Description of Work: Kudos to JJ for helping my son determine if Comfort Heating had a replacement blower for their Whole house furnace which had stopped working altogether. Called Comfort Heating from Portland Oregon to try and help my son out with no heat in the house and zero degrees outside. He had called another HVAC and they had come to his house to repair or replace furnace. Unfortunately this company did not have the replacement blower motor that my son needed and wouldn't have one in for another three to four days. So, dad had to see if he could help long distance ? Unfortunately, the blower motor required was again not available. But, definitely wanted to thank JJ for helping my son out !!

Description of Work: These folks were very professional. The serviceman took the time to explain in detail the work he was doing, he gave me options and rationale as to why work did or did not need to be done. He was punctual and professional. I would highly recommend this service.

Description of Work: They replaced our furnace. In doing so, they investigated the workings of our fresh air intake system. They discovered that this system had no working valve and simply sucked in air through a 8 in diameter hole. Between that fix and a new blower that came with the heater, we saw our house go from being one of the worst in our neighborhood for energy use to better than average this summer. This savings was anticipated during the winter due to the new furnace, but because of Comforts diligence in fixing our fresh air intake, we have saved money all year long.

Description of Work: I should have written this a long time ago, meant to and forgot! I had an emergency call when our furnace went out and Comfort Heating was able to have Jeff, who happened to be in the valley finishing another job, come right over to our house. He was excellent, very professional, explained exactly what had happened, replaced a part that failed and had everything up and running in no time. I was very impressed iwth everyone I dealt with by phone and especially Jeff. Would, and have recommended this company.
