They are very good. Their price is good and they do a good job too. I would use their services in the future too.

I'm not sure about the furnace price because it was long ago but I live in a small town house so it was definitely reasonable. The air conditioner's price was definitely what they quoted too.

This job went very well. The installer was very agreeable about working around another contractor's schedule. Did an excellent job cleaning up and removing old furnace. Very good workmanship.

Scott, the technician, was personable, punctual and professional. He showed me what he found. Explained his findings in simple understandable terms and didn't try to sell me services I didn't need when I asked about a part he pointed out that showed some wear. He also suggested a way to improve the effectiveness of our heating system and save money on filters.

They explain everything and do a thorough job. They are the best! They are responsive and I can't say enough good things about them. Even if their price is high, I wouldn't care because they are wondeful.

Aaron was go great. He showed up on time and was very professional in his demeanor and work. He explained why the ignitor was a problem and showed me the piece. The ignitor was still working but was starting to go bad, so he put the old one in a box and showed me where it was so if we ever needed one in an emergency we had the old one. He was also great with the dog. Very pet friendly which is also important to me.

There is nothing like coming home from vacation to water in the basement because the hot water heater had started leaking while you were gone. Granted, they were 20 year old hot water heaters, so we were living on borrowed time, but the timing could have been better. Luckily, we've worked with Ibbotson's for a few years and they are just replaced our furance and air conditioner, so I had Ralph Ibbotson on speed dial. The next day they were on-site and installed the new units in about 3 hours. Ralph also gave us a discount since we had just done the HVAC work two weeks earlier.

The install went well. Because of the ARRA Tax Credits related to energy efficiency, we planned to replace our 20 year old furnace and AC. Ibbotson's has been maintaining our system for four years and I couldn't be happier with their service, so I knew I wanted them to do the install. We scheduled a meeting with Ralph on a Friday to get a quote for the system. We planned to install it later this year or next year, but wanted some budget numbers. As luck would have it, our furnace blower motor went out that weekend and we were looking at July heat and no AC. I called Ralph and told him we needed to move more quickly than planned. He was more than happy to oblige -- the only problem, I wanted to move my AC Condesor, which requires my Condo Association and the Village's approval. The condo association approval was easy, the Village turned out to be harder than anticipated. Knowing we were without AC in July (and a pregnant wife to boot), Ralph suggested that we go ahead and replace the furnace so we could get cooling again and then install the AC unit once the village approved. We liked Ralph's suggestion and accepted his offer -- two days later we had working AC with the new furnance and old AC unit. After about a month, we finally got the Village approval. Ralph's team then came back and finished the AC install. Since Ibbotson's had to do double work because of the phased install, I expected to pay a higher amount than the original quote, but Ralph wouldn't accept anything other than the agreed upon price. Ralph's staff was friendly, cleaned-up after themselves and didn't mind me checking on the install and learning about the systems. Now that everything is installed, our utility bills are lower, our cooling is much more consistent across our house than before, and we are very happy. There were some rebate programs from Lennox at the time as well and Ralph's staff took care of the legwork. When there was some issue with one of the rebates, rather than mess around with it Ibbotson's just cut me a check and said they'd take care of it with Lennox. I've since referred Ibbotson's to some friends who have also been pleased with similar work.

Dino was here in the time period indicated in our intial call. He called us a few minutes before coming to advise us of his imminent arrival. Dino is a hardworking and affable service person. He has been to our home several times before and we are always pleased when the company chooses to send him. Work was done well and efficiently. Thanks again to Ibbotson for their professionalism.

Our old air conditioner was having repeated failures and we decided to replace it. Ibbotson was able to schedule a sale appointment very quickly and we got estimates for two choices of furnace and two choices of air conditioners. Ibbotson was able to perform the install in the same week. The installers showed up promptly and put in two very long days to complete the install ahead of schedule. They did a thorough job and did a very nice installation. There is a lot of attention to detail in the way they routed wires, hoses, pipes, metalwork, etc. They went above and beyond with the existing humidifier by removing it and reinstalling it in a better position to make it work better. As part of the job, they installed a new chimney liner. At first I questioned this step, but the installer was able to explain the reasoning in easily understandable terms. During the removal of the old furnace, they knocked a couple of pavers off of our front step. They were honest and brought this to our attention. Really appreciate the fact that they didn't try hiding it or making excuses. The installers were always polite while here, and they took quick breaks, even quick lunch breaks. They placed plastic down to protect our floors from any dirt or damage due to the work being performed and left the work site clean. Compared to other quotes, the price was slightly higher (around 5-10%), but we went with Ibbotson based on their feedback on Angie's list. They were well worth the extra money for their professionalism and quality of install.

Met with the owner in our home, explained what we wanted and the issues we were having with the old models. He provided options, we selected the units that would best service our home. We were also having carpet installed so they did the cutting of drywall prior to the installation of carpet and then came back and did the rest of the work after. They were timely and showed up when they were supposed to. They always put the customer first and made sure we were always aware of what was going on. They removed everything taken out of the home and left bot the inside and outside of hte home spotless. The crew that did our installation was excellent.

They are very good at what they do so fixing an appointment is not easy. I called them 2 months in advance to get an appointment with my schedule. They came and checked the furnace. Then they went outside and cleaned the air conditioner and made sure it was working properly. They always do a good job. The price was very reasonable.

Our experience was a very positive one. The man that did the evaluation was always professional in manner. The people who came out and installed were quick and efficient and did a great job installing the unit. The price was great for their quality of work. We highly recommend this company and will use them gain in the future.

I paid the premium price, which I expected. They did very well. The price was a little high, but it was Father's Day, so I don't blame them for that.

When we purchased our home we knew the 27-year-old air-conditioning unit needed to be replaced. We also decided to replace the furnace with a high-efficiency unit to take advantage of the federal tax credit and generous rebates being offered by several manufacturers. Using The List, we selected three highly rated companies for quotes. While the quotes were nearly identical, we went with Ibbotson and a Lennox system versus another company representing Trane. These two companies were terrific to deal with ? professional and informative. The third, although highly rated, just felt sleazy, and their representative really pushed for the close during his initial visit. As noted above, we went with the Lennox system and Ibbotson. Our sales person, Jim, was incredibly responsive to our needs and really helped when it came time to secure approval from our Homeowners? Association to install direct venting. I signed the quote and work started the next week. The job was scheduled to take three days. We live in an older condo with a cramped utility room making the job a tad more challenging. They finished on time. The installers, led by Toby, were outstanding to have in our home doing the work. He and his team kept us informed of their progress and taught us more than we?ll ever need to use about HVAC. Of course, we provided the team with hot coffee so their energy wouldn?t flag. Overall, a terrific experience. Now we?re ready for whatever summer and winter have to offer ? and a nice tax credit and rebate check in the mail.

On Monday evening , we saw a small amount of water dripping on the basement floor from the Aprilaire . We called Ibbotson's on Tuesday and a polite gentleman gave us a quote of $69 for furnace service and work on the Aprilaire would cost $22 per quarter hour , plus parts. He booked us in for Wednesday morning between 8am and noon. Sure enough , at 9.20am, we got a call to say the workman was on his way to our house. When Mike arrived, he was courteous, covered his shoes and went straight to work. He worked solidly till he had finished. Then he explained how he arrived at the final bill. This was a very satisfacory experience

They have done regular maintenance on our systems as well. They do excellent work and they are very professional. We would highly recommend them.

We have a contract with Ibbotson Heating Co. for maintenance or repair on our furnace and air conditioner. They are very reliable and honest. The servicemen are knowledgeable. We have been using there service for about eight years. We will continue to use their service in the future.

I called a couple different places and they took time to explain water heaters and pricing with me. They were very attentive to our needs.

Ibbotson Heating Company came out one day and repaired our heating system. He found mistakes that a company had made years prior and he was able to fix them. They cleaned, replaced, and repaired all the parts that were broken or had been assembled incorrectly by the previous company.

I called around 8:30 am and described my problem. The service was promised as soon as possible, probably early afternoon. Eric arrived around 11:30. The furnace, of course, began heating shortly before he arrived, making a definite diagnosis impossible, but he checked things out. He gave my daughter several suggestions of simple things to do if it occurred again(this has been an intermittent problem for as long as I've had the furnace. Cleaning the sensor usually clears it up for a year or so). Their price was lower than I've paid in the past when dealing with other companies.

It's the same person coming in every year and he is always on time. He thoroughly cleans it and tells me what he has done. He knows the furnace, and the air conditioner, and knows the problems that I've had. He takes care of the things that I need him to and he does a good job overall.
