I just called and told them I needed my exhaust fixed and they did it the way I wanted.

After a local oil change shop closed in town, I had to find a new place to bring my service. On a whim (and due to location) both my husband and I chose Magnum Muffler. First of all, I am glad that other business went out of business as I soon discovered that I had been wasting my time and $ with the other place. From Magnum Muffler, I received professional (friendly and courteous) service and didn't feel like they were trying to sell me unnecessary services (sometimes feel this at quick lube shops). Anyway - not only was the inspection better, the cost was less AND they gave me a punch card for my oil changes. After 4 oil changes, the 5th is free. They also vacuumed out the front of my car. Instead of waiting in the waiting room, I went for a jog, ran errands and they called me with updates/suggestions and when the service was completed.
My car is around 18 years old, so it needs more maintenance then probably the average. I am not the best at keeping up on regular maintenance and they provided me with a short list of recommendations (nothing unheard of) and in order of importance. So I decided I will come back to them and do a little bit at a time to get caught up. I was so pleased to find a local auto service company that I can trust.

I needed an estimate on tires. Went into the showroom. The owner or manager was buys with a friend, at least the conversation seemed to deal with anything but business. I stood by for over 10-minutes but I was studiously ignored. After that I decided to take my business elsewhere. I don't know what the quality or prices are like at Magnum but if they don't have time for customers, well ...

They are professional and we are happy with them. The service writer communciates with you and explains everything about what needs to be done. What they say they did, they actually did.

They are very good about keeping their appointments with you. When I go in with flat tires they fix them very quickly. I have been long time friends with one of the employees but that doesn't make me biased because I have never heard anyone complain about their service. I have gone in a couple times thinking that I needed certain work done and they were honest in telling me I didn't need it. They also did a complete exhaust system on our street rod.
