I emailed back and said we would come look at the truck next day.  We appeared around 2:00 PM and was told the 2005 was sold.  We looked at all of their inventory in front of the building and the oldest they had was 2010 and asked if they had anything older and was told they could get older because they had many different lots. 
We listened to how leasing a truck would be much better for us and was there a few hours.   We knew that a new truck payment was not what we wanted.   The leasing payment for them was $179 on their advertisement but for us after they pulled our credit it would be$425 with a couple thousand down.   The down payment for for the extras such as spray liner, anti rust and steps on the truck.   We could rent the truck for 3 years and purchase it then for $23,000 plus after the three years.  
I asked again about where the 2005 was and was told they had a deal written on it and that person came back and they negotiated another offer and had to let that person have it.
I do not think they ever had a 2005 truck for anyone to look at and thankful we walked away.   We found a $14,000 truck with everything we wanted and 104,000 miles on and financed the entire amount 2 days later.   So I am saying DO NOT believe what  people tell you what THEY say you qualify for!
We did get the $25 Walmart gift certificate.

I have used Shottenkirk for quite sometime and am always very happy with their great service. They are honest and informative about any issues with my car and if there are things that can be fixed later or should be watched. I really appreciate all of their service people and have usually worked with Jim and/or Mike and they are always great to work with! And I gave them a B on price but that is really just because I hate the cost of auto repairs. They are not the cheapest but they are the best and I feel confident that I am getting everything I pay for AND they are keeping me in a safe vehicle!

They are always very friendly and keep you updated as towards their work with the car. It's just a really nice family type place.

They are a wonderful group of people to work with, very easy to talk to, and great to deal with. Jim Miller is one of their service reps, and he is wonderful to deal with, they go above and beyond. I left my car there after I had surgery, and they personally delivered it for me when they were done with it. Knowing that I couldn't drive at that time, they personally delivered it. They didn't have to do that obviously, it was just a nice added perk that they were willing to do. They make sure that I'm getting what I need, and that I'm in a safe car for the road. Their prices are right along with everybody else, obviously it's expensive to get my car fixed, but I feel like it's definitely a good value. They are great with the Quicklube for quick oil changes, and they are great when I have to leave my car there for service. They do a very good job and they are very quick. Even if I have to leave my car there, they try to get everything done within a day.
