Great work!  It's hard to find someone who is willing to do small odd jobs around the house that need repair AND do a great job. Andy called me back right away and came over the next day and got all the jobs done for me and came back a week later when my range hood fan arrived after ordering and installed that too.  He did a great job on every single thing and I am so happy.   I'm keeping his business card in my file of the only person to call when I need anything done on my future home, including renewal work.  Professional, trustworthy,  friendly, helpful and dependable.  Couldn't be happier.

The quality of the work is fabulous. I couldn't imagine how they could possibly change my awful stucco into a smooth surface effectively...but they did. They came and left as scheduled. The crew was thorough and precise and left with the area cleaned at the end of each day. Every one of the crew was polite, and Andy carefully explained each step before beginning. When it was determined that a sub-contractor could perform the woodworking more expertly, Andy arranged for him to come to our home, meet us, and discuss his plan before signing on. The renovation was perfect and we never had to make a single follow-up call after the job was completed

Andy was very clear upfront with costs and time needed to complete this bathroom remodel/repair project.  He was a pleasure to work with.

Mr. Scott did a nice job. The finished product looked great. He was timely in returning calls and it only took 2 weeks for him to begin work from the time I agreed to use his services, this project took 2 partial days to complete.

The only thing I can say that he could improve upon was his method of clean up, in the fact that there was none. I didn't expect him to leave the room he completed the work in spotless, however a quick swipe off of counters and shop-vac to the floor couldn't have hurt.

We had used Scott's Home Renewal for some smaller projects before, and called them again when our basement flooded in June 2014, and had to be re-finished. This project involved removing and replacing drywall, replacing doors, trim, a window, carpeting, painting, and re-doing a bathroom. Completion of the project took quite a while, but we were very happy with the price and results. Any is always very nice to work with.

Andy was responsive and professional.  We've had Andy do reconstruction work for us before and he knows his stuff.  He's professional, courteous, and price is competitive with anyone!  You can't go wrong with Andy!

I'm very happy with the work that Andy and his father did. I had water damage on my ceiling and it now looks like new. They were very professional and cleaned up all repair waste. Andy was very accommodating in finding a time that worked for me, he had to come back three times to apply plaster and let it dry and I really appreciate it because it looks great!

Andy and his father did a fantastic job. We didn't know why our wall was bowing, they uncovered the cause which could have been much worse, fixed it and patched up the wall. They were prompt on arrival, cleaned up after each day and charged us exactly what was quoted. The wall never looked better! Would recommend their work to anyone!

I am very pleased with the work that was done. He came in, asked what I needed to get done and was there the next week doing exactly what we discussed. He even went above what we asked and repaired some spots that we didn't talk about. Very clean work as well.

We contacted Andy early November to have our drywall and basement ceiling patched due to a leaking pipe. We were able to get the estimate by sending him pictures of the holes on our wall and basement ceiling, saving him a trip to our house. He fit us in to his schedule before Thanksgiving, and showed up promptly at the scheduled time.
Andy and his father were there for about 3-3.5 hours patching up 4 holes on our walls, as well as a big crack on our basement ceiling. They were very professional and friendly and the work was done nicely - they re-textured the entire wall instead of just the holes to make sure it all matched up. It wasn't necessary (we probably wouldn't be able to tell anyway) but they did it because they want to do it right. They kept the work area clean, and vacuumed and wiped all area cleaned after they were finished. 
He gave us a 10% discount at the end since the work was done quicker than he originally estimated. He was fair and explained things clearly. I would definitely hire him again for other house project.

Andy and his father did a fantastic job!! They were very polite and professional. They did what they said they were going to do and more!! I would recommend and will use their services again. It isn't very often you find that type of business that cares what they do!

We called to get an estimate for repair. We were told to take some photos and email them. It was about 4 days before we heard any response at all. Once we got the estimate, it was reasonable and we did go with Scott's. The job was done quickly and extremely well

The Scott's are a son & father team with a combined experience of 40 years. I had read the reviews posted on Angie's List and they were the first business I contacted by e-mail. In response to my e-mail Andy Scott called me directly and we set up a time for him to come look at the repairs needed. He came out the following day at the agreed upon time and gave me both a verbal estimate for the job followed up by an invoice via e-mail with the jobs specifically itemized. Andy also informed me that he and his father could complete the job in two days. The repair work was done on one day and then allowed to dry (set up). Then the sanding and paint work was completed on the second day. The Scott's did an excellent job. They were very professional and took the time to put down tarps on the wooded & carpeted floor as well as plastic over the bathroom vanity. They also used a wet/dry vacuum to get any loose materials that had come off the ceiling all cleaned up.They also left a small industrial fan to speed the drying time. The Scott's got a good match on the paint color and they not only painted the repair area, but the entire ceiling & walls. It all came out looking really nice. If I have any small criticism (more of a suggestion really), it would be to use NO or low VOC paint so there aren't any toxic fumes. Since my bedroom is right across from the small bathroom, I did not realize how strong the fumes would be or that I would have an allergic reaction (i.e., sinus headache and sore throat) as a result. But to the Scott's credit, they did leave the window open to help the fumes escape. The only problem was my 81 year old father wanted the window closed because he was cold. While I did turn on my own personal fan, it didn't help that much. But overall it was an excellent job and a reasonable price. Andy Scott is a straight up guy who is very easy to talk to. I would definitely hire Andy & Roger Scott again for other indoor jobs.

Working with Andy was extremely easy and professional. He was able to squeeze our jobs in between some other big jobs he was working on and we are so thankful for him and his staff for that. All of the workers were extremely friendly, professional and completed both our kitchen and bedroom in less than 3 days.  This room is to be a nursery for our baby that is due in a month and I am extremely happy with how safe and warm she will because of the new ceiling/insulation. Andy gave us a same day estimate and was very willing to work with our needs. Aside from the job itself I was extremely comfortable hiring Andy based off of his confidence and knowledge on what needed to be done and his ability to determine exactly what we wanted. I contacted several other contractors/drywall people and most seemed to have knowledge on a part of what we needed done- Andy and his crew saw the project from start to finish including not only drywall but framing, structure, etc. We will definitely be working with him in the future on some of our many other home projects!

It went great!  They made my previously ugly and unprofessional bathroom look gorgeous as it always should have.  I called on short notice and we were on a tight schedule crunch with the mold remediators and the tile guys and Andy took the time to work us in even though their schedule was busy.  Very fair price as well. They did great work and were pleasant to have in the house all day.  Kept everything clean and treated it like their own.  I've already called them to come back out and do some more work.  Definitely recommend Their work.  Honest and hardworking - which is sometimes hard to find, but you found it here!

Andy did a great job for us! The textures on our ceilings are pretty different, and he matched them nearly identical to the original. He finished the job in just a little more than one day, and if the repairs weren't done beautifully, we would have hardly known he was in our house. Left everything nice and clean. Very pleased with how it all turned out.
