"That is incorrect. Yes, we did put rodent equipment in place which primarily consists of snap traps back on 9/10/14. Our initial service is to inspect and put rodent equipment in place. The cost for that service is $125-165. You were charged $125. Our goal is to catch the mice and then seal up the area or have the customer do it. At the time of the initial service, you were quoted $125 to do the exclusion work. We did try to schedule that service. I contacted your husband, Laurence, on 9/22/14 to schedule the follow up. He said nothing had been caught. He wanted to wait a while and then would call us back to schedule the follow up service/exclusion work. I never heard back from him so I assumed the problem was resolved and he sealed up the areas. If you want to schedule that follow up, please call me. Jane Peifer"
Jane was very helpful, professional and efficient. Bob called and let me know what time he would arrive and was timely. He was very respectful of my time and property. Set the trap on the roof and caught the uninvited guest the first night. He stopped by daily to check the trap and add fresh bait to see if there were anymore, but luckily it was just the one. Bob kept the trap there until we were able to get the roof repaired.
I was very pleased with the price and very satisfied with the service.
Ampest's greatest asset is Jane who answers calls and schedules services. She's fantastic. Bob Graff is another great asset. He came to my house, explained what he was doing and what the expected outcome was. In a matter of days, the squirrels were captured and removed. VERY HAPPY with the service and outcome. I hope I never have another need for their services...but if I do, Ampest will be my first call!
Okay, you want the details. I was too pushy and wanted lots of visits in the beginning. Lenny and Jane cautioned us to wait a while, as they know the breed. After 3 to 4 weeks, the boxes and traps inside caught 5 rats. Yuck, but we were happy to have them caught. Lenny has been great and has come (per our request) several times after - and it seems like they are totally gone. Al and I are so happy - this very much was ruining our summer to enjoy our nice patio yard. We are retaining Lenny and Jane on a monthly basis, as our neighbors are really doing nothing, and three of them all had the pleasure of the ugly things this year. I have to thank Lenny and Jane very much - you are great!!
