen problems) and arranged to be here the day after the tub was being delivered. They were here at the time they said and worked quickly and efficiently. They were very careful to clean up and not track in or out. They explained each step they were doing and were very clear about what we needed to provide. They made sure everything works exactly as it should and were very careful about details. It really looks nice. I can't recommend them highly enough!

The project went well. I asked for an "all inclusive" quote, which was provided on time. My representative, Betty, took the time to find a great deal on some remnant countertop, which allowed me to get an upgraded granite countertop for the same price as marble would have been. It was also important that the work be performed without damaging the large wall to wall mirror above the sink, and the team did a great job to ensure the safety of the mirror during the installation. The project was completed in one day as promised and the countertop looks great. Both the removal and installation teams were knowledgeable and professional. Finally, my representative called to confirm that the job was done correctly and to my satisfaction before sending the bill. I would use Kitchen Village/Village Handy-Man again for another project.

Bill Bartlett was incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional. He had David, the most knowledgeable person at his company regarding cabinet materials call me. David spent a great deal of time describing the cabinetry they represent and getting me the information I needed. He was willing to bring a new sample cabinet to our house so I could see how it affected me. When I had a question for Bill, he called me from his vacation place to answer. He was extremely flexible. I wanted to work with Kitchen Village, but my husband wanted to use the architect who was designing our house. If we run into problems, you can bet that I'll call Bill at Kitchen Village to help bail us out.

We're very satisfied with the job that Kitchen Village did for us. The cabinets are beautifully made and we love the new laminate flooring. They worked very well with our designer. This business is highly rated with the Better Business Bureau and I can definitely see why.

I love them. Great people to work with. Allowed me to get my work done while they did theirs. Attention to detail, eager to please. They respect the people who they work for and very caring.

Bill was excellent to work with. He helped us through every phase of the design process, which took much longer than the actual construction. Mike did most of the work and was very professional. I will be working with Bill and his team for other remodeling. I would defiantly recommend Kitchen Village.

I loved working with Kitchen Village! The designer, Barbara, and I connected immediately. She came up with a very detailed design within a week that needed very few changes. She showed insight into our needs and really listened well to our input. We had not seen this dedication and professionalism in any of the other re-modelers we worked with. The entire staff and contractors were all a dedicated team and worked well together. Each contractor was very professional, clean, and actually a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard to make it as easy as possible on us and to make sure we were not inconvenienced. When any issue/problem came up, it was resolved immediately and to our satisfaction. This job was completed on time too! I wish we had found this company sooner for the other jobs we did! I wouldn't change anything.

The installer (Walter) is a craftsman demanding perfection of himself. Excellent.

They did an excellent job. Quality craftsmanship. Very customer focused. A year later if there is something that comes up they fix it immediately.

On time every day. Friendly, clean, neat, professional, trustworthy, & generally very receptive to suggestions & feedback. Only problem occurred when their own plumber was not available & they used a plumbing subcontractor. This subcontractor did neat, quality work but was not in the same league when it came to suggestions or changes. We recommend Kitchen Village very highly & we have sky high expectations. Considering all the extra design services & very careful attention to every detail, we think their pricing is very fair.

The finished product is beautiful with impeccable workmanship. There was a design problem, but this was resolved to my satisfaction as were several minor items. My only discontent is the length of time it took, but the end result was worth it. All of the workman and the designer were easy to have around and did excellent work.

WANTED TO DICTATE THE BUDGET HIMSELF. WE WANTED A CUSTOM ESTIMATE, NOT A BALLPARK. FOR SUCH AN EXPENSIVE JOB, WE NEEDED EXACT FIGURES AND EXPERT ADVICE. HE DIDN'T WANT TO BOTHER COMING TO OUR HOUSE, AND WE CONCLUDED THAT HE DIDN'T WANT THE JOB.

MY INITIAL TELEPHONE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS VERY PLEASANT. WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE SHOWROOM A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER, HOWEVER, THE DESIGNER ON STAFF THAT DAY DID NOT SEEM VERY ANXIOUS TO HELP ME. I SET OUT TO THEIR SHOWROOM TO OBTAIN THE FIRST OF THREE ESTIMATES FROM THREE DIFFERENT COMPANIES, AS THE BBB RECOMMENDS ON THEIR WEBSITE. I TOLD THE DESIGNER WHAT I WANTED TO DO (REMODEL 2 BATHROOMS) AND THAT I WAS OBTAINING 3 ESTIMATES. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT SHE WAS THE FIRST COMPANY I WAS SEEKING AN ESTIMATE FROM. I WANTED TO TALK PARTICULARS BUT SHE DID NOT SEEM INTERESTED. IN OTHER WORDS, I WOULD ASK LEADING QUESTIONS SUCH AS ''IF I CHOSE THIS DESIGN, HOW WOULD THAT EFFECT MY PRICE?'' SHE SEEMED RELUCTANT TO ANSWER ANY DESIGN QUESTIONS AT ALL. AT THE END OF THE 20 MINUTES I SPENT WITH HER, SHE SIMPLY HANDED ME SOME DRAFT PAPER WITH SOME INSTRUCTIONS SO I COULD GO HOME AND MEASURE MY BATHROOMS! I HAD NO DESIRE TO MEASURE AND DESIGN EVERYTHING BY MYSELF, SO I DIDN'T GO FURTHER

THEY DID A GREAT JOB, I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED SOMEONE ELSE TO THEM. EVERYBODY FELT LIKE FAMILY, THEY WERE COMFORTABLE TO DEAL WITH. THEIR CREWS WERE COMFORTABLE TO DEAL WITH AND THEIR CREW NEVER MADE ME FEEL LIKE I SHOULDN'T BE IN MY OWN HOUSE. THEY INTERACTED WITH ME ALL THE TIME, AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS. THIS WAS JUST A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

REQUESTED A PROPOSAL FROM THIS FIRM BUT SELECTED ANOTHER. WE BELIEVE THIS IS A HIGHLY COMPETENT, CREATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN DESIGN FIRM. IN OUR CASE, HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT LISTEN. WE WANTED A 1-STOP DESIGN FIRM WITH THE VISION TO CREATE A GREAT SPACE AND EXECUTE IT THROUGH TO A SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION. WE WERE FULLY WILLING TO PAY FOR A GOOD DESIGN. WE PROVIDED KV WITH 3 TYPED PAGES OF GOALS WE WERE TRYING TO ACHIEVE, MISTAKES WE WERE TRYING TO ELIMINATE, AND PRACTICAL ELEMENTS WE NEEDED TO INCLUDE. KV'S ROUGH CONCEPTS FLAGRANTLY DISREGARDED OUR NOTES. THEY DIDN'T LISTEN, AND THEY DIDN'T READ. THEY PROPOSED A GRAND ISLAND AFTER OUR NOTES SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIED AN ISLAND AS A BARRIER WE WANTED TO ELIMINATE. AND THERE WERE MANY MORE DISREGARDED PRIORITIES. WORST OF ALL, THEY BECAME HIGHLY DEFENSIVE WHEN WE PASSED ON THEIR PROPOSAL (WE OFFERED TO COMPENSATE THEM) BECAUSE WE FELT THEY HAD NOT ADDRESSED OUR ISSUES. THEY SAID OUR NOTES WERE NOT EMPHATIC ENOUGH.

BARBARA, THE DESIGNER AND PROJECT SUPERVISOR IS OUTSTANDING IN KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT'S BEST IN NEW MATERIALS, AND WHAT MY NEEDS AND WISHES WERE. WHEN SHE HAD AN EMERGENCY THAT TOOK HER OUT OF TOWN, THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY TOOK OVER THE WORK,, CONTINUED WITH OUT A HITCH. INCLUDING AN UNEXPECTED PLUMBING REPAIR.

THIS IS OUR SECOND REMODELING JOB WITH KITCHEN VILLAGE. THEY REMODELED OUR KITCHEN IN 2003 AND NOW OUR BATHROOM IN 2004. EACH EXPERIENCE TURNED OUT TO OUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION. BARBARA BAJLICZ, OUR DESIGNER, IS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH, THE PROJECT CREWS ARE COMPETENT, TIMELY, AND NEAT. THE ENTIRE STAFF AT KITCHEN VILLAGE IS FRIENDLY AND THEY WORK WITH YOUR INTERESTS IN MIND.

ALTHOUGH OUR JOB WAS TOO SMALL FOR THEM, (THEY ONLY DO FULL BATH REMODELS), THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND THE OWNER FOLLOWED UP WITH A HANDWRITTEN NOTE.

HAVE RECOMMENDED TO THREE OTHER PEOPLE! REALLY, REALLY GOOD ABOUT TAKING US THROUGH THE PROCESS!! WE GOT EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED!
