They seem very honest. They sometimes don't suggest any work at all. I think I might need something repaired and they say it's just fine and I don't need anything. They are very popular. They are fine.

They are a little pricey, but very friendly. They sometimes also pick you up when your car is ready, which is very convenient.

. Excellent. Car was done when they said and final cost right on target if not a bit less then the quote. They are very good at taking in the age of the car, its use and needs and letting you know what needs to be done asap and what is coming down the road. This is a family run business and we have used them for 23 years . Sadly we recently moved out of state and will miss knowing they are just down the road. I cannot say enough positive things about our 23 years of experience wtih Dakota K!

I have been going to them for almost 30 years since we moved out here. They are close and the big thing is they are trustworthy and honest and they do quality work and they stand behind their work. It is a family owned business and they care about the customers. Without a doubt I would continue to use them.

They are thorough when performing diagnostics. They are very friendly. They are good at informing you of the work that has and may need to be done. They are very honest.

Dakota K staff were always professional, offered a good price, and provided a ride (if I needed it ) back and forth to my home while they serviced my car. They provided clear recommendations on what to repair or what not to repair with my older car. I would definitely recommend them as a car repair shop.

Dakota K was gracious enough to assist me with a flat tire, even though it meant that they had to stay open longer than their advertised hours. They spent a lot of time on the phone, calling around for the best tire price to replace the flat. The price was high, but that's a function of buying only ONE tire, and having it be an "all weather" tire.... The following day they gave me an appointment to install the new tire, plus an oil change that was overdue...

I use them to take care of my cars and I am very happy with them.

We have been loyal patrons of Dakota K for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. There have been many occasions when we thought we had a big, expensive issue only to have Dakota fix the problem for much less. Getting an appointment is simple, the work is professionally done and on time. Their prices are very competitive and when buying tires, the included maintenance is a great bonus.

They were easy to get an appointment with and worked on my car right away. They did a good job. It's working fine.

I'm using them for the 3 time. They provide such good service. They were actually able to find a tiny hole in my rim which is why I've been losing air in my tire and no one else could find the problem.

They gave an estimate of $1800, and when they did the work, it was actually $1100. They were very honest. My car was ready on time; the facilities were clean; and they were courteous.

I like that I can purchase tires from them as well as getting repairs and other work done. I think that they are a little bit more expensive than they need to be. A couple of months ago I took a vehicle in to them so that they could do an oil change, rotate the tires and change the windshield wiper blades. Once they had finished the work they took the car for a drive around the block to check that everything was okay. When they were out there was another vehicle that almost ran into them. To avoid an accident they drove up onto the curb, in the process popping two of the tires in the front. When they got back to the shop, they called me and let me know what had happened. They told me that it was going to be a little bit longer, but that I could pick the vehicle up in about an hour. When I went in to pick it up they had put two new tires on free of charge. I was very impressed that they were honest with me about it and that they fixed the problem before returning the vehicle to me.

Used them for three years for all my car needs never had bad thing to say. Made appt 3 days before was out in 35 minutes. If you have a question they are never afraid to answer. Front desk is very cordial.

The company does a really good job! For a car repair place, they are very straightforward with the problems and call you with an estimate before they do any work on the car. They do not try to push you into any work that you do not really need.

Marvelous, oil light went on the dashboard showing oil to be changed. For about 3 years they have serviced all my cars needs. They told me on the phone that they will send someone to see if I needed oil. They called me back and to be safe they will tow car to shop. At 2 o'clock They called me to tell me they took care of the light and they were sending someone to pick me up since I was out of a car. All this for FREE of charge. By the way I still had 1500 miles to go for my oil change. Any one needing their services should give them a try since everyone their is honest and very polite.

Getting the appointment set up seemed like way too many phone calls - but that could have been me. They were very polite. Have loaner car - which is a good thing as they have NO waiting area (forget my need for a worktable & Internet access while I wait...). Loaner car radio & CD player did not work, but otherwise okay. It cost $135.47 to determine that the gas cap was the problem & replace it. That seems over the top insane to me. The flat tire was more expensive too - $24.00. The gas station in Barrington (no longer here - torn down to put up fancy bldg) charged $5. Pleasant people but it felt like a total rip off to me.

We were extremely happy with the service provided by Dakota K. We found them on Angie's list, and I'm glad we did. Their staff is very courteous and helpful, and was able to give us sound advice. I believe their prices are fair, and that they will not cut any corners or try to take advantage of their customers. I was looking for an auto shop that inspired my trust, and I found it.

We took our 2 year old Honda in last time with several things to do and it was only $27. They have it done for you when they say, usually within the same day. People are polite and thorough. We've been going to them for 20 years. We trust them when they tell us there is work to be done. They also give you a ride home or pick you up if you need it. They are good people.
