We hired Finished Concrete twice to do patios at two different houses and couldn’t by happier. Luis oversaw both projects and he was very attentive and orofessional. His workmen did a fantastic job. Looking forward to having them do our driveway and sidewalk next.

They got in trouble with the village for dumping gravel on the street (police came over to issue a citation), and then with the inspector for missing the inspection timeline. Once they finished the patio, I noticed that there was damage to the siding. They sent a guy to fix it; both times he didn't have enough material to fix all the damage. After that I was not able to get Luis to reimburse me for the fixes. My phone calls now go directly to his VM. I would talk about the patio work, but after all I think is best that you avoid this contractor.

I had Luis pour a driveway for me. They were slow to finish it and poured it in three different installments. The problem with pouring it in three different installments is they splattered fresh cement on the older dry cement. The splatter is unsightly. I had them come back and fix it ... they covered it with the skim coat but the skim coat now is discolored brown and completely different color than the rest of the driveway. They really did a poor job and are unable to repair what they damaged.

Luis seemed very genuine in the beginning. But as time went on they kept putting things off and eventually after the patio was put in they left the place a mess and discoloration where the joints were cut. Tried and tried again to get them back but it felt like they were just stringing me along.

He gave us a good price upfront, but this is a good example of **you get what you pay for** If we did not continue to follow up, he would have ditched us on multiple occasions. No shows a few times for meetings and he acted like we were an inconvenience to him the entire time. They do not take their job seriously and they did not complete the job as promised; avoided calls, texts, and emails to the point we has to use other phone numbers to call and get ahold of him. Very disrespectful when communicating. The job is still incomplete and I would caution anyone to avoid using Compass.

Not able to observe a schedule. Leaving a mess behind his work, costing me a lot to fix it. Not keeping his word about the work to be made. DO NOT ENGAGE HIM IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ENERGY TO FIGHT HIM ALL THE WAY.

The driveway and walkways are beautiful. The color pigment and sealer used along with the different stamps makes my driveway look absolutely luxurious. We love the way it all turned out. HIGHLY recommend getting the full treatment from Compass Construction!

If he is only doing concrete work he would be great, but if there are other projects that need to be done better make sure he knows all the process to do the job.

Luis did a great job starting with a comprehensive and professional quote, all the way through follow-up and clean-up. We had them replace a very long asphalt driveway with a stamped concrete driveway and a new car port. They did an amazing job - the finished work looks amazing. They also replaced top-soil, moved fencing, and helped rearrange some pots and plants. Terrific attitude and tremendous help. We will definitely use Compass Construction for any future concrete projects we have.

They provided the proposal promptly and clearly. The crew showed up as scheduled and worked hard. They were able to replace our old asphalt driveway with a new concrete drive in one day. The new drive looks great.

Every time I call him to ask something I will hear Luis Sepeda that it no message at all. About the promises most of them did not go through or promises keeps on unfulfilled anyway the whole job was done after more than a month and the result I should say good enough. The other thing I want to advise others makes sure all your conversations and contract are documented and typewritten.

It was difficult to get answers on the start of our patio. We were advised by Luis that the permit was in the works and they were waiting on this before starting but when we contacted the city found out they never requested the permit. This was just one of the many issues. We had too many issues with this project and for reasons we can not explain. Aimee was very helpful in getting answers to unanswered questions.

Promised and expected a 1st class job. I originally wanted the stoop repaired. I was told it had to be removed and replaced and that removing and replacing the existing walkway too would improve entry appearance and property value with the new finished concrete appearance. After checking their reviews I hired them from the job. They promptly removed the existing concrete. However, there were multiple delays for a variety of reasons. I had to keep calling them almost daily to find out what going on. Wondering each day if someone would show up. I tried to be accomodating, but after they finally poured the concrete, one section of the walkway was not finished properly and actually look like a patch job. The mate joint of the concrete walkway to the existing asphalt driveway was 1 inch higher than the driveway causing safety hazards for seniors with walkers. They would not send someone out to review these issues with me. I had to send them photos and discussed it with their customer service personnel who requested additional photos which I sent. Now over a week later no further response and no corrective actions.

Luis was great at communicating with me. He also came back and brought soil for my grass. The cost was the best out of all my estimates.

Luis and his crew were top notch. got the job done and cleaned up afterward. New patio looks great.

The team at Compass is professional, curious and great to work with. The price they quoted us beat a few other companies who were charging nearly double and not willing to deal with permits during the pandemic. Compass took care of everything! And had outstanding communication throughout the process. The quality of work is impeccable! Our patio looks like something out of a magazine spread!
