BJ at Evenflo was referred to me by a friend who had used his service in the past. BJ was very responsive and competitively priced. He installed the new furnace within 2 business days on short notice. I was very pleased with Evenflo.

I think they do good work, but BJ (owner) is slow to communicate, and sometimes doesn't call back at all. (I've used him in the past). They also did not wire my A/C back properly, so when I went to use A/C this summer, it didn't operate. I'd used someone else to find out what was wrong, and they were the ones whom made the discovery. I wound up paying like $90 for that service call, which was due to the mishap with Evenflo, but didn't make a deal about it, just figured I'd call Evenflo the next time I needed service, and let him know what happened, saved my receipt, etc.
I just got off the phone with BJ, and he said he can't do anything about it, since I waited to report this. To me, it really shouldn't matter. If you do a service and make a mistake, you should make good on it. He could have easily offered to just credit me for my next service, but he seemed disinterested in even making an appointment with me, even though I was polite in my inquiry.
I wouldn't use his services again, since I don't agree with his policies.

"We strive to offer quality service to all of our customers. It was very hard to make appts to do the work and get the local inspector out to inspect the job. I was not made aware of any issues with the A/C unit until 6 months after the furnace was installed. Jean told me about the issue after she had it repaired 6 months later. She then asked me to come out and take a look and repair some ductwork for free in exchange for the repair made by someone else. I cannot do other non related work at no charge for a service call that was needed 6 months prior to being notified. We stand behind our work 110% and would have gladly fixed any issue at no charge if it was brought to my attention and was related to the furnace installation. All work was done through a home warranty company and unfortunately I do have some constraints in my contract with them, however I do not let that limit my quality or level of service."
