We are a lawn and landscape maintenance company. We offer a 5 step lawn fertilization program. The owner John Blue has an Associate of Applied Science Turf and Landscape Management from Iowa Western Community College with honors. We have been in business since 2005. We give free estimates there is a fee if landscape design is drawn up. We believe in being fair and honest in all we do.

John, Kevin and their crew were great, and I definitely got more than I paid for (even if I had paid full price, instead of using a special offer on Angie's List).
I appreciated their responsiveness and reliability from beginning to end. John called within 24 hours of my ordering his service through Angie's (I thought I would have to call him). John had to reschedule once due to a family member's health issue but he let me know well in advance. Then he reschedule for a horribly cold day in November, and they showed up.
As for the work itself, they were very thorough and detail-oriented. I walked John around the yard and we talked about what needed to be done. John and Kevin took care of everything and then some, even removing a lot of dead weeds in my mulch that I should have had under better control during the summer and fall.
John and Kevin offered some good and appreciated advice regarding some landscaping work that I had done in spring 2013 but with which I was not totally happy. I also asked John to take some mental notes about my lawn and landscaping as I hope to hire them in the spring to get my landscaping under control once and for all. I plan to hire them for mowing as well.
Very professional, very thorough, very reasonable. After struggling lawn care services for several years, I think I finally have found the right folks.

Called me and set apt to review the work
I was requesting. I wanted my shrubs and plantings cut back as they have not
been attended to for many years. John was very detailed in explaining that not
only would they do that but also remove all the weeds and dead debris form the
landscape. He also informed me he was pretty confident that it could be
accomplished within the four hours I had paid for. I was so impressed
with the professional attitude and attention to detail I asked John how much
more it would cost me to apply new mulch 4 inches deep. When he told me
$103 I immediately agreed as I felt that was an exceptional price. I was
so impressed with this service that I contracted their service for snow removal
this season as well as maybe lawn cutting next year as well as more landscaping
plantings. They did all they said they would do. The site was cleaned up
and all debris was hauled off. I am very pleased with this service and
would recommend highly to anyone. John stays on top of the details and calls
when condition delay appointments which I was very thankful for and not
used too. I have been looking for some time for someone not only to
provide this service but someone I could trust and thanks to AngiesList mission
accomplished.
