On February 19, 2012 we purchased new family room furniture. Our salesman, Dale Corson from the Meridian Design Center was helpful in our purchasing decision. He stated that it would take 2.5 months before the furniture would arrive which would bring us to early May. · On May 16th, we contacted Dale to find out the status of the order. He replied on May 17th: “It has left the factory and is on its way -- we should see it about the middle of next week.” · On May 24th, Dale called to let us know the furniture had arrived and that we’d get a call from the warehouse about delivery. · By May 29th, we still had not heard from the warehouse. We called and left a message for Scott in Deliveries to find out the delivery date. He never returned the call. · On May 30th we called Dale back to ask for his help on getting the delivery arranged. He returned our call on May 31st. He suggested we call Scott but since we were going out of town that evening, asked him to take care of it and arrange for delivery on Monday, June 4th. He said he would take care of it. · When we returned on June 3rd, there was no message regarding the delivery. · We called Scott (again!) on Monday, June 4th to find out when the delivery would take place. He said he’d call back to arrange a time. He did, and the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, June 6th. We have not been happy with the after purchase service we received from Thomasville. Our furniture will not be delivered for almost 4 months after the purchase. This time could have been shortened had the delivery been expedited at the time when it was received at their warehouse. And finally, the lack of communication keeping us informed of the status was disappointing. A simple call or email to continually give us updates would have been appreciated. We see excellent customer service from other companies we deal with and would expect superior service from a company like Thomasville.

There was poor communication on the part of Thomasville. On the bright side, the furniture is very nice and of high quality.
