I feel bad because this was one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. I think we had 3 different crews and they were all great. Here's my problem and it wouldn't cause me to not recommend them or use them again myself. From the time I signed the contract to the time the work was scheduled the salesman that I worked with either left or was terminated. When the crew got here they didn't seem to know what to do and asked me if I had planned to provide my own sump pump. One of them also told me that if I would just open the vents in my crawlspace it would dry out on it's own. This is against everything they recommend as I was sold on sealing the crawlspace and I'm glad I did. They have a system called and quot;Ice Guerdand quot; where they bury the discharge line from the pump and have a mechanism to keep it from freezing in the winter. The salesman showed me this and I was lead to believe I was getting it. The crew that came told me they would need another 350.00 to do that so instead I have a 12 foot pipe sticking out into my backyard. I expressed my disappointment on the exit survey and received a nice call from Bix telling me they would be back to install it no charge. Of course I was thrilled thinking this was above and beyond what most contractors would do. I was scheduled twice but had to be cancelled because of rain. I sent an e-mail a couple of months ago asking about it but did not receive a reply and I called a month ago and talked to a real nice lady who said someone would call to re-schedule. So far nothing. I'm a bit worried that If I have a warranty problem I'm going to get the same treatment. I even expressed interest in signing a service contract to have a yearly inspection but also did not receive a reply. Again, a good company that did a great job at a reasonable price. I just think maybe they have too much business to keep up with.

Bix was on time and on schedule. The initial installation did not entirely solve the problem and they returned immediately to make modifications that resulted in a water free basement at no additional cost.

A great group of people from the salesman to the lady calling to schedule and of course the crew that did the job. A real professional group and a pleasure to work with. They will be coming back in a few weeks to tile, add a sump pump and place a barrier on the crawlspace floor. I would not hesitate to call them for any problems that arise.

Time will tell for sure, but overall they were good to work with. The original appointment was missed due to equipment problems so we had to reschedule. They left the tool to tighten the anchors but it would have been good for them to have talked through that process in person. Overall, it went well.

Crew was punctual and had great respect for customers property. Clean up of basement and yard was very thorough. Crew was professional and courteous. Explained the process and encouraged questions and concerns.

Bix completed the repair quickly and tested their work thoroughly. They also performed a thorough check for other foundation cracks or damage. The team is very knowledgable and hay to answer homeowners questions and make recommendations.

We had them come in to look at adding an anchor system to our basement wall. The previous owners of this house had them put in anchors on 2 walls and we are in need of a third. He arrived early (but not too early) and was very professional. He answered all questions I had and gave us, what I feel, is a very fair estimate for the work. He drew up the plans and left us a packet with all information we would need to make our decision.

Overall we were pretty happy with them. They did a real good job and actually the first time around, we had problems with what they had done and they came back and totally took care of it - it was a huge fix. They said that they have used faulty materials and they fixed it even better at absolutely no charge. And we were pretty happy with their guarantee. They are a good company. I think they are out of Iowa, but they travel. I guess their prices were reasonable, I don't know, because I don't think we shopped around. It bothered me a little bit that they were not really based here, but that really didn't seem to be a problem. I would consider using them again in the future.

It was unbelievably smooth! The estimate was quick and it didn't change from the finished price. The estimator answered all my questions, and sent the forms immediately. When I had follow up questions, the office staff were pleasant and quick to respond. We had to delay once because of rain, but they were on it the next week. I didn't get pushed back. The construction crew was friendly and very fast. They repaired 70% of my foundation (what we agreed was needed) in a little over a day and a half. They cleaned up really well and in the backyard I can barely tell they were there. The front needs to settle right around the foundation, but that is the case whenever you have to do dirt work. The rest of the yard was unharmed. Seriously, I have never had a better construction experience and I would hire them back in a minute. Also, they have a great guarantee. I know it sounds too good to be true, but I would happily speak to potential clients in person if they have doubts.

Steve came out and gave us the estimate which is just what we paid. Nancy in the office is just so knowledgeable, and was a pleasure to deal with. 3 men came and ran almost the whole time they were here. They drilled 8 holes in basement wall and pushed rods out in the ground away from the house. After drilling down outside in dirt, they put large metal plates down and screwed the rods into the outside plates. They then put 8 large plates on basement wall and torqued them into place. This brought the wall in approx. 3/4 inch. As we took the cheaper plan, my husband has to go down and torque the screws once a month until it reaches a certain point. After the 1st month passed and my husband torqued the screws (as they showed him), there was very little leakage. After the 2nd month there was no leakage We are very happy. They tried to repair the lawn where the metal plates were put in and did a great job there. These men ran the whole time. They were amazing. Cleanup was satisfactory, everyone was courteous and explained when we had questions.
