It was a wonderful experience! I received a call back right away and was able to get an estimate later that same week. They did a great job on the trees. The bushes were removed and taken away.

They were fantastic and I'm already referring them to friends in the area. Stephanie was quick with a estimate and answered all the questions I had. Jorge and his crew were efficient, fast, and clean. They were more than willing to look at other things (I didn't originally get quoted) in my yard that needed attention and took care of them.

Excellent, they were very responsive in setting up the appointment and did a great job when on the property. It went quickly, the cleanup was great, and they spent time answering a couple questions and offering advice on what our plans were, advice that did not involve them doing more work, just helpful advice. Very pleased and will definitely seek them out for future work.

I cant say enough good things about this company. I hired them again after they did such a great job with my emergency tree situation. They removed 2 very large pine trees and trimmed back the oaks. Fair price, great work & cleanup and awesome employees. I don't foresee any more tree projects in my future, but if one comes up I will definitely call them.

I can not give this company enough praise. They are very professional and fair in their pricing. They came out removed the tree, cleaned up and hauled it away in less than an hour. All of their employees did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them. I will be hiring them again soon to do some non-emergency work in our backyard.

It was great! They were responsive, arrived when they said they would, and when I discovered one or two small spots they'd missed (a lot of earth was disrupted so I'm not surprised something got covered in the process), they returned quickly to finish up.

Work was done quickly and professionally. George explained everything and provided advice on how to do the job properly. Crew was very friendly. Cleanup was great.

It went great. Stephanie was the contact on the phone and she was very helpful in understanding the unusual circumstances. Her crew arrived promptly. The men were very courteous (introducing themselves before beginning work) and very efficient. The crew (6 or 7) handled everything like clockwork. No one stood idle and watched. They were very professional and careful and very thorough in their cleanup. I would not hesitate to hire again.

Of the three companies we interviewed, they were by far the lowest cost and easiest to talk to. We were offered the winter rate at the time of the estimate, and told they would call us to schedule sometime between Dec and March. About a month later, they called and we made a date. George and his team were prompt, efficient, timely and polite. Everything was hauled away and they did a great cleanup. George kept us well informed thorough the day and the work was done with excellence. Before starting the owner made sure our neighbor was aware the crane would need to be on his property and that we had received our neighbor's permission. Plywood and plastic boards were used under the wheels of the crane to prevent damage to the lawn.

The team arrived a bit early and walked me through the entire job before starting. They also did a bit of additional trimming since they were in the area while they were cutting down the three trees that were needed. Overall, it was a great experience.

It turned out fine, very well. My husband was very pleased with their work. The price was fine too. They were very punctual, if I remember correctly. My husband really liked them.

These guys did an amazing job! They had to deal with two neighbors, the tenant and removal of a car in the driveway to get their work done. They worked around the distractions and did an amazingly professional job. They were efficient, safe and offered advice as needed. The wife of the head guy - Stephanie- was great about keeping me informed of their timing. All of the work was in the back yard and one of the trees was dead and I was scared it might fall on a house in our crazy Fall rainy weather. J&S Tree Service removed the trees and trimmed extra trees/ vines that were around the yard and getting tangled in the power lines. They also cleaned the gutters while they were up on the roof. These guys have done two of my rental properties with dangerous tree situations. I really appreciate their attentiveness and professionalism.

Had 3 estimates and J.S had a fair cost, plus it included everything that needed to get done, e.g cutting and chipping and hauling away.

We used J & S to take down a tree in our backyard that developed dutch elm disease. Their responsiveness and pricing was top notch, and the team that spent the entire day here to take the tree down and to do some other trimming were professional, on-time, courteous and cleaned up everything after a full day. They did exactly what I wanted them to do and then did a very good job cleaning up afterwards.

George and his crew exceeded my expectations, and I am so very pleased with the work. George spent a significant amount time specifically discussing my needs and expectations with respect to each tree, bush, and hedge. He and his crew were extremely professional and pleasant, and they were well-equipped with several trucks of professional tree trimming and disposal equipment, as well as safety gear. The bushes were artistically trimmed and reshaped and clippings were cleaned up and removed. The Black Walnut was pruned to a perfect umbrella shape, and all dead branches were removed. But what I was most surprised by and pleased with was the work performed on the aging Oak tree. The roots of the Oak were damaged when my home was constructed 23 years ago, and the tree experienced a significant decline in the 10 years following construction. I had a large portion of the tree removed 18 years ago, and although another tree service told me the tree would be dead within the year, I had deep root fertilizing done, and amazingly, the tree grew new branches. It was and is fighting to live. The tree had an odd shape and people remarked it looked like a ghost tree. The top portion of the 5 foot wide trunk, and several large branches deteriorated and died in the past few years. I wanted those portions of the tree removed for safety, as well as aesthetic purposes. I advised George that whatever he could do would be acceptable, as I wasn't ready to give up on this tree which was trying so hard to survive. When I arrived home from work, I was stunned to see that not only was the requested work done, but the tree was pruned in such a way that it now looks balanced and almost attractive. George and his crew did not have much to work with re this Oak. Unlike the previous tree service, which chopped at the tree without regard to its appearance because it was in decline, George understood my desire to preserve the tree and went above and beyond and beautified it! I have come to expect mediocre work and lack of desire to please the customer from contractors. It seems that there is always something which is not done correctly or to be dissatisfied about, and a lack of concern to make it right. Which is why George and J & S are so very different! They not only did what they were supposed to do, they went above and beyond and actually made me happy that I had the work done. I highly recommend J & S.

Stephanie walked me through pros and cons of trimming vs removal. She was very consultative and professional during the entire process. Came out twice to provide experienced evaluation of what they thought should be done and helped us to make an informed decision on the services to be provided.
