Since 2015, Dover is an owner-operated company with 13 years of second-generation building trade experience. We strive to offer a personalized and professional interaction, while delivering quality results. Based in Coeur d'Alene, we serve the Idaho panhandle area. We specialize in improving existing properties and can transform a space to meet your needs. We take small jobs and will accommodate your schedule. Dover provides all-inclusive bids with a 1-year parts and labor warranty. We install materials to manufacturer's specifications, so you will also get any applicable manufacturer's warranty, such as on Trex decking or James Hardie Siding. Dover will also bid to install materials you have purchased. We include a 1-year installation warranty for those materials. Contact us for a free estimate today.

Our project had many components, such as: closing off an open space for a new room, completing exterior siding, making repairs to bedrooms, drywalling, forming/pouring a shed foundation, custom iron work for a new railing, custom wood finishing. Their work was completed to above-standard quality and the most enjoyable part was that we arrived every evening to a completely cleaned house. They took pride in their work and made value added touches, like re-orientating a switch or stenciling our house address back on after painting was completed. We'll be scoping out Phase 2 and hiring them again.

Matt of Dover Contractors was excellent in the small job I needed done--cutting out dry rot around a window frame. Dover General Contractors was all one would want in a contractor: Matt arrived when he said he would, was careful with the project (taking care not to break the window adjacent to hie work area), explored the most cost-effective steps, used the best materials (replacing fir with cedar to better withstand future water intrusion), and charged a fair price.

Matt and his employee Nate came out and removed and replaced the sloppy tile work done by a prior contractor. We are so pleased with the outcome, that we will be telling everyone we know that Dover General Contractors is the company to hire. They are quick, precise and affordable!! We do have a couple more jobs for them and we are positive the outcome will be fantastic.
